Thinking is never verifiable -- only consciousness is...inasmuch as life
never needs "proving."

As a quite elderly man lay on his death bed, he smiled and said,
"My innards are worn-n-n out."
And someone leaned over and comfortingly responded, "The physical
deterioration of one's organs is a natural part of growing old."

And the old man waved away the comment, saying, "No, you fool, I'm not
referring to THOSE innards! -- why do you think I smiled when I said it?"

If consciousness was a piece of machinery, thinking would be it "froze up."

When this one man would hear someone giving out advice or offering instructions,
he often liked to say to them, "Hey! put it on bread and maybe I'll consider it."

(Health considerations can always play a part, though God only knows what
I mean by that.)

Perhaps the worst thing a man with the potential to awaken can do is to
listen seriously to himself think.

Thus a man's greatest foe may prove to be -- his own words...if not his own
unenlightened hearing.

The Official Excuse for all dumb moves that are uncovered is for the human
perpetrator to say, "I was desperate!"
Such are the common results of living a life amidst conditions.
