The notion of remembering-the-past
helps sustain the illusion that there
is such a thing.

The reason that those (amongst the ordinary) who're considered the most intelligent
prefer physical science over all the alternative forms is because men are less inclined
to error in their knowledge of the external world than they are in that of their internal one.
