If there's anything that the mind can't do,
no one knows what it is.
...("Oh, sir, I do." Aw, shut up.)

Well, since we've opened that door, perhaps we should undertake further pursuit,
and reinterpret the original data: If there's anything that the mind thinks it can't do,
no one knows what it is.
(Leastwise no ordinary person.)

I guess we could say that ceasing to talk about yourself is some progress,
but once you can do it, it doesn't amount to anything unless you can then
stop thinking about yourself.

There can be no real verbal teaching regarding the mind, since all such
attempts come from the mind -- like a finger unknowingly attempting to
point to the hand from which it extends.

Men misunderstand the mystic's statement "I do not know anything" by
perceiving the emphasis to be on "do not know anything,"
when it should be on the "I" part.

How The Effort To Control Thought Relates To "The Problem":
The effort to control thought is the problem.

Okay, here's another trick for you:
If you wanna find something that's really true,
just find something that the mind can't believe could be.
