The ordinary claim that the mind exists,
while would-be mystics insist it does not;
those who know, neither say that it does or does not.
Motto: Why encourage things that dis-courage?

Those who hold things outside themselves worthy of honor and emulation
are themselves without honor:
dreamers of achievement
by physical imitation
with no understanding in sight.

Version For The Religious
Men who worship gods outside themselves worship (in fact) demons.

An illusion can produce but illusions.

What somebody else knows has nothing to do
with what you know -- other than the fact that
life knows what everybody knows.

To try and save himself from meaningless criticism of the popular media,
one man would continually remind himself that the primary purpose of
television, magazines, and newspapers was not to inform or entertain him,
but to sell him something.
His plan for the future is to move this simple recognition into his
perception of what his thinking is all about.

Life cannot be defined, yet every time you speak you so attempt.
And with the sound of your words in your head,
of this simple fact you're never aware.
