Thoughts can only do one thing at a time,
instincts can do not only many things at once,
but everything at the same time.

A man who'd been hangin' around a stranger
("studying with him" as he thought of it) one day realized,
"The more I'm around him, the antsier I get. ...Should I attribute this to him,
or is it something growing in me?"

One day a man asked a stranger he'd been talking to for awhile if he could be more specific
and clearer in what he was saying, and was told, "If I was, then I wouldn't be a stranger...
and the profit you perceive from my words would be gone."

In his prison cake, one man saw this message,
"Merge with circumstances, and act like you want for nothing."

Those who think they're in prison -- are in prison.
Those who think -- are in prison.

A speaker declared:
"If you don't know 'what's-going-on' then deceiving yourself does no harm."
And after a lengthy silence a stranger standing nearby said:
