One man titled his autobiography:
"What A Guy! What A Guy! -- It's A Good Thing You Didn't Know Him Any Better Than He Thought He Knew Himself...There For Awhile" which, since he could be confused and uncertain faster than he could write, he never finished.
And one man composed a song for his girlfriend:
"It's Weird Being Here With You", then one for himself,
"And In Your Case -- Even Weirder!"
(He later had to tell himself that it was just a joke
[you know how "selfs" can be].)
The body conforms to instinctive survival demands,
the mind attempts to adapt to mind-made rules of secondary consequence.
...But hey, if you think you got it bad, fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, and like that.
When he heard the statement:
"Contemporary man is hopelessly adrift amid the confusion of his own contrived world,
and dangerously cut off from his natural one," one chap thought, "My god, how much
older I must be than I've ever imagined."
The preceding story was a test, a test of The Emerging Broader Awareness System.
This concludes today's test. We now take you back to your normal programming...
if you really want to go back.
Mentally speaking in the routine sense, man is at his best when he's insecure.
What this has to do with his instinctive life and his higher mental one
I leave to you to conclude.
