A man familiar with only sausage doesn't know what to make of a pig.
A man went to see a mystic and pleaded with him,
"There must be some secret to freeing oneself from the grip of thought.
Please, I beg you, tell me what it is."
And the mystic leaned toward him and whispered, "Come back when you're alone."
If you overestimate a thing, it will accept your estimation
and move accordingly.
(You do know what "thing" I mean?)To one man,
things were all right on the left, but not on the right,
things were okay above, but not below,
all seemed fine ahead, but not behind.
He, my friends, was half a man --
normal and well,
but half a man still.
One man's approach is that he
tries at all times
to keep a head
within his head.
One man's latest circuit tester is
"It's bad enough to say anything,
but then to explain what it was that you said is unbearable."
One man had a die he would roll each morning --
some days it brought sight,
some days made blind.
