Uncommon Calculations For The Anxious-To-Leave

One man said:
“Now that I have achieved full enlightenment, I feel it my duty to offer my life as
an example for those seeking the same goal.”
By an overwhelming vote at their latest convention, members of the
International Society Of Enlightened Persons expressed their concurrence with
this statement.
Question: What percent of those reading this do you reckon will accept as fact
that the person who made the comment is awake?
(Super Secret Query: Do you care if your response is made public?  --
so you're not easily mortified?)

Men identify with collective crises only when they have no personal one.
(“Well finally: here’s a news item that obviously has no counterpart whatever
in a man’s struggle to awaken.”
For those so interested:
Either everything or nothing has any connection to that particular matter.)

Evidence of no understanding are complaints about the presence of injustice.

A father said to a son:
“Consider how the Stockholm Syndrome is reflected in how the conscious part
of the brain identifies with the automatic thoughts that hold it captive --
better still: how every behavior of men in the world outside of you
can be found in the thinking inside of you (not to mention the money you save in movies and books).”

Everyone is shallow (in reality, extremely so);
being enlightened is being hip to this while everyone else is oblivious thereto.
(“Pa pa, how old do I have to be to engage in thereto?”)

Even those with no particular affinity for the blues like to privately sing:
    “I’m gonna pack my bags,
and down the road I’ll go,”
even though they can’t seem to lay their hands on their own clothes,
and can’t find the road that actually leads from where they are.
(But still it's nice to sing about and imagine.)

One guy’s motto is: “Don’t spit on caterpillars.”

Dialogue.
“Passive people perish.”
    “So? –  everybody dies.”
“I stand by my words.”

Those not awake can’t estimate how many might be.

To feel and nourish aggression toward others for non-physical defensive reasons
is to bear witness to your normalcy and total lack of comprehension.

To a lad said a dad:
“What is more fun –  and enlightening –  than (for instance) hearing someone
with no musical talent trying to speak critically about music?!”
“And you’re not saying this to point my attention actually at music, right?!”

The local god of one world got the conscious creatures there started by
giving them The Secret in five words,
but after they got fully involved in the civil and technical advancements
befitting thinking beings and began to demand ever shorter versions of everything,
he changed it to a ten word description,
(and it’s been up or [according to your view] downhill since then).

The first dragon the mythical knight encounters is:I Feel So Discouraged;
the next is named: Don’t Try To Cheer Me Up,
then he meets: Damn! –  I Never Suspected  -- no one does.
You can have a boatload of eye-opening stuff you’ve collected over the years,
but the day your ship ultimately docks, what you see on the fresh shore
still comes as a complete surprise.
On holidays, in the castle, the main course served is:
A content man is a dead man,
followed by the dessert: And a dead man can be a happy knight.
(Entertainment on these occasions comes from the king’s dictionary
wherein a: Nervous-system-rebel is listed as: An act with no audience,
[see, as always with such people, it remains a matter of amusing yourself.])

To each new generation of thought it is given to say:
“Although we may not live to see the triumph of our views,
at least we leave knowing we have aided thereto.”
How delightful  –   and accurate.
(And down that big wide public road: The City Rolls On.)

A man not going anywhere won’t hesitate to welcome you along.

A father said to a son:
“People don’t know how to be for you if you’re not clearly against something
they recognize.”
    “But no great loss, huh?!”
“Certainly survivable.”

So muttered a guy meandering in city park:
“The unwritten-down justice that so inflames routine men in the 3-D realm is like this:
A one-eyed man HAS one eye  –
now tell me: Who the hell is gonna put up with this kinda nonsense!”

Those who like insisting there is a commonality to all the different religions,
while correct, do not see what it is: blood, power and politics: no finding of fault here, for lacking such, no activity is viable in man’s City Of The Second Reality.

The Drugs On War.
The certain man stays hopped up: legally and secretly.
(It’s legal because ordinary minds aren’t aware of it.)

Another way you could think about DoingThisKindaStuff is that it is:
Making the peculiar sound reasonable,
(of course first you must be able to perceive the peculiar  --
which is not what ordinary people think it to be  --
which is a giant clue to the whole affair).

The most important thing in city life is: Keeping everything straight;
what’s significant to the rebel in the field is: Keeping everything in flux.
(“Father, isn’t there where we used to live?”)

The inherent sensation in man (the creature with consciousness)
is that there are two of him inside of him,
and while this is natural to man,
it is disturbing to a few.
