A
man who knows-the-answer
is never heard to say to someone speaking to him: “That’s a very good question.”
(Maybe
because they never are, not compared to the ones he’s asked himself.
“If I am
going to lie --
it won’t be to someone else.”)
When
he heard a show that advertised it featured: “Astounding
Medical Deformities, Abnormalities, Irregularities and Freaks,”
a man leaped to his feet and shouted:
“So
where are my royalty checks?!”
The
primary reality takes actions for words,
while
man’s second reality takes words for actions,
and
seems to figure that eventually actions will come around to its way of
thinking.
A
man in a position of collective authority who, in his public comments,
tries
to speak-sincerely
will not long be in such a position.
(You
do not get appointed tour guide in bunny land, and then describe the sights
in
alligator.)
And
on an unrelated topic, one consciousness said:
“I
didn’t come all this way just to hear me
talk.”
Standing,
glass raised high, one man declares:
“I
will accept no gibberish before its time.”
Periodically
after the lad would say something (nothing
in particular)
his
ole man would give him a one eye brow lowered look and mutter:
“There’s
a place where you would instantly regret having said that.”
(Which
always put the boy seriously off balance for a bit.
[You
figure that was the intent of it?])
One
guy is now trying to arrange his life so that increased needs will equal
increased
deeds.
(“The-less-tolerance-I-have-for-my-ordinariness
kind of thing,” he elaborates.)
On
a clear day, as he sat under the cool shadow of a rebel’s thought patterns,
a
man reflected:
“Even
if you adopt the apparent worst-case-scenario approach:
that
life is just some sort of joke,
you’re
still left with the heartening fact that you are able to refer
to it as a joke.”
(He wanted to
laugh, but was afraid it would kill him.)
Hormones
can add,
blood can subtract,
but only neurons can multiply.
(“Why do you think consciousness gets to sit on top?!” sniffs the
brain.)
When
it’s all said and done – some people still won’t accept it.
(Oh! –
the headline to this story was supposed to have been:
“Concerning
Everything In The Intangible Realm.”)
The
public world’s collective and indigenous view is:
“If
I was meant to know what is going on – I would have been born
knowing.”
Conversation.
“Every
time a human whines – an angel's hair catches fire.”
“I don’t believe that’s true.”
“Well...........it
should
be.”
The
primary reality takes actions for actions;
man’s second reality takes words for actions;
the certain man’s consciousness takes care.
The
only truthful
thing you can say about something hidden in the closet is that:
it
is in the closet.
One
guy told everybody in the world not to fuck-with-him!
–
everybody
that is except people just like him.
(The headline
to this one should have said: “This
Is A News Story?!”)
If
you know what to think and still don’t think it,
then
you don’t really know what to think.
A
sincere
man pretends
to care.
When
he heard the amount that the state spends a year on each prisoner,
one
man was at first astounded that the figure was more than he spent on his
self --
but
after a few seconds of mulling –
and
applying it to his own consciousness' situation –
it
all made perfect sense.
Says
one man: “Trouble comes in pairs! – just look at me.”
The
ole man sat ‘em both down and said to the kid:
“By
now you should realize the costly folly of being critical of ordinary people
and
their ideas concerning man’s intangible realm” (to which the lad
nodded his agreement)
“but
rather than just trying not to
be, consider this approach:
Assume
that behind their serious faces, they’re all grinning like possums
and
are totally insincere in everything they’re saying:
not
only is this NOT technically incorrect – it works!
Which solidifies its validity.”
He
then stood and said:
“Now
go take your consciousness for a walk.”
(Sometimes
the kid was so happy to be the kid and the beneficiary of
the
ole man’s insight, that he’d damn near burst his mental britches in delight.)
A
Universal Law (As Manifest Locally).
Those
with pea brains will seldom admit it.
(Instant
Revision: “…are unable
to admit it.”)
If
you know what to think and still don’t think it,
then
you don’t really want to think.
Fact:
He who stages the contest can call the winner.
Fact:
No one wants to stage their own contest.
(No
one that is, but a rebel.)
Regarding
The Certain Man.
The
tribunal said that the deciding factor in their final decision
was
his total indifference to the charges.
