Everyone hears The Voice   --  but no one knows what it is.
(Well, only a few.)

A Tale.
In the race of biorobots who ruled one planet,
the machinery that served as their brain had two operating positions:
Fully Automatic, and another one (which none of them used  –
since it was not self-propelled and required attention  –
they may have been robots but they were no fools).

Everyone is their consciousness  –  though,
everyone feels they are in partnership with their consciousness;
to be enlightened & liberated is to no longer suffer this illusion.

“Everybody has at least one magnum opus in them.”
     “For real?”
“No! –  not for real.”

Anyone who takes the trouble to say that they disagree with what some other person has said on a certain matter, doesn’t understand anything that matters.
“Only buzzards that fly in the sea,
make the squawks of interest to me.”

Fleas with no aversion to plagiarism can make a fortune off an elephant.

Graffito Found.
“While a man with one eye can only see half of you  –
he’ll see that half twice as good.”

After it struck a man:
“If you’re honest, you don’t feel the need to try to appear honest,”
just for a moment  –  he toyed with the same idea regarding being awake.

Says one guy regarding how the justice of things could work:
“A man too poor to buy his own drink
doesn’t deserve to be upset enough to want someone to buy him a drink.”

An old timer nudged a small visiting nephew:
“Have you noticed that when someone offers another person advice
they invariably do so in a whiney voice?”

Another Tale.
The prodigiously puffed-up liege proclaimed:
“It is our sacred duty to steadfastly repeat that which we have already done,
and to studiously avoid any future that contains personal change.”
So spake the common people’s stupedious Anti King.
(As he read of this in the paper the next day at breakfast, one villager mused:
“A bit of early morn irony does not un-well go with one’s conventional corn flakes.”)

Definitions.
Questions: Processes.
Answers: Things-specific.
(Not unlike the universal and the local.)

It’s told of one rebel camp where if you sought entry you were required to
undergo interrogation wherein you were asked a single question about yourself,
and if you attempted in any fashion to answer same, you were summarily turned away.

The only study proper in man’s second reality is OF the second reality, (correction): The only study possible in man’s second reality is of that realm.

Urban Lit.
In the city: eighty-nine per cent of non fiction is fiction.
(In the Arts and Social Sciences sections it approaches ninety-eight per cent.)

Humans must act like humany stuff is not only important,
but that it even has any significance at all.

In what might prove to be either a boon or a bane (or both)
to either an optimist or a pessimist (or both),
one man serves up this observation:
                                                                “Into each life,
                                                                  some life must fall.”

Just as women certainly understand sex, but not men’s experience of it, neither can those of ordinary consciousness ever comprehend what it’s like to be otherwise.

A rebel camp that publicly attempts to define what it is  –   ain't.

Report From The Inner Winter Olympics.
A man with elephant feet can leap as high as he wants to.
When he saw a playbill for: Cat On A Hot Tin Roof  one guy thought:
“Oh! –  a play about my special consciousness!”

One fellow noted to his inner partner:
“Every time you feel that someone has done you wrong,
by way of keeping count you could say to yourself: ‘X²’. ”
His intangible reflection reflected on this for a sec, then asked:
“Couldn’t I just as well say: ‘green’?”
“Sure  –  that’s just as good.”
Language has its own genetic code,
laced throughout with emotional DNA.
    (“Among ordinary people, you mean?!”)

As the old folks used to say:
“The only good partner is a GOOD partner.”

J

One local ruler instructed his neural guards:
“Any time you see a man with no fear  –   shoot him!”

The following comes from a little known collection of writings:
“Big Earl's Big Compendium Of Ostensibly Specious Knowledge:
Or: A Deconstruction Of Man's Intangible Reality By One Hardly Qualified,
(Or Perhaps Too Much So?!?)”

If you crawl inside an active volcano & come back out -- what a tale you'll have to tell.

Banks have no idea what they're doing.

At least obesity won't rub off on you.

World leaders periodically get together to sign peace agreements just so they can
get out of town for a few days.

Iceland is not really an island  --  it's a dried whale.

If you go around telling everyone that you're left handed --
pretty soon you'll forget how to throw a ball.

For every action  --  there is an explanation,
(and actions and explanations can never occur simultaneously).

People who smile-in-the-face-of-death are nuts  --  (or blind).

In the spirit of equity it may be our responsibility to report that the International Society Of Perfectly Normal Persons registers strong exception to Big Earl's (as they phrase it): "Uncalled for ridicule of man."
