The
Man With The Certain Interest In Consciousness

People
are only interested in two things:
things
that are entertaining, and things that are informative;
most
people’s interest is limited to one – that’s just the
way things are.
To
be-asleep (that is: of ordinary
understanding) is to have had your consciousness kidnapped --
but you don't know by whom.
A
man mentioned to his partner:
“I
read that the whole trick to bending an iron bar or tearing a large book
in half
is
ever getting started.”
“And the significance of that to awakening is?”
“I’m
not sure............am I?”
Fact.
Everything
that occurs in a closed system inescapably has two results;
normal
human consciousness is a closed system.
Question.
What
can be done in such conditions?
In
one land, anything that can be said true of reality is also not true.
One
of the more curious features of human life is the belief that a belief
system
can
exist apart from humans (all religions that is).
The
Chemistry Of Existence.
Sexual
lust is the boiling point of life.
The
Shadow Chemistry.
The
gnawing to awaken to the sexual lust of consciousness.
Men
dream of pluralities, but marry monoliths.
Illness
& Its Visibility
A
man diagnosed with same said: “The nice feature of cancer is that you can’t
see it.”
“Hey,
that’s reminiscent of my consciousness’ unseen despicable condition.”
The
state considered two choices: make announcements that they were going to
crack
down on speeding drivers because of its concern for the people, or just
remind drivers that speeding is against the law and that they will arrest
you when you do it.
In
his consciousness, the certain man is his own state and highway
travelers.
One
man, in an effort to curb his alcohol consumption at parties, started bringing
a
case
of beer with him to such affairs in which he had replaced the contents
of half
the
bottles with ginger ale so that he could still enjoy the ritual of opening
a cold one,
but
(depending on the chance of his selection) could throughout the evening
appear
to be drinking while not actually doing so – but!
--- the
way it turned out was that once he started to imbibe, whenever he would
open a bottle that contained soda,
he
would immediately set it aside & open another until he found one filled
with beer.
After
discovering how this was fated to play out, he confided:
“I’m
either too smart to be fooled by the likes of me,
or
else I’m so stupid that I can't even fool myself; either way
-- it’s pretty sad.”
One
voice said: “Hey – we don’t have to take this,” and another responded:
“Yes
we do,” and the first one said: “Hey – you don’t count, you’re the
same voice.”
In
the city, just before it's too
late --
it's too early
again.
Men
like to write fiction for the same reason their life frustrates them.
If
a man-who-knows
writes fiction it is because his understanding of what his
actually
represents, makes him smile.
Notes
one chap: “The best part of being rich is that you have attorneys, accountants,
managers, secretaries, etc to take care of all your personal business so
that in essence, you personally have
no business.
Believe
me: it’s a neat way to live: sort of like the metaphysical feat of
having
nothing on your mind --
no thoughts to disrupt your consciousness.”
The
rallying cry of one world is: “We don’t need
no rallying cry!”
One
man refers to his self as: “My alleged
self.”
“Dear
Mr. Advice: Since so many people never
do what they really want to in life, should a person force their self to
do so.
P.S.
Does this question sound funny
to you?! Sincerely,” etc.
On
one weird world no one ever says anything they didn't personally intend
to say.
Conversation.
“Is
pretending to be creative the same as being so?”
“Not the same, but as good as.”
“Then
what’s the difference in something being the same-as,
and as good-as?”
If
you can’t manhandle language it will manhandle you.
Quote
Of The Day.
“No
man who can’t hold a meaningful conversation with his self will ever marry
a
daughter of mine. (Or son for that matter.”)
If
you can’t manhandle language it will manhandle you.
One
guy’s advice: “Don’t worry about it – you can always read
about it later.”
If
you can’t manhandle language it will manhandle you.
One
man always gets a good chuckle whenever he hears about books & courses
concerning how to motivate dogs: “Hell, they should come take a lesson
from mine,” he said (with no sound of pride).
The
acid test is whether you can keep a hacky sack aloft in a moose stampede.
Some
mornings after face-splashing and tooth-brushing one man will look at his
self in the mirror over the bathroom sink and in the voice of a semi famous
celebrity say:
“Do
you know who I am?” and will then reply: “I know who everyone
is.”
On
one really
strange planet, what people think they said is what they actually said.

Collective
Man's Intellectual World: The only
place in the universe where you can go broke spending someone else's
money.
Dialogue.
“Everyone
has a radio that will play forever on stations they didn’t choose
unless
extraordinary action is undertaken.”
“Hey – I already knew that.”
“Everybody
does.”
“I mean I knew it, but didn’t realize I did until you said it.”
“Yeah,
same with everybody.”
“Is there something that everybody
doesn’t know?”
“Yes,
one thing.”
“Is it important?
“Can
you spell: keystone.”
A
man who understands language can say anything
and mean it --
and also not.
The
ultimate proof is that you can solve a math problem in your head while
dancing
the tango in a country & western bar.
During
a pause in his workout at the gym a man said:
“I'll
be glad when I am so old & decrepit that I will have no choice but
to do nothing.”
In
a sudden fit of either metaphorical commercial enlightenment,
or
just commercial overload one man exclaimed to his self:
“Everyone
in the city is a victim of a constipation conspiracy.”
He
did not however specify who is behind it.
Ordinary
minds want hot topics to think about:
rebel
minds want to stay on the same old one;
forget
finish lines ---
just remembering to ride the horse
suits the certain man fine.

For the man living-to-awaken, not even death is more serious.
