Directions For Digging That Leads Straight Up

Year after year in referring to understanding any one of the affairs unique to man,
one ole timer would often say:
“It’s all according to the way you look at it,” ‘til one day the kid inquired:
    “Is there nothing dear dad  --  to that you have to add?”
“Yes,” he replied, “you also don’t have to look at them in any particular way.”

One man often says that if it ain’t one thing it’s fourteen others –
and even when its not  –   it’s still the one thing.
By the by: another way to look at the various mystical styled rituals
so popular with man is that they at least give him something a bit out of the ordinary
to do in a life otherwise boringly routine.
Say those who speak to god:
“It’s nice having someone to talk to besides the everyday dunces I’m surrounded by.”
Question: Do you hear that as being about men, or certain synapses?
(As concerns the spirituality of wood working: “Funny,” mused Rod,“I don’t feel taoist?!”)

You will never understand any religion, philosophy, political, mystical or social system as long as you do not digest the fact that they are the creations of naught but words,
but just because something is made up does not make it inherently condemnable, (consider the tales parents tell children to get them to engage in behavior that is
best for them, or the ones adults tell themselves);
the buffalo in the linen closet for the few is in overlooking the simple reality that words can represent both objects and ideas, and in the case of the former:
afford men a practical grasp thereof, while in the latter instance only help sustain
the suitable momentum for a merry go round.
You can get as close to Valhalla as you can say you are:
this is mankind's unique feature, and for the rebel: a rabid ox in the ear.
Few are those born with a consciousness able to ever realize that all it knows
about all intangible matters it made up;
where are the boxes that can realize they are empty and continue to function?!
“What?” they would say, “is your point?!”       What indeed.
Only the certain man can enjoyably pursue a point that has no point  --

not  in ordinary men's  reality.

One manner by which the certain man appears sociable in conversation with the ordinary is by frequently seeming a bit naive about the subject under discussion.
One man’s muted motto is: “In circumstances where you can’t be valid  –

be vivacious.”

From one perspective it could be said that the nervous-system-rebel’s secret inner life is one of a non sequitured resistance to whatever intellectual argument
life is presently processing through ordinary men's consciousness.
(Not unlike putting a fun house mirror in front of a trompe l'oeil.)
Notes one neural roughneck: “If you can’t be verbally genuine  –
be greasily gracious enough to keep yourself aware of your helplessly
disingenuous mental surrounding.”
Noah doesn't shout that the ark is sinking when he knows that the others aboard
can neither swim nor grasp the invented nature of the water.

Each individual's mental & verbal relationship to the whole of humanity can be expressed by a certain equation  –   one whose existence is of no general interest.

For his term paper, one student submitted the following:
“Without consciousness man would not be able to try to explain his existence,
and regardless of its less than satisfying results in attempting such,
did he not have consciousness he would not even feel the need to try.
Now what d’ya make of that!”
(And on the paper his instructor wrote: “I ask the questions around here!”)

Penal Parenthood.
In prison as soon as: the last word on the matter is said  –   it gives birth.

A man can:
 lose a leg;
  lose a love;
   lose a job,
    but once he knows a certain fact about consciousness,
     there is a certain something that can never be taken from him
      (without he turns weak and passively accedes.)

To say that the full weight and momentum of the universe is arranged in such a way
as to directly oppose a man being able to ever realize and then hold onto this
certain thing is to engage in awe inspiring hyperbolic understatement.
(Footnote:
Curious: this certain something makes the same sense forward and backwards:
a fact that itself would suggest much that is astounding, new & refreshing
to the unusually alert.)

Trying to solve the unique problems unique to man
is the closest that man can come to solving them;
trying to solve the intangible problems of man IS their solution;
in man’s special second reality: a carrousel is a self perpetuating machine,
and nothing ever fails on this merry go round that cannot be fixed on board;
to see beyond the distorting glare of city lights, the concept of human-problems
must be redefined (or put another way):
None find fault with Nero save those who live in Rome,
and who cares where art is headed except those who care about art?
(Aka: Only those look for new shoes who take as real the imaginary piss that
their natural thoughts pour endlessly on their make believe feet.)

“'Cuse me a second sweetcakes while I slip my consciousness into
something more becoming  –   to ME!  that is.”

And that boys & girls, is the name of what TheThing is all about.
