Without
seeing how the mind continually paves the road just ahead of where it is
going, you can never understand cannibalism being its favorite post travel
libation.
There
was once a band of people who pursued an activity that seemed to outside
eyes to have no purpose, but just because this is how it appeared to those
not involved
does
not mean that is an objective judgment of the matter.
Only
cows know what goes on in their stomach,
and
only the sleeping don’t realize they’re dreaming.
Often
when he takes a glance at what his brain is endlessly churning out
one
man will say to himself: “Who writes this tripe!”
(And
one cow expressed umbrage at man’s use of the word tripe in this context.
[“Fuck
what a cow thinks!” said one man in mortal response thereto.])
Even
though normal minds engage only in activity that is in the best interest
of
man’s
collective consciousness, to ever awaken from the general mortal snooze,
you
must push far beyond this publicly paved part of the endless potential
highway.

Science:
A form of encouragement for those who don’t want the merry go round
to
ever run down.
Religion:
Encouragement for those who fear it will.

Information
(as the outcome of science's study of physical reality)
is
the establishing of new synaptic connections,
while
entertainment (as native to religion’s pronouncements concerning man’s
invisible one) is the activation of junctures already in place.
In
a slippery to describe sense: the man determined to get-to-the-bottom-of-things
turns the scientifically inclined area of his mind on to the activities
of his metaphysically disposed part.
(Aka:
Anything that appears in the certain man’s consciousness with the power
to get-him-down
– HE gets down.)
Yes
boy and girls, friends and neighbors: There’s no way this is possible
–
but
he accomplishes it just the same.
(One man thinks that for their own good, everyone should be nicknamed,
Pinkie.)
One
man’s take on a matter:
“The
people running the conspiracy are behind those who publicly proclaim
that
one exists -- and
now that many are becoming aware of this,
the
real conspirators are also taking charge of them doing so.
(Plus:
they may be responsible for me saying this about them.........and
for you listening to me.......who knows?!)"
Men
become writers because no one will listen to them talk;
men
become singers because no one will read their writing;
men
become preachers because no one wants to hear them sing,
and
men become bitter...........well – for reasons that are obvious.
Another
easy way to describe what it is to be awake is that when you talk to yourself,
you don’t mistake it for something else.
(Or
a reverse definition: Only an ordinary person will answer the question:
“If
you could do it over – would you?”)
A man who will explain how his art developed – lifted it.
In
one land was a particular area which made the people feel disheartened;
there
was another which caused them to be cheerful;
there
was yet a third region which produced in them, anxiety and fear,
and
still another, bravery and certainty,
and
although everyone had lived here all of their days,
none
ever saw these as the true source of their sensations,
but
rather took them to be self generated.
The reason that ordinary men do not recognize the more conscious among
them
is that while they may physically live with
him, they do not internally live like
him.
Cows of different nervous system feathers do
not emotionally stick together.
If you stand on your front porch awaiting some supernatural sign to direct
you
to the promised land of freedom
you will look upon the endlessly passing traffic as the cause of your captivity
rather than your own staring there at.
As long as your attention stays on imagined scenes outside the prison walls,
you are assured of forever dreaming behind them.
(“You know: sometimes – just for a second – I feel
that I almost get it.”
[Rumor says that nine thousand almost-get-its
become equal to actually getting it.])
Any treatment for an intangible ill becomes a new one.
It
is tempting to conclude that a man’s mind only thinks about things that
are
in
the man’s best interest,
but
if you scientifically study what it is normally concerned with,
you
are forced to re examine your concept of what constitutes one’s own best
interest.
This
highlights again the clear operational reality that the needs of man-the-collective,
and of an individual (of a special sort) can diverge in ways never noticed,
or
accounted for by the collective.
Though
beyond the rational grasp of the congenital mind:
the
herd itself is an entity with its own existence and needs quite apart from
the
various cows which compose it; seeing this is what awakens an anomalous
cow here and there amidst the dreaming multitude.
Employing
methods he had personally developed: one man came to realize
that
his mind could entertain at least three different sensations simultaneously:
verbal,
visual, and visceral --
which still does not account for the feature of consciousness that is capable
of making such an observation.
“If
no one is home – then who is it that is aware there is not?”
That
sentence exemplifies fully why ordinary men will not entertain this matter
in
their mind for even a moment.
(“Well what kind of nutty cow would make itself deliberately sick!”)
A
father told a son:
“The
most important thing if you’re dying is to not let the other wolves know.”
“But we’re not wolves.”
“If
you’re dying you should
be.”
An
awakened man is like a wolf among sheep
who
has lost his taste for mutton.
