If
You Don't Get This --
You Don't Get Consciousness

Under
routine conditions: A king under siege is stronger still.
(File
this under: Mental Stabilization.....or
maybe: Insanity Avoidance.....or
perhaps: Tie Me Kangaroo Down.)
The
reason that everyday aggressive people don’t turn into mythical warriors
is
they always attack areas of no significance --
but which, after being assaulted, assume
an unwarranted appearance thereof.
The
Dragon
was a nobody until St. George
showed up and took him on.
Life
doesn’t have to worry about the possibility of men discovering the
secret
as
long as it can keep them looking in the wrong places.
(Also:
your congenital mind will remain a routine non entity --
unless
you turn up something fresh in your brain with a sword in its hand.)
If.
If
it does not bother you that all of life – including man’s mind
–
operates
automatically – then you are normal;
if
it does not bother you that all of life – including man’s mind
–
operates
automatically – then you do not realize that it does;
if
it does not bother you that all of life – including man’s mind
–
operates
automatically – then it could be that you have realized it,
can remember it, and have ignited in your own brain a mind beyond
that automatic mind.
(“That’s some mighty big ifs.”
“Yeah,
but we’ve some mighty big brains.”
“Yeah, bigger’an any of us’ll ever use.”
“Speak
for yourself, little john.”)
Ever since man’s first thought,
each succeeding one has come on the premise
that it will help clarify the preceding ones.
On Donner!
– on Blitzen!
on frontal lobes --
you jokesters and tricksters!
Silence is to certainty as talk is to aggression.
How
To Never See Anything That Might Get You In Trouble.
Only
look at the thoughts that automatically appear in your consciousness,
(and
in the mouths and minds of others.)
After
extensive efforts: one man was able to think of more than one thing at
a time --
but
he noticed that whenever he got up to three, his mind would suddenly fall
captive
of
one of them and he would lose all awareness of what he had been doing.
Seems
in the city that a man can walk one dog – maybe even two
–
but
beyond that it’s like the warden calls: “Lock
down! --
everyone
back in your cell – NOW!”
“Pa
pa: how does anyone ever
accomplish what we’re wanting to?”
“That’s how come those who do never talk about it.”
(The
elder stared at the lad until he finally grunted like he understood
[which he didn’t.])
All
the cars passing men’s mental houses can be equally sticky,
thus
are all of their selected efforts
to free their dog therefrom doomed to failure.
The
corn in your crib is not the hindrance --
but rather the fact that it fills it up.
A
farmer without a barn with empty areas can never grow anything –
not
new, interesting and differently nutritional he can't.
A
man said to a physician: “It seems to me that the practice of medicine
has
got to have of all professions the greatest potential for burn out, inasmuch
as everyone who comes to see you professionally has a problem they want
you to solve. The pressure must eventually become brutal."
The
doctor thought on this for a moment, then said:
“But
then again: everyone from plumbers to mechanics are in the same position:
when
you ply any trade, all of your business activity is dedicated to solving
some problem that another human being has:
ergo
the pressure you noted is experienced across quite a large board,”
an
observation that caused them both to fall into silent reflection
–
until
a kid who’d overheard the exchange injected:
“Every
example you mentioned concerned problems which have a physical reality,
but
how about the whole otherwise area of intangible human concerns,
and
those whose attention is devoted thereto: priests, psychiatrists,
spiritual
and psychological advisors of all stripes;
would
not the pressure on them be even greater – in that they are
attempting to redress vexations whose only existence is in
the complainant's words?”
And
this comment spurred a passing dog to muse:
“Then
how about the man who knows what is going on and is willing to talk about
it
to
others who are interested – where is the pressure in that scene?”
Just
think: until man and his consciousness came along: hormones had to suffer
the
pressures of being alive in silence.....which probably accounts for their
truncated
life span.....which coincidentally is the same as that of neurons.
Biology's
strangle hold (if it in fact has one) on psychology will never be fully
grasped as long as the only sounds heard are of psychology gagging.
(Pst!
– this is why the nervous-system-rebel establishes his own private
internal, neural phone service.)
Whenever
this one guy finds his mind back on automatic
ramble,
he
runs around inside his consciousness shouting:
“Code blue! – code blue!”
Regarding
men’s many identifications of mortal transgressions,
and
one guy’s personal legal decision that: “Life is the ultimate culprit”
– consider:
When
there is no where to lay the blame – there IS
no blame.
