Those Who Believe Themselves Already Full ____________________________________
The
reason men commonly insist that the true descriptions of things-as-they-are
come
only from the permanency of the written word is their awareness of the
transient
nature of the mental activity in their own heads.
It
is not for nothing that men’s myths routinely tell of the gods delivering
their most important messages to man carved-in-stone.

The
unpredictability of neurons is matched only by the predictability of hormones
--
and (as a matter of unnoted operational fact) they are tied thereto.
Men
dream of a good world
--
one with full stomachs, rested muscles,
and
expended genitals, and a realm of evil when they have a migraine.
Question:
How,
on the great mystical quest can you tell that a knight has become lost?
He
starts to take his brain’s old routine thoughts seriously (which is to
say):
he
begins to choke and stumble on the plagiarized thoughts of other lost men.

“Having
statistics is as good as having understanding.”
“Having a good memory serves just as well.”
Regardless
of their professed political allegiance:
everyone’s
consciousness practices a kind of ostensible socialism.
(Any
practical consequences thereof, you figure out.)
When
men reach a fully civilized state (which, by deep definition means
they
no longer must fight over survival essentials)
they
then haggle over non essentials.
“All
save the man who knows,
right pa pa?”
“Well, swat an ox in the ass with a cello!”
One
way to be popular with the ordinary is to insist on pronouncing your
personal
favorites amongst man’s many cultural activities,
for
that further announces that you will (by custom) then listen to them declare
theirs.
Turnabout's
fair play --
to everyone but the real deal
man.
At
a recent City Council meeting a man proposed legislation to make legal,
mental
abortions,
and
not only did no one oppose it – no one even appeared to have heard
him.
(“The city works in mysterious ways.”
“No
it doesn’t --
it doesn’t have to,
not
as oblivious as those who reside there are to what goes on there.”)
“We
may be men,” said the man, “but we have sheep brains,”
and
four ewes and two mes got up and left in protest.
Those
who want to wake-up think it will be waking up to --
waking-up,
(since
that is what they have spent their life studying),
but
what really happens is you wake-up to everything that is going-on,
(which,
if anyone could know better at the outset)
is
what they would have been studying from the outset.
(But [as they say in Alasland]:
“Alas.”)
Near
the holy city of Yo’ma,
a man recently appeared who announced that
he
is the eighty seventh reincarnation of a bunch of cells.
(To
little notice by the holy-lovin’ locals, or the professional representatives
thereof.)
As
they passed a university a son asked a father:
“Why
do they bother to divide the so-called Humanities
into Hard & Soft
disciplines, (exemplified by say:
Psychology & Philosophy) as though
one group is
serious
and scientific and the other more akin to fiction and the imagination?”
“Perhaps their attempt at humor.”
One
man came up with the idea that his mind was a box;
he
kept poking around this notion ‘til one day he got out of
the box --
Boy!
--
did he get a surprise.
Follow
Up To A Story Up.
Men
take their ideas of a god from the permanency of the written words about
him, which they hold were supernaturally inspired by
him,
in
preference to trying to deal with the reality of
god (man’s own mind)
and
its well known transience due to the body’s ever churning physical needs.
(Put
in a shifted allegorical setting):
If
the body itself could conjure up supernatural images it would picture
things-transcendental
as
the universe’s most astounding meal, fuck or nap;
the
best that routine consciousness can come up with in this area are
mislabeled
dreams of its own slippery self, and without anything sufficiently stable,
and
self produced in it capable of grasping the situation.
The
intellectual purpose for written words about things intangible
is
to keep men from feeling like they have to
think about them themselves.
Mythological
martyrs (for one metaphorical instance) didn’t: die-for-your
sins,
but
rather so that you wouldn’t have to think about such unsettling matters
as myths;
death;
being alive; the mind and the nature of words.
The
consciousness standard to man is demonstrably not constructed to think
about the affairs that fill its time when it is not confronted with survival
pertinent situations
(in
the fundamental sense of thinking being: problem-solving);
in
other words: consciousness --
by nature and via thought –
is
given to problem solving concerning material matters relevant to his survival,
but
when not so engaged, the mind is not programmed at all to try to actually
solve
the problems it perceives to exist in the intangible realm it
has created.
Mind
for example may say
that it sees the question of:
Why-do-bad-things-happen-to-good-people
as a problem to be solved,
but
these are hollow words; no ordinary man has a consciousness interested
at all
in
personally solving such a problem --
that
is what holy scriptures and their expert interpreters are for.
The
ordinary world of man is unquestionably operating the way life wants it
to,
and
what common men call thinking
is clearly what it wants men to accept as thinking, but there is something
else that a few men can do with their consciousness that makes the accepted
notions of thinking laughable (to
be facetiously poetic).
At
times when changing circumstances threatened: fear and feelings of helplessness,
one
man would privately say to himself: “Hold on while I check our special-monitors.”
