Since 1782 -- Putting-The-Finger On The Few

Asked a son a father:
“What is the biggest hindrance to being your self?”
“Having a mental image of yourself.”
“But isn’t that natural for man?”
“Yes -- but so is not having a fully realized self..........................so?.....”

Suddenly!  --  the hot buzz all around town was about a man who was said to be:
The-world’s-best-interview  --
because he never lied or hedged the truth even a little bit:
the euphoria died just as quickly as it arose once it was found that he had but one reply to all questions: “I don’t know.”
(Upon hearing of this however, one world has invited him to become their leader.)

Men who refer to their age to bolster their assertion for the wisdom of their ideas
are not simply old  --  but dead.

In city matters: only the convinced are convinced.

One guy’s advance telegram read: “Will arrive tomorrow stop  --  brain to follow.”

A father said to a son:
“No matter what the ordinary mind says: it is always half wrong;
I know this sounds extremely weird and improbable, but it is true --
and there is a technical reason therefor.”

Discouragement On The Hard-shell.
A man who had been ill says the effect of the attending two surgeries
has been like the removal of his: duocarpedenum.

A Tip.
Do not dismiss snide remarks in discussions of man’s cultural, political,
and spiritual affairs, for without them, such affairs would never get discussed.

A lot of those who say they: don’t-want-to-think-about-it    --    really don’t.

One man has three ideas he lives by in the city:
“Words ain’t what they used to be,” and:
“Words ain’t what they used to be,” and finally:
“Words ain’t what they used to be.”

Having to work at keeping-your-self-respect
shows that you have no self worthy of any.
A son asked a father:
“How do you know all the stuff you tell me?”
“Better question: How do other people tolerate pretending that they don’t?”

An ability to explain to your satisfaction why you don’t know about a certain thing
also explains why you don’t know about anything.

The difference between a masked pro wrestler and a tenured intellectual
is a lot messier than you would want to hear about just before dinner.

Growth is the only justification growth ever needs.
Corollary: That’s why the certain man has no explanation for what he does   –
both because he can’t, and because it’s not possible.

A cop said: “The best thing about this job is how you can push your way into
people’s home and rummage around through their stuff”  --
the more active part of one man’s consciousness says the same is true with him
and the rest of the brain he’s in.

The king’s principal wish is that the people be silent (that is): the kings of rigid land  --  (which is to say): of rigid consciousness.
There is a certain looseness that is the call to which the neural knight responds.
“I ride not in search of further restrictions going under the name of: knowledge,
but in pursuit of a frame of consciousness that has no glue nor permanent shape.”

When you can cause people to not know what to say to you  --
they won’t try to say anything to you.
(“And thank god for that,” said the more conscious part of one man’s mind.)

One man says:
“Trying to talk to someone on drugs is almost as bad (okay: about the same as)
talking to someone who’s not.”

Anything you can say about an ordinary man is entirely irrelevant,
and of no use whatever  --
(except for the special, impersonal purposes of the certain man’s aim).

One city’s slogan: “So Much To Worry About  --  So Few Synapses.”

While it makes no jungle sense: A one eyed cat is more alert than a two eyed one.

Ordinary men judge themselves sane by the fact of their consciousness being stable by them knowing certain things absolutely;
while the certain man knows only one thing:
that there is always something beyond what his mind presently says it knows.
