Legend
tells of a man who gave public talks on the nature of life,
and
at the conclusion of each would announce that all save The
Select Group
should
leave so that he could deliver The
Secret Epilogue,
and
there would always be a small number of people who stayed in their seats
as
everyone else left the room.
After
the door was closed (as per the speaker’s instructions)
those
who had remained would sit silently for several minutes,
then
begin to laugh and holler uproariously for a bit --
then
open
back up the door to the area where those who had left the room
were
still milling about -- and emerge, smirking broadly --
which
they would quickly cease as soon as all the public attendees
had
witnessed the little drama.
(It
is further alleged that one man’s mind did the same thing to him.)
“Okay
Pop, what’s your latest favorite rattlebrain stunt of men?”
“Today’s is in fact quite ancient, yet still alive:
it
is a spiritual teacher (supposedly full of understanding)
warning
his followers of the danger of listening to anyone's words but his.”
Just
as it’s the job of every good king-tyrant in the world to keep a lid on
the people, same too with the dominant power in your mind.
Every
land's motto: “Unruly thoughts cause serious faults!”
The
thing about alcohol and other non chemical emotional giddy-makers is that
they
make you feel like you’re having more fun than you actually are.
Being
in the city can be an all right activity -- IF
you
don’t mistake the lights in the buildings for things they’re not.
People
who don’t grasp the nature of life like to moan over the “evil of the world”.
Anteaters
think everybody sucks.
Joining
a religious group gives you a place to express how much your soul is suffering
other than just to your mama.
A
thinker with a mission is no longer a thinker.
After
hearing a reporter say that his aim was to get everyone he interviewed
to say something that would ruin their life, a man’s mental king beamed:
“See
how badly you need me to protect you!”
How
Thought Operates Normally In Men.
Boxers
say: “Everybody has a plan -- until they’re hit.”
Men
with small minds are anxious to share.
A
father’s advice to a son:
“Stay
close to the walls.”
“I would expect you to say I should stay far away from the walls.”
“Ultimately,
yes, but initially: stay as close to the walls as possible as to gain as
much knowledge about them as you can for your later abandonment thereof.”
“Prisoners-and-their-knowledge-of-the-facilities again?”
“Um.”
Feelings
and thoughts have a connection that seems obvious enough --
but
it’s not by half --
not
if you want more than just the right to groan about how badly you feel.
People
are supporters of their home town teams for the same reason they are religious.
On
one world the cost of being cocky and of being uncertain is the same,
and
the bouncy thing about it is that those who take either course
all
ultimately think that the price was too high.
Regardless
of man’s world wide, ridiculous insistence to the contrary:
the
cost of being alive is zilch.
The
knight actively on the quest couldn't be poorer if he tried.
Being
humble is a waste of time -- if
you have something to be humble about.
Why
hide an extinguished lamp under a basket?!
Two
types of roosters crow: the mean sonsofbitches and the impotent.
The
rebel’s question of the hour: Who was the first man to see himself naked?
Nobody
likes a smartass, so life has arranged so that those who even
begin
to suspect what is really going on usually soon turn into smartasses.
(Another
potential problem handled.)
One
thing about it: if you want to see life’s efficiency in action --
live
and in person! -- you don’t
have to buy a ticket or stand in a line.
The
only non athletic way to become famous if you have no ideas of your own
is
to attack those of someone else.
(“Seems
fair to me.”)
The
true hidden, fisher king of the inner knight,
if
he in fact has any who oppose him,
never
acknowledges them:
that
almost alone, distinguishes him.
That
is why everyone hates the Tar Baby:
no matter how you punch him --
he
never verbally reacts. “Screw
him!”
Fer sure.
Invisible
in men’s brains is a portal through which life furnishes man with his thoughts:
it is here alone that the rebel’s potential exists.
Only
a man’s tongue and the portal know what he is going to say next
(and
even his tongue and portal don’t).
It
is here alone that the rebel’s potential exists.
Regardless
of the maxims they write and repeat in the city, for those who live there
it is not even remotely possible for them to: think too little and talk
too much.
“Why
do you think that faithfully doing ordinary things is so important to
being
ordinary?!”
Most
bad dreams are caused by telling people what kinda guy you are.
Men
whose minds on small matters dwell -- love to share.
(And
kinda-guy guys say: “Say! -- should we be offended by that?”)
The
city mental singer says: “Verbosity itself is my virtuosity.”
The
knight's latest version of the question: How does a man see
himself naked?
How
It Goes Part 69.
If
you think that anything
is wrong -- then everything
is
wrong.
A
son asked a father: “Why do you not remind me constantly with a slap and
swift kick that every time I say one word about myself that I destroy millions
of the mind cells
I
need to ever free myself from the strangling illusion of my verbal self?”
“Why you smart-alecky little bastard!”
Outlier
Maxim: When anything is wrong internally
-- everything is.
A
man asks: “If people didn’t
talk about the-kind-of-person-they-are,
would
they actually be
a person?”
Where
can things that appear only in reflections
exist
outside of mirrors?
A
knight with a visible mission is not a real knight.
“We
sleep in the dark, and there likewise we awaken.”
“Is this why I should originally: stay-as-close-to-the-walls-as-possible?”
“Moles
without dirt expertise are doomers.”
“And,”
boast the moles: “In the dark we were born, and in the dark we shall die.”
Life
(via its ordinary operations) is nothing if not tidily wrapped.
The
true knight may dress neat enough, but where civilians can’t see
-- tidy, he is not.
A
castle with beige walls and hip furnishings houses no hidden
fisher king.
True
facts are not usefully
true if they can turn on themselves.
(Aka:
All city knowledge is kamikaze.)
The
Contrast: Chemicals can’t commit
suicide -- not so cultural realities.
You
find only socrateses
and jesuses
on the killing floor or racked to the wall --
never
sodium and jasmine.
The
truly naked knight is not doomed.
