THOUGH YOU CAN MOVE ABOUT
IN THE CITY  --  IT IS STILL A PRISON

Stuck Between The “S’s” In The City.
You can’t be too silly,
and you can’t be too serious,
what you can be too much of is: alert (at least for city needs).
Below the level of seriousness is thought,
and below the level of thought is consciousness,
and below the level of consciousness is all alertness  --
which knows no seriousness save surviving.
“Yes --  we’re all comedians in this burg,
and the most burlesque are those who don’t realize it.”

Regarding The Acoustical Architecture Of Psychology.
Up above the penthouse it is quiet.
First you’re in silent Eden: then in Babel;
then for a few: it’s on to another place of non yammer.

Everything you feel is either driven by sensations in the body, or ideas in the mind.
If how you are feeling is coming from ideas  --
nothing can ever be done about the way you feel;
if you never realize this for yourself  --
you will never be anything more than you were born as.

Consciousness beyond the routine monitoring level is akin to
the center spot of a spinning top:
the higher up in the house --  the calmer things be.
The difference between the certain man and everyone else is that
they stop their ascent where they’re supposed to.
“Young man: if god had wanted us to live in the attic,
he would not have made the lower floors so attractive.”
(You can’t argue with good interior design.)

Advanced Views Of Man's Residential Architecture.
Mind has both thoughts and the ability to be aware of itself,
but normally the awareness potential is totally submerged in the thoughts;
Adam’s post Eden activities
(and the unrecognized source of all man’s methods of achieving enlightenment)
were devoted to separating the two and maintaining a constant awareness of the mind.

The way men say they feel about a non physical matter is never exact,
and the reason they give for the way they feel is always totally fouled up.

One way to tell that you may be with someone who-knows-what's-going-on
is that you can’t think of anything to say to them.
“Would this apply between you and the more conscious part of your own mind?”
Indubitably ! --  (that’s the real point in mentioning it.)

Sign by a city cash register:
No Need To Get Out Of Town UNLESS  --  The Danger’s Past.
The old men say: “The new guys are priceless.”
(Sarcasm ages well, no?!)

One man says he had personal cards made on which was a proverb, axiom,
slogan or the like which he had the printer select, but not reveal to him,
which he has handed out for years without ever knowing the message on them,
and someone noted that such a tricky enterprise had probably produced some
quite interesting reactions and unexpected situations, to which the man replied: “Well.....yes and no.”
    “How so?" he was asked.
“Well --  yes, it has, and: no, it hasn’t.”
“That is literally not possible,” he was told, and with a concerned look he replied:
“I know: that’s what most interesting and unexpected to me.”
Moral: When not gaffing others  --  why not gaff yourself.

The way you tell you’re totally stupid is that other people’s stupidity bothers you.

In life: everyone has six unique and individually tailored chances!
(Unless you believe you have more.....or believe you have less.)
“Is this a great place to live or what!”
Note: A man who knows what he is talking about, may
(when speaking of where-people-live)
be referring to more than men’s somatic spatial placement.

Even the most academically honored fail to see that man’s mentally-invented, post-survival cultural world grows and develops just as organically as does
his physical one;
hybrid tomato plants  --  fresh religious schisms, new schools of fiction: all the same,
but while ordinary minds accept and depend on water remaining constant,
they think not the intangible landscape within their collective consciousness.
Definition: Criticism: A sign in the city that all is well.

More Re How Mind Works In A Related Example.
(Even though only the certain man is full time committed thereto):
not uncommonly do ordinary people say they want to expand the breadth of the world
in their head, and throughout history they have created systems and drawn up plans
for achieving this goal, but inevitably do the maps become of greater interest,
and apparent significance than the alleged destination.

How Mind Works (And As Always For The True Traveler):
Including Its Failure To REALIZE How It Does.
See  --  this is how a matter is able to keep a secret even from itself  --
--  which is the source of man’s unfocused awareness that produces in the few,
the sensation of living in a kind of dream world.

Awareness held,
on confusion rings the bell.
