latest priest to be beheaded by the king was the latest one who told him
again
that all men possess the: divine

his enemies.
Some
synapses simply cannot take a joke.
(Correction:
In certain parts of the city -- none
of them can.
“Yeah

Threats
and actions are entirely different creatures,
and
only the dazed confuse the two.
As
he sat up on a hillside, looking out on the city,
with
its many institutions, systems, symbols and beliefs, a man said to his
mind:
“Here
is how we are going to operate:
I
will automatically assume that anything down there you are drawn to take
seriously
is
a hoax and part of a conspiracy.”
Amongst
the ordinary: consciousness’ drug of choice is:
the-support-of-others;
not

and:

their hit record version of intelligence.

Lounging,
smiling in the sun on vacation, one chap confides that he considers his
opinions, attitudes, and judgments to be barrier islands
to
the serene beach of his mind.
One
man says he doesn't understand all the sweat and bother that's stirred
up
by
some for: the-secret so
passionately sought for by the saints, scribes, mystics,
and
occultists when it is right there in the dictionary for everyone to see.
The
difference between cows stumbling into Shangri
La, and the
non

cow,
the
distinction can’t be described to you, and if you’re not,
then
there’s no need to try.
The
Royal Sage one day said to the Prince:
“All
of life is equitable --
it
is man’s thoughts which divide it into the good & the corrupt;
thus
those who call themselves religious always have a fifty per cent chance
of
picking the wrong god.”
In
pursuit of city affairs:
being
assured that you are doing the right thing is the best support;
in
those of rebellion: being
sure is.
Modern
Myth.
There
is a chapp (who insists it be spelled with two “p’s” [pretentious
prick])
who
has two children, the first of whom he told that the most important thing
in life
is
to be constantly mindful of what he said,
and
to the second he instructed that a man’s most pressing concern in life
is
what other people say;
then
one day, just as they both neared puberty (just outside
London)
he
stuffed them both in a valise and disappeared.
Utilizing
only technology of his own design,
one
man says that his extensive cosmological studies have revealed
but
a single trace of real weirdness in the entire universe -- “And it
is made by man.
(to
be more accurate: by man’s consciousness..............and to be even more
precise:
is
caused by man’s consciousness as perceived by
his consciousness).

Whenever
he finds himself back in the city, filling out forms of one kind or the
other
(as
he notes is damn near a full time pastime there)
one
man says that in the space under: Occupation
he puts: Blabbermouth.
“When
in the water -- do as the other fish do,” (adds he.)
“Passing
for normal is the only way to get by in the city,
(or
around the dull synapses in my mind............which of course is the same
thing.)”
Fact:
Civilization and conventional thinking are founded on the most common basis
possible for men;
flights
of individual freedom and fancy are for falcons -- not cows
and men.
(The
fellow also recommends that after a clean-&-rinse,
if
you are going to send your tongue out for a press be sure to specify:
“No starch!”
[Post
scripts he: “To get around in the city and still keep your wits to yourself
requires
above all things: flexibility.”])
Out
in a field, two men were talking and the first said:
“What
is great about discussing human consciousness is that
you
can cut it up into as many pieces as there are
pieces;
divide
it into as many categories as there are
categories,
and
say about it as much as it is possible for consciousness to
say about it,”
(and
maybe it was the sun, but the other guy began to feel faint).

“If
you don’t care whether you live or die -- neither will anyone else.”
“Same with being asleep.”

The

One
man says that his biggest fear is that he won’t live long enough
to

idea -- but with a slight twist.)

The

“Can

One man says he is now almost totally convinced that they had the Dark Ages
An
email came in representing another excerpt from the book:
"Oh
My God! Look What Life Has Done To Me Now,"
in
which a man says that for several years he has been seriously studying
the
ideas presented in these daily writings and now has a car that will go
three
hundred miles an hour -- but has no place in mind that he wants

Primary

Were
the truth fully known: who are the world’s most irritated, frustrated,
and
pissed off people?
Answer:
Travelers
who started out -- but never made it.
And
another chap (with a single "p") persisted in addressing his own thoughts
in
such unflattering terms that he himself eventually became unflatterable.

All
it takes is a look at their face and a listen to their voice
to

passing judgment.
A
poet stood on a high, windswept forehead (that should be: cliff)
and
nearly be-swooned by the crashing waves below, mused:
“O
for a life of sensation -- rather than thought,”
and
a troll behind a nearby rock bemused: “O for a life of the sensation of
thought!”
On
one level: nothing presents a-significant-health-hazard

while
on another: everything does.
