More Stories About Life In The City:
(In That Part Of The Brain Where Your Mind Arose).
____________________________________________________

A son asked a father: “What ‘s the funniest thing you’ve heard lately?”
    “A book title: ‘Fifty Things That Drive Me Crazy!’”
“And that’s not because you’re immune to such?”
    “No  --  from recognition of man’s unacknowledged natural mental condition.”
The simple laugh at metaphysics:
the man-who-knows  --  at science itself.
Even idiots can be religious and atheistic,
but only the nervous system rebel can be scientific from the inside out.
(See: ordinary scientists study the material world in which they live
while the certain man investigates the one living in him.)

In the city: everyone can be an expert  --  since there’s nothing to be expert about.

If you can be upset by something someone else says
you have no more notion of what human life is about than a cow in an accelerator.

Commonly was the comment heard in the city: “Words are full of magic!”  --
and a boy asked his father: “Is that so?”
“If you are full of nothing it is.”

Real Property Law.
The more exact the understanding  --  the less specific the boundaries.

International Trade.
Protectionism is the antithesis of conscious individualism.

Life Amongst Cows And: Life Amidst Yourself.
The private standard of one knight is:
“He who needs help  --  NEEDS HELP!”
Being uncertain, wounded  --  even lost is one thing,
admitting that you are  --  something else entirely.
What Can’t Be Faced In The City.
Confessing that you’re confused means nothing there  --
since there is nothing there to be not confused about.
Fact: Men do not mind being lost as long as they have nothing real to compare it to.
“Are you attempting to say that all of man’s perplexions are imaginary?”
Try: invented.......(by those tolerant of frustration).

One forgotten (or maybe it was never passed around to begin with?!?) myth says
that the first man’s brain to experience the voice of consciousness (Adam)
was not actually driven from the original silent, garden-of-the-nervous-system,
but left (or at least, tried to) of his own accord
once he realized how things were starting to go after the change.

The man-who-understands-what's-going-on would storm out of but one conversation, and not one in which someone else said something insulting or annoying,
and not the one between God (hormones) and Cain’s father (neurons).

How NOT To Get A Cult Going
(Or Even A Religion Or Political Party For That Matter).
Get a bunch of people together and tell ‘em how life actually works.

To fully see: a man must constantly step through new doors,
and these doors are: individualism:
a man mentally  --  on-his-own.

Everyone says they can: think-for-their self  --  neat, huh?!  --  safe   --
and irrefutable too!

Truth and honesty are only important to serious people;
serious people believe they are especially important;
truth and honesty as perceived by the ordinary are sides of beef,
and nothing is more important to cows than beef.
The parts that sheep sense missing from their make up
are the source of all their metaphysics and spirituality.
For fish to have prayer, they must look within themselves and find no dry spot.
If ordinary minds could grasp what is going on
men would not be forced to live ordinary inner lives.

In the city: man’s collective intelligence runs off of AC current  --
whether you like it or not –
and note: you’re perfectly free TO, like-it-or-not  --
that’s what AC current and choice is all about there.

Something is a serious matter if the serious say that it is
(how else did you think all this crap got to be so serious in the first place!)

Becoming more conscious than the herd will not keep you from ever being
stupid again  --
it just keeps you from enjoying it.

Definition.
Being Alive In The City: Being on the verge of REALLY being alive.

The featured speaker strode to the podium and said:
“My subject tonight is: ‘Linguistics And Reality’  --
about which I have nothing to say”  --
--  and left.

A father said to a son:
“It’s really pretty simple: If you can find how to: think-without-thinking-about-it,
you can get to the bottom of everything.”
Later the lad squinted: “If I was my father: I wonder if I would be serious?!?”
And a man overhearing all of this pondered:
“Is someone who is attracted to this kinda thing like a de-clawed cat who for spite
has turned into drapes?”
And the son suddenly thought:
“You know: if I was still as dumb as I used to be  --  I’d be serious too.”
Slight Warning.
The dead in the city do not like to have it pointed out  --   seriously!  --  they truly don’t!
“Ah, come on!  --  that’s a joke: the way you mean it,
they wouldn’t even hear you say it.”
Very good! --  what you say is so  --  yet still: they don’t like it.

This Kinda Thing Foolishly Defined Again.
This kinda stuff is the answer to the question no one knows how to actually ask.
Which made one man muse:
“Can just being continually exposed to hearing life being exposed the way it is here, cause you to become more conscious?”  --  better put would be:
Do cats constantly privy to birds finally learn their secret and begin to chirp?
A man without a special, thoroughly relentless drive
is like a would-be knight without a horse  --
not even one he has conjured in his mind  --
which is the only kind possible  --
in that knights themselves are self created.
No myth you hear has any nourishment  --  only the ones original with you.

Neurons have a great memory  --  and a few men think:
“Yeah! – but I wish they’d forget about ME!”

Early on, one man adopted a twelve word aphorism which represented to him
how you should think about life and the doings of your fellow man:
later on (when he seemed to have experienced something),
he shortened it to three words: “Forget about it.”

Life said: “I have seen the future  --  and the future is man.”

Life, Man And The Pursuit.
Man is the pursuit;
man is the pursuit of the extraordinary;
man is the pursuit of excellence;
man is the pursuit of perfection;
man is the pursuit itself.

Beyond all talk of the: mundane & divine;
past all debates of: pantheism vs. monism;
beyond all notions of: change & stagnation is the simple realization that:

Life itself is alive  --  and man is its present best work-in-progress  --
which explains everything the certain man wants to understand;

all you have to do is  --  turn loose  --
and it all comes into view.
