SPORTS SCORES ARE POPULAR IN THE CITY BECAUSE ONCE REPORTED,
THEY REMAIN THE SAME

A father asked a son: “What is childhood?”
   “I’ll bite: what?”
“The rebel’s reply would be: Knowing a secret but not knowing that you know one.”
   “Okay, then what about: adulthood?”
“Well, don’t mean to give you the blues, but that would be:
When it’s too late for everything.”
  “Jeeze!”
“Well you brought it up.”

The reason that people cannot agree on exactly what is culture and civilization is that they exist only in men’s minds and no one can agree on what the mind is.
The Great Neural Dragon: The entity that consumes everything in front of it  --  and:
behind it as well.
“Indeed!  --  something we can all do  --  all that’s necessary is to have thoughts.”

To start with, the mind always wants to say: “Okay  --  where do we start!?”
(Then later it always wants to know: “How can we wrap this thing up?”)
“Pa pa: is that why there are no location directional road signs in Oz?”
    “You mean: reliable directional signs.”
“Yes of course; how foolish of me.”
On the road to Shangri La there are as many roads as there are would-be travelers.
“Yes sir: the best thing about the inward journey is that there is no: wrong-direction."
He should have added: “For ordinary people  -- who do not have an actual destination.”
“Yes  --  that’s what I certainly meant to say .”
After-the-fact is still a fact.

The first stage of maturity is physical and is your fate;
the second stage is mental and is your luck.
“But I believe that every man makes his own luck!”
And your reason for interrupting to say this is?
Those-who-know, see the obvious,
those who don’t, waste your time yacking about it.
Ask yourself: Why is it that everyone who trips, falls down  --  not up?
“But I never thought that spatial matters had any bearing on understanding?”
So how would you like it if your frontal lobes were in your colon?
In chess, comprehending, and pissing with a wind: position is everything.

Definition Of Neural States By Way Of Office Supplies.
Being Upset: White-out for comprehension.
And a kid asks: “Why do pencils have lead at one end and an eraser at the other?     Same reason men have a mouth at one end, and a fist near by  --
to reinforce what the mouth has to say.”

One man began to treat himself in his mind as though he were not present  --
and eventually got so weary of it that he left.
“Good riddance!” huffed the March Hare at the Mad Hatter’s departure;
certainly his right to say, question is: On what meaningful basis?
(Kind of tacky wouldn’t you agree, to escape Alexander only to be done in by Zeus.)
On one world: if hormones don’t get you  --  neurons are standing by;
another reason why rebels are known for their attitude of: “Don’t call me” --
one sustained by them keeping their phone number secret from
their own ordinary mind.
("If I do not want to hear from me  --  who better to see to it?!'')

The mayor of the city:
the head of technology:
the standard part of the mind  --  all stated simultaneously:
“There is no blame to being --  opportunistic  --  it is but a synonym for progress.”
(And as long as we’re in the neighborhood):
“Man” is just another word for: man (so don’t take it so personally!)

When rain drove them from their outside physical activity,
some kids retreated indoors, and started playing a mental game (one said):
“If life wanted everyone to experience a: nasty-little-surprise  --
what might it be?  --   dying?” and a second kid replied: “How about: being born?”
then a third offered: “Perhaps having everyone, once in their life realize --
just for a second  --  what is really going on?”
and as good preparation for their adult lives:
they all pretended not to hear what he’d said.
(Meanwhile: the anti-kids were trying to figure how to do bobsledding,
and mountain climbing indoors.
“There’s just hardly no damn way to ever get away from everything finally
coming back down to hormones and neurons, now is there   [leastwise to hear you tell it.])”
And the lexisnipe injects: “Another difference between children and adults is that
the former do not, in the beginning, need or want things divided into two categories.”
(“Stupid kids!” snorted someone.)

The collective is more than merely the individual writ large –
it is what the individual could be, writ cumbersome, laborious and heavy handed,
(nothing amiss, but remember this when looking at all things cultural).
There is a saying on one world: “Livers won’t lie to you,
but grab hold your wallet when neurons start to speak.”
(Note: some areas of the universe are more cynical than others.
“You’re referring to areas in the universe of the mind, correct?!”)

Definitions.
Consciousness: The ballroom of the mind.
Thoughts: Men’s dancing shoes.
(“Shouldn’t that be: ‘Men’s standard dancing shoes?!’”   Okay, but then an addition):
DoingTheThing: Air borne slippers.
The facet quirky to verbalize is the separation the certain man can facilitate in his consciousness between consciousness & the thoughts that normally traipse thereon;
through little more than holding his attention on the matter can he cause
the tapping of the thoughts life endlessly sends on to his dance floor to rise as it were, off of the floor just enough that the two are not in contact:
to a select few this is known as executing the: Great Separation.
(Also reputedly known in one place as: Fred Astaire meets Francois Dirigible.)

Mental Health As Mental Health.
Ordinary minds could not survive without recurrently feeling that they surely
cannot survive.

The apparent collective certainty of the herd about a given matter
can be like a pacifier to individually frightened calves.                   (Okay: even grown cows.)

There was once a time when there was a people who had a one word,
proper response to anything that could ever be said.
As they evolved and progressed, they refined this down to a single silence.
“Pa pa: is it stories like this,
that keeps the stuff like this,
              from ever becoming:
              The Official History Of Man?”

Then there was this other world whereon,
whenever they held Father & Son Day
would-be participants could only attend upon achieving an indistinguishable merger worthy of a peanutbutter & jelly sammich left laying outdoors in Nairobi.
