What
passes in the everyday world for a serious display of insight by
those
who
have none are discussions between such people wherein they each
passionately
present their opinion of what it is precisely that is going to destroy
civilization and the planet.
The
City Rule: When you don’t know what's
going on holler: “LOOK OUT!”
And
one guy notes: “Do you really realize how
sweet it is! --
that
out of all the humans on Earth
it’s only the man who actually
knows
what he’s talking about who doesn’t care if he’s listened to or not.
How
much better can it get!”
And
a son asked a father:
“Is it possible that everyone really does know what is going on,
but that for some reason they either will not or cannot admit it, and talk
about it?”
“That
is the very kind of mental activity that will lead the certain man to
everything
he wants.
Do
you realize quite plainly that what you mention could be possible --
that
men such as we do not really discover or know anything extraordinary
--
not
anything that everyone else doesn’t already know,
and
that it is only us who are born with a feeling that we must engage in
some
supreme, near supernatural struggle to obtain the very knowledge that
everyone
else is quite aware of already, but that we are the only ones with
a
built in belief that this knowledge is of some great significance.
It
would be like everyone on the planet being born with the awareness that
dirt
is brown, but we believe that we alone have discovered this fact
--
and
that it is of extraordinary importance:
a
feeling reinforced somehow by the fact that no one else ever talks about
it,
or
if we bring up the subject their response is: ‘So?!’
All
I just noted fits perfectly the circumstances;
by
no measure can you say that what has been described is not possible
--
and
what should that fact be yelling in your inner ear?
Once
you experience the grand realization that even the grandest of understanding
you
gain could
be just the opposite of how you realized it, you my boy
have
finally stepped into what this unconventional cellular adventure is really
about:
the
private abandonment of merry go rounds.”
“For informational purposes?!”
“Gin!”

A
man who can fool himself can fool anyone else.
A
mind that can fool itself can fool anyone else.
Minds
fool men, not: men fool men.
A
man who is no longer fooled by his mind cannot be fooled about anything.
Most
men’s minds find it fun to be fooled (strictly in recreational settings
of course);
a
few men don’t care for this harmless pastime at all.
(“Ha
ha! -- can you spell: ‘sorehead’?”
“Yes, but I can also refrain from spelling anything that doesn’t exist
until it is spelled.”
“So
what’s the big deal in that!”)
________________
The
life of the certain man is only a big deal to him --
if
he tries to make it seem so to others -- it ceases to be so
to him.
(Can it get any
sweeter than that?!)

The
Alert Man’s Guide To Measuring.
Reality
-- universal;
criticism
-- local.
To
Calculating.
Reality
-- of some consequence;
criticism
-- forget about it!
The
most that can be truly said is a simple as possible statement of
how
things physically are;
the
least (but generally most entertaining) that can be said is everything
else.
What
makes men more interesting to themselves by far than any other animal
is
the fact that they can stray so far from physical reality;
in
this regard, all other creatures are -- Bor-ring!
Only
the certain man can find the brown of dirt fascinating (not to mention:
eye/I popping).
________________
The
right kind of man on a spree -- can’t be stopped;
certain
sprees can only be interrupted by the man who initiated them;
certain
super worthwhile sprees only exist through their initiation by
a
certain kind of man.
On
some mornings, hormones are found to not be running with the intensity
needed
to satisfy the certain man’s plans;
he
then, using neurons,
injects
an improbable octane boost to his nervous system fuel mix.
Ordinary
men are automatically fooled by their minds as a matter of course;
the
certain man, only though his own willful, specifically-aimed, effort
(which
raises it far from the category of mere foolery).
Motto:
Be a dunce, if you sometimes must, only on your OWN time.
________________
The
weak and sick get excited over the least of things;
the
rebel requires the grandiose (although he realizes that it is even simpler
than
the
trifles that enthuse everyone else).
Don’t
worry about: “The truth setting you free” -- dirt will,
in
fact for an even faster ride: look past it to the molecules.
Freedom
and reality are simple matters;
the
stupefying captivity of being ordinary minded is extremely complex &
demanding:
it
takes EFFORT, my friends; to maintain that dumb act.
(Routine men
came up with what they call: science fiction, and religion
while half heartedly
looking around for a release valve to the pressure of this façade.)
If
men could not pretend that one day dirt will become ambrosia,
then
everyone would be forced to face the facts as they are --
and
men would have never become chefs and created ambrosia.
(Thus
on one world are men-who-know-what’s-going-on known as: dirt
eaters
[an
intended insult to indicate their lack of imagination -- although
they are too busy
to
be insulted, trying to get through the dirt to the molecules.])
Slogan:
Knowledge does not open a man’s eyes/I’s
-- cells do;
________________
His
only way for the certain man to go where he wants to go --
is
by him going there --
whether
it’s possible or not.
(See, his secret
weapon is that he knows what the mind is up to.)
Conditions: The only ones worth noting
are the temporary.
________________
Lots
of people like to hear about the certain man –
damn
few want to be him.
________________
The
day immediately before man’s history started to be remembered,
the
horses on the carrousel were riding him.
________________
One
man constantly felt ill -- unless he made himself feel good;
everyone
is distracted and dense -- unless they make themselves focused
and alert.
________________
When
showing no sign of excitement, are the ordinary deemed dead;
and
without a very specific sort, the certain man knows
that
he is.
Axiom:
You have to construct your own dam --
AND
provide your own water to be held back by it.
Epigram:
What’s the point of being sick if you didn’t cause it.
On
one planet: those trying to get to the bottom of things are called:
The
Other Way Around boys.
The straight shot
is only hot
for those who put themselves in their own line of fire.
Fact:
If you only feel like you feel,
and
you only know what your thoughts and other men have said,
you
are you and nothing can be done about it.
No
matter how obvious it seems, remember the father’s comments,
and:
The
Other
Way Around
Boys.
