AS MANY SONGS AS THE CITY SINGS, THE CERTAIN MAN STILL NEVER HEARS THE ONE HE’S SEARCHING FOR THERE

Using The Original Score Since 1604

Shortly after life had established itself on this planet,
it looked at what it had done regarding the way thinking was set up to operate
in one of the creatures here, and decided that, “plain-&-to-the-point” was too abrupt
to get them going properly  --  and immediately set about, mucking with their minds.

Everything said in the city to city people about the city
must be explained beyond the original comment --
then that explanation must be further commented on  --
and to those comments, more explanations attached:
the chemical combustible activity of fuel needed to drive an engine in verbal form.
No thought or word concerning things in man’s mental-only world can motivate,
or sustain itself;
every word needs a helpmate;
every thought, a companion thought by which to compare it:
“To what useful end?” --  in ordinary life:
to the end of keeping man’s routine mental world running:
in the life of the rebel: to no end.
In light of his goal, no purpose is ever served to the certain man’s search
by the mind’s automatic comparing of ideas that the nervous system puts there;
thus does he discover that the only neural activity that produces the results he desires make comments with no additional explanations:
(this is where civilians got the idea for the proverb: “The truth speaks for itself”).

The chief meteorologist of the city's Neural Network made this prediction:
“There will be present conditions  --  followed by other conditions.”

In only exceptional lands is refusal-to-respond considered a proper response.
In everyday lands: if a man who understands what is going on
were to make public note thereof,
normal citizens would feel the info so plain and obvious as to be of no interest,
(but remember: life wills this in man).

The thing about thoughts is that they can go anywhere --  except that one place.

For the adult-entertainment crowd (and you know who you are  --  if not why),
here is an R-rated, stripped version of an old favorite:
The answer to everything is the answer to everything.
(Seldom, with more potential to excite, has an idea leapt from a verbal cake for the few.)

You can think about: the physical universe; the invisible relationships of humanity,
or about yourself.
("What an array of choices!  --  is this a great planet or what?!")

Men do not ordinarily speak from thought  --  but from duress  --  by life.

When there is nothing left to look forward to  --  whatever you look at can be attractive.

 "Do little-things actually mean a lot?"
        "Yes, to those with little minds, and to a man who knows what is going on."

One man notes: “I almost woke up to what is going on when,
after fifty years of using sugar and being convinced that nothing could replace it,
I became accustomed to an artificial sweetener within a couple of days.
That should say it all  --  to a man with all ears.”

The thoughts you have don’t mean anything --
unless they mean something to your nervous system below the brain’s consciousness.

Every single part of man’s other reality
is humans’ attempt to understand the unique essence of humans.
A son asked a father: “What is the actual distinction between
men trying to explain something   --  and wanting to understand it?”

Okay: so as not to leave out any under-agers:
here is the Triple X version of a previous story:
The answer to anything is also the answer to everything else.

At first pass it seems you can affect what you think  --  but not how you feel --
yet how you feel determines what you think.
("Is this a shitty [I mean] a neat arrangement or what?!")

Everyone who is talented will turn out to be multi talented  --
IF they do not take their primary one too personally.

Hormones, Neurons And The Times In Which They Live.

                                                           Thinkers and do-ers,
                                                           dreamers and rue-ers.

For sixty years one warrior fought thought, only to eventually be confronted by feeling;
even when neurons have had their ass kicked  --  hormones will still be standing.
When drought strikes a land, even the philosophers’ minds become parched.
Neurons live in time  --  hormones, in eternity (along with their friends, atoms).
One man says: “It would all be different if thoughts had physical substance
as do hormones,” (he admits he is not sure exactly how everything would be different, but is nonetheless certain that it would be).
Neurons that know what they’re doing don’t want to know
some things about hormones (one thing, at least).
At one level: religion’s whole point is: “You can do better.”
Hormones and neurons can have persisting problems  --
but one of the cases is a hoax --
perpetrated by which?  --   is an interesting question.
The thing about thoughts is that they think anything  --  except that one thing.

When the ruler/mind has nothing more to dream of for the future  --
time in the kingdom  --  stops.

Everything that life does must matter to it,
the question is (especially regarding thought):
does any particular part thereof actually matter to you personally?

The fires that light-men’s-souls also drive their turbines.

In Re: Speculative Thought.
All thought is speculative  --
that is its nature because  --   that is its purpose;
men are confused from not realizing this.
