Reporting On The Real Sport Of Kings Since 1724

If billiards is a game of connected decisions then trying to understand what is going on without understanding your examining instrument and desire to
understand what is going on is a sport of staring at your un shined shoes.

The father of a family new to this planet,
after a quick survey of how he observed things to be done, told a son:
“I have determined that the best approach here is:
If another human disagrees with your ideas you should kill him,”
and the lad said: “Are you sure of that?”
and the elder replied: “Well, even if I’m wrong, who’ll be eventually left to complain.”

Some years later when the two would get together
at times when the son’s normally flaccid mind would be standing erect,
the old man’s current girl friend would glance at him, then say:
“Are you two that glad to see one another,
or is that just a non partisan propelled protrusion in his neural pocket?”
Forget about male-enhancement-drugs  --  taking no sides in no-sense-squabbles
will add all the length and girth a real man will ever need.
“Hey man! --  get your head out of your pants  --   or vice versa even,”
and yet another cause of the certain man’s unorthodox dress.
“I assume, ‘dress’ is being used symbolically.”
The truly amazing feature of the mind is that in matters to it unique  --
any assumption it may make will in its skies fly.

Question: Strong-starts suggest what sort of finish?

In man’s intangible system of justice:
there is an electrifying dance between the judge and the accused
that only the rebel eye can see.

A kid handed his old man his latest literary gruntwrapper titled:
“The Rhyme Of The Ancient Marinater,” which opened thus:
“Were it not for the total soaking of me split brain:
                                    I could not walk,
                                    I could not sail,
                                    I could not plot a course or ever hold a spoon;
were it not for the complete pickling of me split brain:
I could not see, nor speak wisely while in the dark...”
and at this point the father dropped the manuscript and left the room.

Question: Strong-starts portend  what type of finish?

One man began refusing to recognize-his-inferiors  --
which proved to require almost no effort.

One man has a guy who follows him everywhere  --
endlessly describing everything the man does  --   like a play-by-play of his entire life.

An infinite energy is available in conflicts over cultural facts
due to the fact that none of those involved can ever conclusively qualify theirs.
(Nuclear power plants are amateurs compared to religious wrangling.)

Question: Strong-starts almost guarantee what sort of finish?  --  also:
Why is man’s mind primed to automatically accept there being
a describable connection between what it conceives to be
the commencement and conclusion of some piece of intangible business
which it has verbally sectioned off from reality’s seamless whole?
(Hint: there is a dam good reason,
but those still living down river where they were born can never take in the enormity  of the incorporeal lake backed up just above their head  --  IN their head.
[“I assume again that the words here: ‘dam, river and lake’
are meant other than literally.”])

Rewind Time.
One man began refusing to, recognize-his-inferiors  --
which, when he turned this on himself,
proved to require no effort at all (other than remembering to do it  of course  --
of damn-course like everything else profitable for the rebel to do).

There was once a man who had spent his life in the sincere struggle to:
Wake-up from man’s routine mental dream;
to acquire The Enlightenment that answers all questions,
who finally one day suddenly thought: “You know:
I’d settle for just having a good memory.”

Simple people avoid simple answers whenever possible.
(The simpler  --  the possiblier.)

If there is something you sometimes feel you have had for a really long time  --
you may have had it too long.

Interesting And Unnoticed Fact.
No one is famous unless you think they are.
(“Okay!  --  what in the world does this have to do with a man’s search for
life’s secrets?!”)

It is (to engage in inverted hyperbole) highly unlikely
that you can live in the city without believing that mirrors take sides, and play favorites,
(thus out in rebel camp, the certain man knows not what he looks like,
“And I’m guessing again that: ‘looks like’ refers to something other than
physical appearance, right?!”)

Addendum To A Previous Item.
The certain man’s private reminder to himself to: “Keep it simple,”
represents unseen action he takes that is much more than the words convey.

One More SupplementTo A Story.
If there is something you sometimes feel you have had for a really long time  --
and you are the certain man  --
you HAVE had it too long.

Late Breaking Historical News.
The more that you lived a long time ago,
the more acceptable it is to have a ridiculous name and talk funny.

Reminder: As always (for a man to-this-game-born): all of the above is equally true, reversed.
