Fact:
Great challenges can bring out great passions in men --
and
in small men, petty ones.
Fact:
All challenges concerning second reality matters result in the latter,
but
is that not understandable: is it not embarrassing to get yourself all
worked up
in
a verbal huff, trying to surmount a grand mountain when you and everyone
else silently knows there’s nothing there where you’re struggling;
this
is why the serious work done by the brain’s consciousness concerning
physical
reality is called technology
(useful), and all of its other thinking about
man’s
other intangible reality of culture & the spirit is known as
entertainment;
Mankind
collectively is not wired and programmed to make a
continuing
distinction between the two, thus are trifling challenges
that
exist only in the made up world of man’s recreational thoughts and words
confused with great ones (challenges that are literally meaningful to his
survival).
“But
Pa pa: doesn’t the non essential, cultural part of man’s mind also need
to survive for a man to be civilized and complete, in the ordinary sense
of the term?”
“Yes,
but those of our special genetic lineage who are driven to get to the bottom
of all things incorporeal cannot allow our thoughts to commingle (let us
say)
an
enjoyment of music with the sound of an approaching tornado;
you
make way for things that can touch you --
with
those that cannot, there is nothing to avoid:
it
is the symbolic story of the comparison between: hormones and neurons;
the
defining coda ‘twixt the 99.9999% of humanity who, as dictated by their
genes,
are
commonly made to claim (in a particular situation)
an
importance to ideas over physical substance,
religious
and philosophical martyrdom being the obvious, visible manifestations,
but
truth is: this occurs unseen, constantly within individual men’s minds;
their
thoughts pay abstract homage to things metaphysical
in
preference to
the physical;
such
being prime evidence that a man is civilized and cultured,
that
(at least in his mind’s own theory): he would die for an ideal;
such
a death, or even its threat, produces no extraordinary insight in a man,
that
would come from his unencumbered realization of the purpose this situation
truly
serves in man’s mind;
you
do not jump aboard a runaway train to understand it.”
“I’m
going to see if the dog is still in the yard.”
“Good
move.”

The
Special Thing About Warnings.
Some
people take them seriously and some do not;
some
seem to need them and some do not;
those
who believe that warnings serve a useful purpose
are
in grave danger like they can’t begin to imagine,
(speaking
of course from the .00001 per center’s perspective).
The
man on the trail through the hazy pale soon discovers privately, the need
to: always-be-on-guard
-- but only he knows, regarding what
--
and
it is not some public threat.
Thus
it be (from yet another inner angle) that no one can tell the certain man
what
he should be doing to accomplish the Great
Task:
all
such conversational attempts are but meaningless warnings,
intended
to keep cows close to the herd -- men near to civilization:
an
internal residence requiring no individual upkeep.
(He-who-knows
is like the ultimate handy-man
-- a real, fixer-upper.)

The
only way ordinary men-&-minds have to judge their progress in improving-themselves
is by the judgment of others:
a
hippo believing he can fly if other hippos tell him how good he looks on
the wing -- sounds foolish -- but you mentally
live everyday in the midst of such.
There
is no doubt that those with an interest in matters men call: metaphysical,
spiritual, or deeply philosophical, find them as enjoyable as do music
lovers, music,
or
sports fans the games,
but
the mental pleasure naturally derived therefrom will never result in
the
transcendental understanding which they all state as their goal:
what
starts as entertainment must be made technology –
to
succeed, what is pleasurable and fascinating must be investigated,
something
unnatural in the conventional realm;
if
an ordinary man and an ordinary mind enjoy a certain thing,
they
make no inquiries into the matter of their doing so:
if
you like non representational painting, you like non representational painting;
you
never ask why: you like it because you like it -- that’s why
(just
as you are you just because you’re you),
but
for the minority rebel determined to push through the fog and noise to
the far wall, his natural born mind’s natural born interests in matters
which exist only in a realm
that
mankind’s collective mind has conjured up and supports,
is
an ever present phenomena to be relentlessly investigated (viz):
“There
is nothing actually there to like -- so how do men like the
things there? --
or
put another way: Why do they pretend they do
as
though the things their minds speak of are actually there and real?”
Not
knowing what is going on is not the great challenge --
not
knowing why men never know is;
discover
why you’re stupid, and -- Viola!
-- you’re smart.

Bingo!
