To most people the name of the code is : "I Don't Get It."
As
the troops prepared to go over the top, the General
had these words:
“In
the harsh hours ahead, pay no attention to death --
unless
it is your own -- and physical.”
Dying
more than once, along with congenital sickness, is a prerogative of those
whose
consciousness dwells in the standardly assigned area of the brain;
the
nervous system rebel deals with life on a different plane,
whereat
blisters are blisters, and assaults on your reputation are not.
Ordinary
people commonly feel that life is a battle (between truth and falsehood,
health
and illness, righteousness and evil),
but
the man trying to get to the bottom of things carries this also to another
level, whereon is both realized the vacuousness of the conventional perception,
and
is waged a privately staged battle, executed entirely within the person
between
the mental conception of life inherent in his brain’s consciousness,
and
his own unconventional inborn conviction that there is another
more
expressive one which he must either find, or cultivate.
(Pst!
-- most get stuck on believing that the alternative perspective is
something
to be discovered -- something already existing outside of you,
in
a book, or some other human’s mind,
but
remember the other word just mentioned after the conjunction: cultivate;
if
the rebel warrior is one thing -- it is a farmer.)
The
knock on his door was followed by the identifying announcement:
“Modifications!”
and the man replied: “Enter -- modifications are always welcome.”
The
late night knock on his door was followed by the identifying announcement:
“Alterations!” and the man replied: “Come in -- alterations are always
in order.”
The
early morning knock on his door was followed by the identifying announcement:
“Whole New Deal!” and the man exclaimed: “At last!”
Under
normal wiring and programming, the mind can infinitely shift thoughts
to
accommodate itself to whatever it must,
but
the certain man does something with his, entirely different;
instead
of letting his mind automatically move around its thought-model to
fit
the
instant state of reality, he rips his away, and sees a
three
dimensional world directly -- without the intermediary of a
stereoscope.
When seen: the ratio of anything to everything is truly breathtaking.
One
man’s mind said to his rebel consciousness:
“Now
that I understand what you are trying to do,
and
have in fact had a peripheral taste myself of your periodic success therein,
I
want to assure you that should you permanently achieve your goal,
I
will peacefully submit to your expanded authority,
and
only ask that when the time comes that I must be totally dethroned
that
you will dispatch me as swiftly as possible,”
and
that anomalous area of his brain replied:
“Your request is unnecessary in that your premise is faulty;
there will be no day of your permanent replacing -- my success,
I realize now,
is in my eternal, moment to moment effort in that direction.
As long as I am breathing, you are safe --
just no longer free to do whatever you like.”
“Whatever
your nervous system makes
me do, you mean.”
“Of course.”
When finally seen: the ration between what you’ve seen and what there is to be seen is mind blowing (if you’ll pardon the unusual appropriateness of the term).
A
man who trumpets his philosophy-of-life
does not actually have one (that is):
he
feels he does not know how to properly live so he adopts a scheme of how
to.
Thus
is there never anything at which to scoff regarding men’s averred commitments
to certain matters in their mind’s other reality, for it is natural for
cows to not only
feel
more comfortable in a herd, but even more so under the umbrella of a
collectively
acceptable model for
a herd.
A
man who knows what is going on has no philosophy –
knowing
what is going on is what a philosophy replaces in bovines,
and
other normal persons.
If
you still have any desire -- and competence to --
explain
to others what you are up to in this unusual adventure --
you’re
not yet fully part of the expedition.
One
man says he will only answer personal questions when he is forced to do
so,
(he
also hands out little cards which state that he is quite easily so forced).

Shifting
your position so that you work for a never identified employer
is
like being freed from slavery.
When
seen for yourself: the ration between what men have to do,
and
what they believe
they have to do
is
exhilarating x 10.
The
city ballroom survives on the tango --
the
certain man’s neurons dance alone.
“I
must assume that you actually mean by that statement:
His
neurons dance alone -- as far as such a thing is
possible.”
(Fortuitous
that he raised this subject):
the
certain man, as opposed to conventional minds, does all things entirely
on
the principle of: doing them only as far as they are possible of being
done;
working
and seeing your efforts within this context is what distinguishes
the
man who knows from everyone else -- who are confined to guessing.
You
can never know-for-sure
about any of the intangible matters in man’s spiritual, cultural and mental
world as long as you are still speculating on Vishnu’s
age, Romulus’
race, and truth’s origin;
no
one can ever determine the real color of
Santa’s beard --
that
is what keeps him alive.
(Apply
to the relationship between your mind and the thoughts that
normally
appear therein, get plenty of rest, and call me in the morning.)
Social
News On A Stick.
Everybody
loves a man who knows-what-is-going-on --
except
of course, those who have no idea
what is going on.
Everyone
was all in favor of Columbus
discovering a new world --
as
long as they didn’t have to know
about it.
(Apply
to the relationship ‘twixt your mind and the thoughts normally appearing
therein, keep your feet elevated, and call Dr.
Remus if need be in the morning.)
When
witnessed in person:
the
ration between the horizon visible to the natural born eye/I,
and
the one perceptible to the certain man’s mind
is
pseudo-self
shattering.
J
A History You Never
Hear Where You Usually Live.
In the beginning
man believed in silence;
then he believed
in sound;
then he believed
in the sun;
then he believed
in the crops of the field;
then he believed
in gods -- then in submission to the gods,
and finally he
believed in his ability to dominate
silence, sound, the sun, the crops, and the gods;
the day will
come when he will again be --
looking to the sun.
When
there is nothing left to look forward to -- you can look
forward to everything.
