THE SOUNDS FROM THE CITY'S INFRASTRUCTURE CONTINUE TO ELUDE STRINGENT IN-TOWN INTERPRETATION

Amidst all the palaver at the bar, one man, as he partook of his pilsner
proclaimed to his fellow quaffers and philosophical companions:
“A man who has never confronted death has never fully experienced life,”
and the barkeep mused: “From that perspective:
a man in my position should then be well acquainted with extreme intelligence.”

Mind came up with the psychological aberration: Obsessive Compulsive Behavior, (described as caused by: “obtrusive ideas that come in your mind against your will”)
to distract men’s attention from their normal mental condition.

The foremost requirement to serve as an expert in any non technical, cultural matter

is the ability to state what is obvious to anyone in a tone that still somehow
conveys a sense of  surprising insight and seasoned authority.
(This is also how your own routine thoughts maintain their position in your head.)

Men generally treat the ideas that come in over the wire services in their head

as have reporters historically, fascinating tales which may not bear much scrutiny,
called by insiders: Stories too good to check.

Heads Up!
Mind will tell you ANYTHING!  --  if that’s what you want to hear.
(If you find that too harsh, substitute “life” for “mind” [but it still comes out the same.])

After hearing repeated once again the well used collective human expression:
“We shall all hang together, or we shall surely hang separately,” one man
suddenly thought: “Would not the ultimate solution be to simply kill the hangman?!”
“Pa pa: is it reasonable amongst our kin to assume that this story has more to do with mental problems and solutions than with physical executions?!”

Re The Appropriate Fluency Of Hormones & Neurons.
The eloquence of grief  --  tears,
of stupidity  --  speech,
(ergo would be the eloquence of understanding, too obvious to deserve mentioning.)

On top of every hill is another hill,
and though this process has no end, if carried far enough by an alert mind  --
the specious significance of the hills will fess up and fade into the neural mist.

   The unimportant can only be important in mental newsrooms
   which treat unimportant stories as newsworthy.

      When some current idea in the public marketplace is causing ordinary men
      to bite their nails  --   the certain man is biting the idea.

A man who believed that his thoughts came either from his mind or his body
was startled when he heard it said that they came from his molecules.
Normally civilized minds are not wired up to favorably look at themselves
under anything resembling a scientific light;
their view is: you examine chemistry, scientifically;
you examine culture --  gingerly;
the elements will withstand harsh scrutiny  --  the arts, not;
no one involved is interested in why this is true  --  they simply accept it.

There are things that will kill you before death,
but ordinary minds do not know what they are, nor do they really want to know  --
that is why they concocted religions: something to keep them busy, speculating.

As concerns all matters in mind’s other reality:
all statements-of-fact are in fact  --  questions;
of things incorporeal, nothing conclusive can be said,
(well.......other than the obvious).

If you can’t hear the surprise when it comes  --  you can’t BE surprised.    SURPRISE!

For the few, the true beauty of thought in the survey of man is in its ability to embrace how things are, and not just how the majority’s thoughts say they should be.
(Once you personally recognize them,
the seven dwarfs cease promoting their theory of little people predestination.)

As long as a man believes that his mind can find solutions to intangible problems  --
he will have problems.
The radical divide between the knight and villagers is that he can only be harmed by boars and bulls while they can be repetitively slain by dragons.
For full understanding of an engine --  get down to the pistons and camshaft;
for full understanding of man’s spiritual and cultural self  --
get down to the pistons and camshaft.

If what you are studying, you can’t set on a work bench  --
you’re studying the shadow of the wind.
