Ordinary thoughts are to the background-canvas of the mind as bas-reliefs,
while the certain man wants his to be free standing objects.

When watching television, the benefit of having a radio playing in another room is  --  well, the benefit is obvious.

Kings build magnificent palaces from the same uncertainty that drives neurons to construct the mind’s concept of a man’s “I”.

While things in the city may not be as they appear,
that doesn’t stop them from looking like they do.

Men who speak as though they are mightily impressed with themselves
are anything but.

Actors talking about behind-the-scenes activity in the making of a movie
(noting tricks of their so-called, art) is almost as exciting as hearing your thoughts
tell why the conclusions they have come to are the correct ones.

A.I., V.R. And Other Stuff.
The awakened man knows that you do not need computers nor Artificial Intelligence
to produce Virtual Reality,
man’s own, everyday artificial intelligence is already producing it nicely, no?!

Some Unofficial NASA News.
‘Tis rumored that the expansive mental density of a man in northern China
is the only thing on Earth visible from space.

One man began to laugh when he would think about a certain matter,
and the first few times this occurred he said to himself: “That’s funny,”
then quickly realized that it was not funny  --  it just made him laugh.

How Things Work Out Is Always In The Timing.
Believing that something won’t work will sometimes keep the thing from working, but  the belief itself doesn’t work all the time.

People enjoy horror movies and stories for the same reason their nervous system feeds such thoughts to their mind.
    “Which is?”
Ask your nervous system.
The girlfriend of the disturbed man said to him:
“If you really loved me, you’d turn yourself in.”
   “To what?”

Conversation Number Forty One.
“Analyzing world politics is the same as analyzing a baseball game.”
“You mean the latter can be seen as a metaphor for the  former.”
“No metaphor  --  they’re the same thing.”

City intellectuals and social-critics denounce advertising for making people believe,
for instance, that how you look is more important than who you are inside,
blame for which plainly rests on human nature, which no one in the city
takes into account in their attempted accounting for how men live.

The best feature of having an announcer describing in words
the game you are watching with your eyes on television
is that your not paying attention thereto can be doubled  --
(and applied to the game going on in your mind  --  double even this benefit!)

Under city circumstances : a man who cannot breathe cannot think,
while out with the rebels: a man who cannot think cannot breathe.
A son asked a father: “With the certain man, are things always upside down?” –
and the boy had to stand on his head to make sense of the elder’s reply.

Art & Athletic News Combined.
Interviewing athletes is like fighting poets.

Those who send no mail receive no mail,
same as those who send no thought (to their self) receive none.
(Reflected in one man’s private motto:
“Better attacked by a hundred ducks than one elephant.”)

One man’s advice:
“You handle a child who will not mind you by slapping the shit out of them  --
same way you treat unruly ideas in your mind.”

Re Acquisitions In The City.
The good thing about getting a part for a piece of equipment from a place
that doesn’t specialize in such is that you might get the right part.

Roadside shrines to dead motorists are metaphors for the abandoned bumps,
and pot holes in a rebel’s neural network.

If your mind isn’t seeing the situation (whatever it is) as a case of: me vs them --  you’re not in the city frame of mind.

Said a father to a son:
“If you can explain what is going on to an ordinary man and he understands it  --
you don’t.”
    “Is that truly true?”
“Enough so to be useful.”

How The Verbal Reality In Which City Minds Live
Differs From The Operational One.
When receiving honors men commonly say they are, humbled  by it
whereas just the opposite has occurred, or they would not have even mentioned it.

This story just in from our City Desk.
All financial advisors know how to keep from being swindled
immediately after the latest investment scandal......no, that should be:
“all minds know how to keep from being,” etc.     (Sorry about the momentary misspeak.)

The boon in never leaving your room is  --  well,
that’s too obvious to even go into, now isn’t it.
