IN THE REALM OF RELEVANCE
MEMORY LEAVES NO RESIDUE

Looking up from a history book, a lad asked his dad:
“Why it is so common to find royalty having reserved for themselves
the exclusive use of certain names, color, and even foods?” and the elder replied:
“That my boy is because all the visible big-deals of the world know well enough
that they are not big-deals at all, and must try to distinguish themselves from
the ordinary any way they can.”
(He later encouraged the younger to look for how his natural occurring thoughts
play a like hand in their ploy to appear worthy of a preeminent position
in their own mental domain.)
In the animal/physical kingdom: those end up in command
who the survival of the species need to have in command,
and in man’s intangible realm, a similar situation prevails, but it is not
(as is accepted to be by those who follow) determined by a leader’s neural intelligence;
rats may trail after a piper, but not because of the music.
In spite of humanity's firmly embedded belief to the contrary:
men are not moved by ideas;
they do not do battle for any "ism"  --  political or religious;
rats bite because of their nature  --  not their ideologies.
A man who never comes to realize the nature of nature
will never recognize the nature of that thing within him called mind,
which purports to do all of man’s realizing.

In the specialized spectrum of our uncommon interest:
being ignorant is not the real problem  --
not understanding what conventional thought thinks ignorance to BE  --
that my boy is the frog strangler.
All in all (whenever your thoughts drift to themselves) just remind yourself:
in your head (same as in physical life) --  only phonies believe that they are big deals.”

As a personal acknowledgment of the power of the environment, one man,
every morning would breath deeply the air,
look at the rising sun, raise his arms in mock surrender, and loudly declare:
“Okay!  --  I’m impacted!  --  I’m impacted!”
Little to no idea do oceanologists have of the influence sardines exert on whales,
or whales on water;
if a betable battle ever became visible ‘tween life and the universe,
each man would put his money where his greatest fear is,
[the unstated question being]:
do you dread least being killed in the flesh and buried in the ground,
or rendered inert in the mind and being confined to darkness while still upright?
What might possibly bother a man who realizes what is going on with life,
might be that which is ultimately UN realizable [which introduces another query]:
are you really disturbed if you do not know what is causing your disturbance?  --
are you actually ignorant if you do not fully understand the essence of
what men call, ignorance?  --   which drove a son to ask a father:
“So: is that saying that.....”    --     “Yes.”

One man notes: “A nice thing about never leaving your house is that it then becomes irrelevant that you never moved to the south of France like you used to dream of”......   (substantial pause).....”Same thing mentally
with never thinking anything outside your normal perimeters.”

Yes, niends and frabors  --  torpidity can really mean a lot in a person’s life  --
IF they know just how to play it!

Listening to someone speak and letting your thoughts trail along after their words
is like frantically tap dancing to music you never hear.
 “Pa pa, when I grow up can I trip the light fantastic?”
      “The heavy would be preferable   --   (more in keeping with our family tradition).”

And a man once mused to himself: “If I could hold a single thought constantly in my mind, would I then be more-conscious  --  or just single-minded?”  --
and after several seconds of silence in his head, he noted:
“I do so enjoy what happens when I do not immediately respond to such questions.”

In the private land of rebels, the premier acrobat is one who is forever off-balance  -- (makes no sense whatever in the routine world, but: O how sweet in that special one).

From Our Meteorological Department: More News Concerning Conditions
If you believe that life can be unfair, and is getting worse --
you are not a man  --  you are a weather vane,
and one chap has a business card that reads:
                                                       “The brain’s an orange,
                                                         the mind’s a juicer  --
                                                         what line of work are you in?”

Horticultural News
The future of grapes is not to be discovered in a vineyard  --  or:
guess what those who examine their minds with
the thoughts that naturally appear therein
are ever going to learn?

In a city bar, after a few good belts & suspenders, one fellow proposed:
“Some things are meant to be seen;
other things meant to be heard,
but naught in man’s intellectual world is subject to be smelt;
mind is normally unable to detect the clear, crisp aroma of bullshit,”
and a man sitting in a booth mused:
“Why is it so easy to point out the apparent, often astounding folly of the mind
while nothing similar exists in any other facet of man’s being?” --
and after a few sips of his own, further reflected:  “Should that fact alone
be telling me something about the nature of thought I am currently not seeing?”

The Three Pillars Of Regular Men’s Lives:
G.D.  --   G.L.  --   G.L.  --   get drunk, get loud, get laid.

Everyone is born with the seed of a mythical quest in their pocket, but the normally wired mind so surrounds it and chokes it  --
but why just whine and feel sad  --  why not investigate whether that is necessarily the absolute end of the matter.
And as they were rehearsing, one of the acrobats accidentally got it right and the whole thing blew up on the rest of them.
“Pa pa; is he talking about that inner circus constantly practicing in every man’s mind?”

The Three Traits Of A Routine Tumbler’s Mental Condition:
D.D.D.  --  dazed, dumb, distracted.

The Never Stated Foundation Of The Rebel:
G.A.G  --   G.A.G.  --   G.A.G.  --  get a grip, get a grip, get a grip.
(A few have a variation: “Get a grip, get a grip  --  take a trip.”)
 And on this one planet,
those who know-the-secret-of-life can ride the local buses & conditions at half price (once they’re sixty-five.........or sufficiently dead).

Another Look-In On The: History Of History
There are two types of history:
that of the civilized, and savage, which is written, told, or otherwise recorded,
and then the history of the man who knows.

Another Day  --  Another View: How’s By Him?  --  How’s By You?

One principal purpose of human speech is to make men feel immortal  --
another reason that the man who knows keeps no record of himself;
to such a person  --   history equals blindness.
