If
there were some pristinely sane, and stone-cold keen-eyed
amongst
humanity’s ipse
dixit philosophers,
mystics and psychologists,
they
would not allow their mental investigatory powers to be squandered
in
the pursuit of the arcane and scientific arts;
a
man with the native interest in getting to the bottom of things, and the
necessary neural stability to prosecute same, needs no ancient metaphysical
tomes,
nor
contemporary psychological syllabi as reference material,
he
is inescapably awash in everyday activity any one example of which, if
studied
down to its core would, by itself, lay bare the trick linchpin that holds
together
both
the singularity of the human experience, and man’s mental concept
thereof.
Dilettantes
in this matter are entertained-by, and satisfied-with
reading
and thinking about the surely transcendental significance of the
fact that
if
you multiply the height of the Great Pyramid by a certain number
it
will equal the distance to Venus,
or
that if you ask enough people who say they feel depressed
if
they had problems with their mother, a statistical pattern will emerge,
or
that there is an endless supply of personally-vouched-for anecdotes
attesting
to the common appearance in men’s lives of supernatural forces,
but
the man born with that certain hunger soon knows by feeling in his marrow
that
such things are but wispy smoke of some unknown fire;
the
mind’s quite crudely conceived images of something it has never actually
seen,
and
his focus is turned elsewhere: to the mundane life all around and in him
–
the
piece missing to make mortal mischief make sense is to be found
not
in what men (great and small) have said is going on with life, but in the
private
survey of what men say they are doing, vis a vis what IS clearly occurring,
and
there is a delicious example from an embarrassingly bountiful selection:
a
far reaching actuality, as obvious as can be,
which
normal men aren’t allowed to acknowledge,
but
one after which you see it fully for yourself -- nothing
is ever the same;
your
personal reality, and mental perception of life are forever altered (and
it is this):
in the physical world -- you can make problems go away;
in the intangible one -- you can only create them.
Via
the mind, gigantic problems in the physical world can be done away with:
a
river which regularly floods an area in which men want to live can be diverted
therefrom by the mind’s ability to first picture in its unique realm how
such an extraordinary thing could be accomplished, and then to direct men's
muscles
in
the correct execution of the plan;
men
have, by virtue of their thinking, achieved equally astounding results
in
diverting
from them, deadly diseases;
there
may be no limit to the mind’s ability to make things which men find to
be problems in the physical world -- go away, (in thumbnail,
a defining of civilization).
Man
lives not only IN a physical world, but in a non physical one as well;
indeed,
the more civilized you are --
the
more does your individual sense of you
live therein;
it
is an intangible realm that originates and exists solely in man’s brain
(though
through his construction of material monuments motivated thereby [cathedrals,
courthouses, colleges, museums etc.]
he
unanalytically speaks as if it is otherwise),
and
an absolutely distinguishing mark of this unique sphere is that therein
men
also find what they adjudge to be problems,
but
problems here cannot be done away with -- all you can do is create
more of them.
As
always the situation in this special investigation:
99.99999%
of humanity is not programmed to mentally see it thus,
but
in fact to the contrary:
quite
soon after the arrival of thought in the brain, and men’s realization of
its amazing ability to make problems in the physical world go away,
they
“discovered” (in quotation marks, or: their-thoughts-created,
without the marks) problems IN their intangible world
(‘tis
only after men have arranged things in the physical to have a dependable
food supply that they develop a spiritual/mental life, and immediately
upon its appearance, find it to be full of heretofore unknown,
problems).
Men
now say they have problems that afflict their soul;
trouble
their mind, disturb their spirit, and so on;
beset
by problems which exist not outside of them in the physical world
--
but
IN them, in non physical places.
The
mind operates however, as though there is no radical difference between
these two types of problems;
mind
speaks as though the problems it experiences in its domain,
it
can do away with same as how it has dispatched those in the physical one.
There
can be no grander example of the lives men’s minds say they lead in their
intangible world, and the clearly observable reality of what actually goes
on there.
Upon
the discovery that they had problems in their mental/spiritual world, men’s
minds were able to instantly come up with ostensible methods to do away
with them:
applications
to gods; consultations with priests;
counseling
from psychiatrists, the advice of friends, and the wisdom-of-the-ages,
all
amounting to the same thing:
that
talking and thinking about intangible problems can make them go away
(well
you plainly cannot do so with them physically as you did a flooding river
with
a dam, or an appendicitis by an appendectomy:
physical
problems are expelled by physical action --
non
physical problems by non physical means).
All
standard humans by nature have thoughts that say, incontrovertibly,
that
the physically untouchable problems they find in their inner world
CAN
be eradicated (just not in the same manner as those in the physical);
all
normal people say this, and insist they believe it, and know it to be so
from
theirs and humanity’s collective experience;
their
minds are made to say this in unhideable contradiction of five thousand
years of evidentiary history, and the plain facts as they still are at
every second.
No
thought or word has ever done away with an intangible problem;
no
type of counseling, no amount of reflection has or will ever accomplish
same,
yet
every ordinary human on this planet will
reflexively
and firmly dismiss such a notion as insane;
every
normal, sane mind meandering this orb knows
absolutely
that
through
either professional counseling, private conversations, or personal reflection,
the problems men experience non physically inside themselves
can
be done away with,
indeed
to insist that no such thing is remotely possible would be a salient sign
of
one’s
mental abnormality;
man
collectively is clearly programmed and intended to perceive it thus
(and
as always: in the land of turkeys, gobbles are The
Truth).
Howsomever:
a point, quad-zero per-center
has a nervous system
whose
genetic programming somehow allows him to see this matter from a
totally
different perspective (which is to say:
to
see what it is compared to what everyone else SAYS it is);
a
man with unnaturally focused mental eyes/I’s
-- with no great effort --
realizes
that the intangible problems unique to man can not be done away with
--
they
can only be created;
you
cannot destroy intangible problems -- you can only create more,
and
their number is added to by the very methods everyone else says
diminishes
them -- thinking and
talking about them.
The
larger and more complex a problem in the physical world,
the
greater may be the thought and discussion required to do away with it,
but
all thought and discussion of problems in the intangible world
does
nothing but create new problems;
there
is nowhere in the realm of the mind to which a problem can be permanently
expelled (no place in The Grimm World
to which Rapunzel
can be exiled).
By
birth, man’s mind is given no choice but to say that the problems it “finds”
within
its world can be done away with,
and
in one verbal/mental sense, by so saying -- it IS so --
whether it BE so or not,
(remembering
that what sayeth a turkey in gobblerland is incontrovertible);
ordinary
men indelibly believe that their intangible problems can be banished,
and
in that (substantially speaking), the problems do not actually exist
to begin with -- how can they be determined to have NOT been
so proscribed?!
(as
with mind in regard to all matters exclusive to its domain,
it
is always a: win/win affair).
This
being man’s norm -- no harm of any sort comes to him
there through;
the
thoughts that effortless and magically appear in his brain declare that
the problems they find therein can be done away with --
all
normal men accept and repeat this idea,
and
trains continue to run, teams still play,
and
medical diagnostic technology a tempo improves;
the
factual speciousness of the situation bothers no one, save the certain
man --
none
even notice but him,
and
(as always) his cure is as close to hand as his fingers:
the
head-on recognition of what is actually going on, totally apart from
what
everyone’s mind (including his natural born one) SAYS is going on.
Until
you personally see it for yourself in the privacy of your own head,
you
have no conception of how many confusing areas of mortal existence
are
instantly cleared and explained by just the realization that:
in the physical world -- you can make problems go away;
in the intangible one -- you can only create them;
if you understand this -- there will be nothing left that you do not.
J
There
is but one thing that can entertain a man who knows: his
own thoughts.
