 WHILE THE CAULDRON COOKS,
 CONVENTIONAL EYES SEE
 ONLY THE STEAM

In that ordinary men’s thinking does not explore the extended reaches of
mind’s potential  --  it is not bothered by its lack of doing so  --  or:
unless you visit Shangri La you are not disturbed by your never going there  --  or:
if you are not aware that a thing exists  --  you’re not pissed over not having it
(by the by: this is the key to a previous item that said:
Everyone is in on the con except the man trying to awaken).

At night, under ordinary conditions, while your mind dreams --
you have no real time awareness that it is doing so;
the dreams are the full extent of  its instant reality,
and no one standing by your bed speaking to you can make you aware of this
(not without physically awakening you from your sleep)  --
same too exactly is man’s routine, day time state of mind
(save as always for our interest, when engaged in survival related problem solving);
under civilized, non threatening circumstances, when your thoughts wander about
in the realm of culture, and not technology,
weighing, pondering, discussing matters which exist solely in the intangible world of the mind, and not in the material one,
describing the mind as dreaming is not inappropriate  --  but more over,
(and the feature everyday minds fail to grasp in this regard) is the fact that they normally have no idea whatsoever THAT they so dream  --  or:
that the mind dreams in the day time is not the problem as much as is the fact that
it is not aware that it does.

In night time sleep, if conditions are not standard, and the dream in the mind
turns unbearable, mind will become aware that it is just dreaming,
and the brain will arouse itself (and you) from your slumber to regroup –
but there is no such parallel normal in man’s day time life,
but ordinary men and their minds being unaware of its absence --
they are not bothered thereby;
only the certain man whose thinking has the ability to be active beyond the area
that constitutes humanity’s collective state of mind
is able to see the general dream in which men’s non essential thoughts normally live,
and from this perspective only is a man  --  can a man be  --  critically unsettled;
only by knowing that you’re missing something can you miss it,
and only men with thoughts that go into areas outside the mental activity
normal for humanity as a whole know that under all routine conditions,
their mind dreams  --  it does not think  --
it dreams, and that any time they forget this, their own thinking is instantly snapped back to the confines of the Great Conversation, and the totality of their mental life consists again of a dream.

They alone, of all men, have an objectively based cause of complaint
regarding their mind;
when ordinary men complain about their mental life, they complain about meaningless dreams without ever realizing they refer to dreams
(worst case: they go crazy or into counseling);
the certain man with the certain nervous system talent takes a different course:
he attempts to abandon the home base in the mind into which his thinking was born, and is confined, and to live permanently in the fresh reaches outside
the normal (and to him, meaningless) area in which the so-called,
thinking of the rest of humanity occurs.

When the reality of what is herein being pictured in words,
through your own experience, hits you fully,
you understand that it is not criticism to say that:
the minds of ordinary men do not think;
when your thoughts can extend beyond the standard city limits of mortal mentation,
it is merely a case of the obvious: ordinary men do not think  --
the conscious area of their brains are automatically fed minute portions of
humanity’s collective mind and endless conversation.
No one believes that the sounds they hear from a radio originate there  --  yet...........

One man thought: “I constantly feel under a great deal of pressure to do something  --  but I am not sure what?!?”

A man who did not enjoy killing the bugs he found in his house
would frequently say as he dispatched them: “Well I didn’t tell you to come in here” --
then one day suddenly thought that they could reply:
“Well I am not the one who decided for me to do so.”

When you realize what is going on, no one shoulders the final responsibility
(unless you want to count the silent bosom of the unfeeling universe itself).

In the physical realm:
only those with the upper hand can say they have the upper hand;
in man’s intangible world: only they have the upper hand who say that they do,
(and they don’t really  --
but everyone lets it slide since they don't know what else to do.)

One man enjoys periodically imagining that some years back he had a brain tumor,
and lapsed into a permanent non conscious state,
and thus for all this time he has not been metaphysically asleep-in-a-dream,
but just in a coma.
(Oh yeah, when leaving he confided that he doesn’t really enjoy thinking this,
but does it any way.)

The best description of the rebel's real-thinking is:
thinking, at whose core is always the burning interest in what thinking really is.

No one is bothered by the scam except the man scrambling to awaken.
