AND ALEXANDER ASKS:
“IS THIS ALL THERE IS?”

A father said to a son:
“What do you call someone with all the life sucked out of their body,
but still walking around?    --     a zombie,
and what do you call someone with all the life sucked out of their mind,
but it still running?      --------      ordinary  --
ordinary, derivative, predictable  --  and completely unmindful of their thoughts.

While a zombie physically appears to be alive, he in fact is not,
but is an insensitive shell being driven by an outside mechanical force;
so too does an ordinary man’s mind seem to be engaged in conscious activity
while not actually being so  --
its movement also being totally dependent on a mechanical force beyond itself.

This is no assault on normal human mentation  --
it does what it does, and is obviously doing what it is intended to do,
but it has the ability to define, thinking as an activity in which
it does not actually engage yet lacks the capacity to see it does not;
this situation is unique in the universe, and for it, there be no perfect metaphor –
close would be a man able to describe accurately, how to swim, yet cannot himself;
in the water, he cannot swim  --  yet he does not drown  --
‘tis though his ability to describe what swimming is, keeps him afloat;
so even though he literally cannot swim  --  not by his own definition of swimming  --  something “similar” occurs in his not sinking.
And there is the additional facet of him being unable to mentally comprehend the fact that he cannot swim;
if he is told he cannot, from his position floundering in the water he replies:
‘Am I drowned?  Is not my responding to your comment proof I am afloat?!’
What goes on automatically in the part of man’s brain that his brain calls, thinking neither actually swims (thinks), nor sinks
(not thinks in a manner that normal thoughts can comprehend);
ordinary thoughts cannot tell whether they are actually thinking,
or if something is just happening in the brain that says they are thinking;
if the gasoline fueling an automobile is 87 octane, but tells the engine it is 98,
as long as the engine is being run by that particular fuel it will have no choice
but to believe, and say (if asked) that it is a '98 octane driven motor'  --
men’s minds are told by the neural energy running them that they think,
and are fed a definition of thinking which they repeat as being their own,
and in these standard mortal circumstances, every normal man believes he is thinking, because the activity occurring in his brain that he calls thinking, tells him that he is --  but my boy  --   the certain man KNOWS otherwise  --
through his own non standard version of thinking, he knows
something about thinking that ordinary men do not know,
and apparently are literally unable to grasp (simply that):
there is no thinking  going on in men's lives;
there is an activity resembling thinking  --
something that somehow keeps men from actually being in a state of non-thinking,
but they do not actually swim --  yet do not fatally drown;
maybe say: a mental zombie --
not fully alive  --  not fully dead –
something entirely unique  --  the something, man.

As you know by now, my boy, I do not say such things as these from a
personal perspective of believing I am superior to others,
that I am smart and they are stupid;
there are multitudes of people who know more about a multitude of subjects than I do, but my natural-born mind works same as theirs so I have the basis for a totally precise comparison between that and the completely different thinking operation
possible for people of our ilk;
from my own closely examined experience I know exactly what thinking is
in humanity’s ordinary conception and experience thereof,
and unlike almost everyone else on the planet,
I know from my own experience something of which my brain/mind is capable
that is unknown and seemingly unavailable to them.
I know fully what ordinary men call thinking,
but I also know that there is a totally different order of that same  neurological activity called thinking:
they obviously have a common root and some similarity,
but what everyone else thinks of as thinking is, by comparison to what I call,
and experience as thinking, arithmetic to trigonometry;
a two dimensional drawing to a holograph, or perhaps better pictured:
what ordinary men experience as thinking
is like words which can never form a conclusive sentence;
they can accomplish some useful descriptions of a given subject,
but never present a definitive statement thereabout;
what ordinary men know as thinking-about-a-matter always offers but a
partially satisfying explanation of the matter (true, regarding the physical universe,
immeasurably more so concerning man’s unique intangible one),
but what I  --  the certain man  --  the man who has realized what is going on  -- experience as thinking
(the form done outside the automatic thought-receptor/creator of my brain)
produces completed mental pictures and explanations of the subjects thought about.

I see and understand that ordinary people are satisfied with the situation in them,
how 'bout in that they have no awareness of any alternative, and as already noted:
they show no harm from it;
what life has instilled in them as, thinking
clearly must be fulfilling life’s desired purpose, or else it would be otherwise;
having still operative in my own brain, the same kind of mind as everyone else has,
and which still thinks in the same way theirs does,
I see clearly how it is sufficient for the needs of ordinary men (and apparently life),
but the brains of the few like us my boy,
have in addition to the mind common to everyone,
another area of consciousness that is entirely UN satisfied with the thinking done by its counterpart.

To the thinking in that special part of my brain/mind, what other men  --  even experts say/write about matters strictly human, is damn near like childish babble:
what world renowned and respected psychologists, sociologists, historians, theologians, political and economic commentators, etc, say about the nature of man and life is pathetic in scope to what at least some brains (well, at least one I know for sure) are capable;
where other minds see never-completed, connect-the-dots pictures of man and life  --  my thoughts see finished, three dimensional holographs of the many matters that make up man and his life --

--  floating naked and serene somewhere in my frontal lobes.

I repeat to you my son: this thinking (for which I cannot actually claim credit)
does not make me feel that I am better, or even smarter
(in the normal use of the word) than other people,
and it is not even that my thinking is correct and theirs not,
for their form of thinking is responsible for everything beneficial to men’s lives
that are not naturally found on this planet;
what they call and know as thinking is the kind of thinking they obviously must do,
and are limited to doing;
my brain however
(and apparently those of a few others up & down our anomalous genetic family tree)  started out, and can still operate,  like theirs,
but it also (with my lifetime of urging and nagging) can think in a manner
that compared to the common form,
is like fully competent, coherent, and conclusive directions to a place,
vs. fragments of actual directions;
the latter can point you to the right general area,
but the universe  --  outside AND inside a man  --  is a big place,
and fragments of mental directions and descriptions of things
will never lead to a final conclusive destination  --
only the special type of thinking possible for the certain man’s mind can do that.

What ordinary men call thinking is simply their repeating of what they have
heard and read  --  that’s it kid  --  that’s all there is to their, thinking;
to their minds, this would be nonsense  --
their thoughts would dismiss it upon hearing,
but if you can tap into that other kind of thinking in your brain, you will then realize beyond any question that what ordinary men say  --  they never think about  --
and what they call their thinking  --  they personally do not think.
The thinking experienced by ordinary men/minds is in no wise
personal-to, or even individually connected-to the man having the thought;
normal humans do not think  --  the conscious operations of their brain are plugged into the great Thought Machine which sends them theirs on a non stop basis,
ordinary men simply do not personally particpate in their thinking,
and that is what thinking amounts to in every human being on this planet,
(except me and you for sure  --  and a few others apparently with the potential).

Once you are fully embraced of this reality, you cease feeling any criticism for
other men’s ideas  --
once you understand that other people are in no way individually thinking,
you simply cease to have any interest therein;
when you can think as I know thinking to be  --
your thoughts are the only ones deserving of your attention;
in no way prejudicial to other people,
but you then have absolutely no interest in what any other human has to say;
you do not want to hear their ideas, you do not want to read about them  --
you already know what their ideas are  --  they are in you also  --
but you have now moved to a mental place beyond where they arrive and reign;
you & your mind can THINK about things, and that is all you require.     Neat, huh?!”

--  how could the son of such a man not agree.

J

To be a critic of what another says  --  hell --  to even be interested  therein  --  is to be a supporter thereof;
complain about someone else's ideas  --  help roll their logs,
whilst crushing any possibility of you have of acutely thinking.
