Ordinary
men know that information vital to survival comes into their neural system
via
the body’s physical senses,
but
ignore a possible otherwise situation regarding the data that appears in
their mind;
‘tis
not merely a matter of no one knowing from whence it cometh --
no
one even wants to think about it.
Unless you would prefer to be dead than deluded you will eventually be
both.
(Note: if, eventually is too far away for you, try, now.)
Being
serious
about life excuses one from being intelligent about it.
The
dense must exaggerate
and be exaggerated to;
only
those with the potential for independent thought can be spoken to plainly;
the
more civilized and distracted be a man’s mind the more does he long for
one
plus one to equal the Library at Alexandria rather than two.
More Regarding The Local & The Universal:
while the thinker is decidedly local, think-ING
can transcend such confinement.
One man stuck his own I out -- he said it deserved it.
Cattle
have a strong attraction to their home range --
it
is the only place they know to go.
The
certain man’s mind is drawn always to fresh meadows;
things
already seen are things picked clean.
Humanity’s
life produced, collective thinking is the primary bulwark against
mental
chaos, and while this serves well the herd -- it chokes the
individual.
A
Time Saver’s Tip For An Audience Of Potential Independent Thinkers:
As
soon as the speaker quotes anyone other than himself --
feel
free to leave.
No
one knows what they are talking about
who
will talk about what other people may know;
only
with the realization
comes the full recognition of what it is that everyone, collectively and
individually on this planet knows,
and
precisely what this is, we have too much space to go into just now.
The
idea that man’s mind makes up all of his problems save that of death does
not sit well with city folks.
The
more that your thinking is directed by man’s collective mind
the
less able you are to objectively look at exactly what thinking is.
(Most of what
one who knows could tell others about the workings of the ordinary mind,
captives thereof
find annoying if not offensive.
Neat, huh?!)
Due
to its size, weight and density -- collective thought is always local;
what
distinguishes the certain man is his mind’s ability to take a local question,
and
smother it in the universal perspective.
At
simple glance, local human thinking appears to be a closed system
within
an even greater closed system of life itself;
this
view seems to fit the facts and make sense, but from a more expansive vista,
mind is not a closed, but rather an infinite -- though self-bound
system:
while
the universe itself cannot extend beyond its own physical limits,
nothing
confines what the mind can think about -- other than what it
thinks about;
mind,
while literally unconfined -- is yet normally self-constricted
due
to the force of man’s collective consciousness,
an
arrangement we can but assume suits the needs of the universe
while
addressing none of those that drive the certain man.
“If I don’t look out for me -- who will?!”
No one, if you keep thinking like that. The help that those with
the hunger need is never to be found in places which
the
ordinary mind can name & identify;
look
in the corners of the universe that are quiet and unchartered --
that is:
areas
you must create in your own brain.
Above
all: the certain man is an artiste --
without
a private talent to create,
the realization
is unobtainable;
ask
yourself: who, amongst the world wide herd of none-who-know
can
covey to you the-knowing?!
The
certain man alone knows where he got what he knows
(which in his
case is a situation antipodal to that of everybody else who
also know where
they learned all they know [that is: they say they do]).
The
headwaters of local knowledge are also the waters themselves,
which
is why ordinary thinking never takes a man anywhere;
if
the certain man knows anything it is that the sources everyone else
identifies as responsible for everything from human behavior to fate are
specious and not at all necessary for a mind independent.
Conspiracy
Theories: the fervent hope that someone
-- anyone
is actually in charge.
The
denser the thinker,
the
grander the forces to which he will swear his inner allegiance;
withal,
a man who knows is not a non-believer
-- he is simply one who knows.
As
far as the normal individual is concerned: the herd does not ask for much
---
and
for the otherwise, it certainly does not offer much.
The
certain man is ultimately on his own -- if he ever gets
over thinking about it.

If
some cosmic force were watching and testing man, be assured of this:
it
would be constantly checking to see how often those trying to think for
themselves are pissed.
