THE NEWS IN WHICH THE READER NEEDS PARTICIPATE
________________________________________________________________

In the magical land of, Metaphor Realized there is a certain debilitating ill
that can befall a man, but only  --   if he speaks its name.

One of the certain man’s most important discoveries is the need to be silent.

Today’s Mental Tip:
When you think  --  don’t move your lips.

                                  Additional Hint:
                                                           “Lips” could be a metaphor.

LIFE ON THE WATER

You can live fast  --  or:
                                                         you can live slow;
you can float downstream --  or:
                                                         try and swim up;
the certain man’s secret is to:
                                                                turn into a hovercraft.

Additional Metaphor Hint:
So could be, “hovercraft”.

Another Prescription for: How To Think Better:
Never think about anything in particular.

If ordinary minds were rifle sights
the certain man’s would be starlight.

Foremost in the certain man’s training as a warrior is:
Do not look at the enemy.

Only those with the realization understand that
focus is not the same as staring --
the certain man pays no attention to noise, garbage and other irrelevance.

Since ordinary men do not know what is going on in other people’s heads
they are safe in saying that they do
(you may have to chew on this one a bit).

Since ordinary men do not know what is going on in their head
they are safe in saying that they do
(not as much effort required on this one).

Since no one in the routine world has any real idea of what is going on,
everyone is safe in claiming that they do
(no sweat at all involved in this one, huh).

The Welcoming Brochure with which everyone is intangibly furnished
when they come into this life, while not stating so directly,
subtly assures one and all that they can be perfectly (or at least tolerably)happy
for all of their days on this orb  --  no matter where they are born  --
as long as they never get seriously involved in trying to move.

Today’s: WHAT IF

What if The-Secret cannot be told not because of the limitation-of-language,
but rather the limitation of the machinery that produces language?

A Bonus: WHAT IF

And what if the real definition of: limitation is:
The necessary maintenance of protective illusion.

The certain man would prefer to see what he alone can see --
if it causes blindness to other sights
......(make that other: so-called sights).

More Aquatic News:
While everyone appears to have a different boat
they are all sailing at the same see level.

Unrecognized by him, but in the closet that holds every man’s most prized
mental possessions are two shelves –
not just the one everybody is aware of  --  but two –
and the realization of this radically alters how a man judges the value of what he has.

The intent of the certain man is that every day be house cleaning day.

POEM

‘I shot myself into the air,
I came to Earth, I know not where.
….(I probably could have found me  --  but I didn’t really look.)’

The adopted motto of one warrior was: “In Silence Is Strength” --
by which he was able to strangle the illusory enemy within.

The central question to education for those on the special prowl is:
“Am I to become learned  with the help of many,
or realized,  on my own?”
.....(For the certain man, once past a particular grade:
there is no teacher superior to silence.)

Definition Bonus: During one semester, the antonym of, staring is,silence
(glaring comes later).

To the certain man’s mind: ideas stated are the shakiest.

So pondered a man:
“If age can pass for wisdom,
why not death for enlightenment?!”
and a voice added: “Who said it doesn’t.”

Each ordinary mind differentiates between what it labels:
Beliefs, and: Ridiculous Beliefs  --  guess which each mind harbors.

If the certain man was said to have any belief it would be in the existence of
a place far beyond beliefs (and then, only because he has been there).

In the dictionary of one who knows, “superficial thought”
probably comes as close as anything to describing normally acceptable thought.

Bonus Health Tip:
To see better  --  don’t look at anything in particular.

Double Bonus:
To BE better  --  don’t BE anyone in particular.

The certain man’s final visible act is him erasing himself  --
and once done  --   no one ever remembers him doing it.
