NEWS JUST BARELY
ALLOWED OUT OF ITS YARD
_________________________________________________________________
One man played a
game that required you to keep your
eye-on the-ball,
and he got so
good at it (if that be the proper description)
that his eye became
indistinguishable from the ball.
Upon reading of this,
one man decided to write a letter to the editor of his paper regarding such
matters, but upon opening his desk drawer to get pen and paper,
discovered his editor
already there and aware of the affair.
His brother then
entered the room and said: “You might as well just forget about it”
but before he could
get all the words out of his mouth -- he’d already forgotten it.
Though it may vague
to them seem and difficult to detail –
most men’s unwitting
notion of Paradise
is a place wherein exists no irony
(which more precisely is to
say): a place where the obvious is no longer ignored.
When the certain
man dies he goes to a spot where no one pretends that
they can tell
any difference between any stuff you can’t eat.

How To Think Better:
Part Twenty-Nine:
Never repeat anything
you have heard -- especially to yourself.
The certain man
is on intimate speaking terms with but a very few people
................................(okay,
make that one.)
- - -
Men invented mechanically
driven time pieces as an attempted reflection of how they sensed the passing
of thought through their mind to mark their own internal tempo.
The certain
man always knows what time it is --
no time.
- - -
The energy driving
the engine of civilization can be seen as having
several graduated
sources:
the first might be
said to come from man’s knowledge of death;
and behind that could
be said to stand his interest in the future,
and further
on back could be said to be his curiosity regarding what is
possible
in this reality,
and basic to it all
is the great whirl of the great whirling as it wonders about
the nature of its
whirling
(which is another way to say):
man’s mind hungering to comprehend itself.
This is true civilization
-- and this, the only life worthy of a real man.
The certain
man may not be totally civilized, but no one knows it but him.
- - -
How To Think Better:
Part Forty Six:
Never talk to yourself
-- particularly in words.
The certain man alone
sees fully why talking about any matter intangible
is the worst way to
go about understanding it;
this very sentence
is insane to the normally sane,
and deeply encoded
to the rest.
Note: the certain
man makes and reads only his home grown code.
- - -
Regarding Excitement:
What excites you evidences
what your mind understands.
From the feet down
-- everyone enjoys goin’ to town,
but only the certain
man can throw a wingding in the mountains.

Proverb From The
Professions, Updated:
He who talks
-- and listens to himself has a fool for a client....uhhh.....
......an idiot for
a patient -- (well, you get the drift).
If a
man is not then,
his own
best friend,
must
he remain his imaginary foe?
How is the mind to call to itself? –
what can it say that will shake itself awake.
There are certain tricky-things which song birds can be
told only
if they are first tricked
into listening.
All tricks for the
certain man are tricks within but a single trick,
something requiring
decades to see;
but his eventual realization
is that the single trick is in fact,
not a trick at all,
but rather the ironic and misleading legerdemain continually performed by the
obvious and unconcealed.
What magic! --
What marvels to
be revealed under the light of the certain man’s inner glaring.
- - -
How The More Conscious
Better Use Their Mind: Part Ninety Two:
They never state their
mental intention -- especially to themselves.
The certain man
alone understands that a well drawn map to an inner place
is the worst possible
way of trying to get there.
- - -
One man had a pet,
similar to those had
by others,
but while everyone
else bragged about the one trick theirs could do,
he discovered unknown
ones his could perform.
The
certain man’s carnival must be entirely his own from top to bottom:
all original
rides & attractions,
all sales
pitches, come-ons & spiels written by his own hand.
How To Think
Better Amidst The Sawdust:
Learn to do
it at arm’s length --
“See! -- nothing up my sleeve -- nothing at all --
especially my sleeve!”
Now THAT’S how you do
it.

Regardin’ Discoverin’:
If you ain’t constantly
discoverin’ -- you ain’t discoverin’.
J
Regardin’ Repetition:
Hey --
I ain’t goin’ over this again!
