WORDS PUT TOGETHER IN A WAY THAT WILL INTEREST THE CERTAIN MAN
________________________________________________________________

There are those who live life (farmers, herders, carpenters),
and those who try to analyze life (priests, scientists, psychologists),
and the certain man who seeks to see what is behind all the living and analyzing.

When shoving takes over from pushing,
and your personal trainer and an undertaker are both standing by  --
words clearly then count for nothing  --  only action.

“I” is not the brain  --   neither is it not, not the brain;
only it knows what it is  --  but it, not mentally;
“I” is as “I” does, and not “is” as it says it does.

Consciousness is the information on its screen –
consciousness is the screen –
the data appearing thereon is for the purpose of making the screen visible;
the realization provides consciousness that when not engaged in farming
is like a disinterested  percipient brick.

If you simply stayed aware of the words consciousness is continually processing, nothing would be as it is now in your mind.

Learning the mechanics of man does not free you from slavery,
but does from fruitless bitching.

You can revise the past  --  but more efficient is to forget it.

To act spontaneously requires that you plan to do so;
men’s ordinary mechanical reactions are not it;
only that consciously planned and willfully executed
is the spontaneity needed by the certain man.

What are men doing when they blow their car horns at vehicles which have
already passed out of hearing range?

Even if all info is useless --  it is thoroughly useless if you do not act on it --
--  even knowing it is useless:
this is the certain man’s way (which may explain its lack of popularity).

The best thing you can do is to do the unexpected  —
and the best place to do it is in your own head.

Not all who say they want to, awaken-to-unadorned-reality actually do –
many just want life’s delivery truck to get off their foot.

You cannot put life in a holding-pattern  --   but you can your mind.

The expansion of life is the message  --   man’s mind, the medium.

“I” must be felt as separated from its environment for man’s consciousness to expand in its proper overall manner;
the increasing feeling in each man of his individuality and the growth of
survival enhancing technology are hand in hand;
only the certain man, seeking his personal expansion,
has need to close this illusory divide.

Mental-anguish is a prime energy mover in man;
mental-anguish is another term for: not-realizing-what-life-is-about;
euphemisms are entertaining to everyone but the certain man.

The fun of hearing someone else talk about exotic locales
can never match the thrill of discovering them for yourself.

There is but one form of depression possible for the certain man which comes from

not constantly saying hello
                                                     to what you know.

                                                     Ordinary men visit with each other  --
                                                     the certain man with his understanding.

When a man-who-knows sees a piece of machinery in action –
he is never upset by it  --  no matter how close to home it may be.
Indulging in personal feelings about life is the leading cause of blindness in one place.

There are three levels of focus:
Low: focus on staying alive;
Medium: focus on your “I’s” interests;
High: focus on the focus mechanism.

Amongst its omnidirectional applications:
you can see the, I + not-I = everything formula inside yourself:
“I” being your mental self,
and, “not-I” your physical one  --  what more is there?
(One of the equation’s benefits is its cutting away of forty pounds of fat
for every ounce of meaningful lean.)

In your, I + not-I = everything tango with life outside yourself –
never expect your dance partner to change their step;
as always: the certain man is on his own, even when apparently not.
(Although he may have expunged many words from his vocabulary
the certain man retains a private fondness for, apparently.)

If there really is such a thing as bad-luck that runs through the lives of men,
in the, I + not-I = everything equation, in which direction would it flow?

Today’s Geographic Fact:  If you are satisfied with a map --  you do not understand it.

There is an unrecognized linchpin between all perceived contradictions and opposites,
and forms one of the doors through which the realization can enter.

Today’s Outstanding Scientific Finding:
“Consciousness is not a mere instinctive reaction.”                   (Thank you doctors.)

If you perceive that you have a problem, and see yourself as part of the problem,
then you have a much larger problem than whatever the presently perceived one is......(if you are the certain man, that is........otherwise, forget about it).

Even if you cannot alter the flow of life  –  you can keep from being drowned
(at least, before-your-time, as strollers on the beach like to say).
The basis of consciousness is mechanical and non personal –
in the certain man’s case  --   he makes it personal!
Extend the grasp of your nervous system and expand consciousness.
Man’s “I” could be provisionally labeled: The-primal-flow-of-life-in-an-updated-form.

Man is not unlike life  --  just in a form hard to grasp  --  if you are nothing but a man.
Life is not unlike man  --  just in an exaggerated form that’s hard for men to accept;
it is not unseemly to expeditiously look at life as being just another (albeit huge) person, full of contradictions and contrary behavior;
there is however, the fact that life and man operate at two entirely different tempos --  so disparate in fact as to stir up two separate universes:
the origins of man’s inner and outer realities,  and the, I + not-I = everything equation.
Riding them both, unprejudicially, is the cowboy’s way to the realization.

It is not that you must learn to be tolerant  --
learn what is really going on in life and you will automatically be tolerant.

No action of any kind is wasted in life  --  only a man’s perceptions.

Whatever approach you may be presently employing, underlying them all
(for the man determined to see this thing through) is the  do-or-die imperative.
Success in this strange endeavor is when there is no longer a struggle;
when the inborn voices in your brain are no longer relevant,
and the illusory divide between I & not-I has faded;
the certain man’s struggle is to end all useless struggles.

* The Power Of Info: Someone asks if the dates listed each day in the heading have any significance, and the answer is yes.  Now you know.

Two people mix metaphor & reality: the unenlightened and those who know better.
