NEWS INTENDED TO ANNOY (SORRY: INFORM)
THE BEST OF YE
_____________________________________

Every morning one man would go through a lengthy, complex procedure of
reciting to himself a prediction of the day's coming occurrences,
and pledging to life and himself to do better that day than ever before --
he had no name for this ritual  --
none of it ever worked or did him any good  --
but he did it every morning just the same --
because he was German, Lutheran and a Gemini.......................................and human.

Ordinary minds searching for the causes of things intangible are like men standing at a station they have imagined in the middle of a desert, looking first this way  --  then that,
assuming that trains can come from only one of two directions.

Life gives everyone a microscope to examine life with --
then looks back at them through a telescope.

A student said: “I have only one question.”
“Good” said the teacher: “I have only one answer.”

No one cares for a child like its parents --
man's mind has no parents --
but just look at who loves and protects it.

Having a mind, men can enjoy things they have yet to experience,
and also suffer over things that have not happened.

In a land where no one is wrong  --  creatures can never think.

Those who believe that talk means anything are in for a real lesson once they die.

A man who can learn to count can also forget how to count.

While the certain man is surely inspired,
he is not inspired by anything or anybody  (he is just inspired);
he also assuredly has a goal; you do not know what it is, nor will he say what it is,
but he has one.

Trying to find a rational reason for why people think the thoughts they do
is like a cow trying to figure-out leather.

Most humans have only one mental pastime: talking about themselves.

Thinking that you’re right and everyone else is wrong
is the sure sign that you’re wrong,
and don't understand what thinking is actually all about.

One man found himself to be “All right” in his book  --
whenever he was holding such a thought --
but found himself to not be at all all-right when he was not.

The certain man’s greatest reason for living is having no particular one.

One man had the ability to misunderstand everything  --  everything he heard, that is,
which to him, made it all work out just right.

Men searching for sense don't like it when things don't make it.

Amongst the ordinary (intellectually speaking): the herd instinct is the proper instinct.

On one extremely weird planet,
when the inhabitants cannot do a particular thing
they will say that they cannot.

In lieu of referring to himself individually when rhetoric seemed to demand same,
one man would instead employ the term: “Me and my people” with a vocal inflection clearly indicating that it is the latter who are in charge of things in his personal life.

Man’s ordinary mental state is like an elephant that sits down in a flea’s room --
totally overwhelming everything in the scene.

From one view:  talking about the intangible things of life
is the least efficient approach to understanding them  --
yet for ordinary brain functions, it is the only way.

           And one man rapped:
“I’m the kind of guy that had a lot of fun,
but it looks like the ravel in my rope’s now un-ed.”

Even when you are close  --
there is usually no one there to tell you that you are  --
which is why you have to be able to recognize it for yourself.

How Might Be The Certain Man’s Attitude Toward Mental Moods:
"Screw bad health, and don’t mention good.”

One man’s take is: “You either ride your thoughts like a surfer a wave,
or they will swamp you like a tsunami.”

A variation of glaring is:
pretending you like things your thoughts say you don’t.

There was once a man who started his own new religious/mystical cult,
and whose teachings were in truth based on his own uncertainties,
and upon finally realizing this, his followers were aghast and sorely upset  --
...well, some of them were, mostly because they hadn't thought of it first.

Any idea you embrace for which you feel the need to be an apologist
is a turd in your pocket.

Ordinary people do not see the certain man as being particularly intelligent,
    charming or becoming  –
hell! --  if they take particular note of him  --  he is not the certain man,
(or else is seriously lax in his work).

It doesn't matter much what the ordinary eat   --  they'll still always be hungry.

From the certain view: a man with anything to hide
has a lot to hide
(and you don't surely think him excluded).

J

Question: How can people believe that a particular person might have even some idea of what is going on,
and still be at all interested in what they think of him?
(and do not leave out of this, one part of your brain's attitude toward other parts).

If you can tell when the certain man is being serious and when he is not  --  he is not being the certain man.
