THE BLIND CAN ALWAYS SEE --
IN AREAS OF NO IMPORTANCE

There are three ways of typing sight that should be of interest to the certain man;
fascinated, staring and glaring.
When you are fascinated, your eyes and attention are held by the appearance,
or behavior of the thing you are looking at;
when you are staring, your inner eyes are fixed on and fascinated by
the thoughts automatically moving through your brain;
glaring is the only willful act of the three,
and is the staring-down of the brain’s mechanical mentation  --
the assuming of an inner cranial threatening scowl  --

--  just daring a thought to show itself.

Men are fascinated under two conditions: when danger appears
(a lion in your yard; a tornado on the horizon),
or when being visually entertained (a football game, an art show);
men stare when (you might say) they are being entertained (stretching the word to its max) internally by their own thoughts
(that is: the involuntary electro-chemical impulses continually passing through the brain that one part of the brain has labeled, thought);
this second classification is exemplified by the fixed state of the physical eyes;
when fascinated by something external, a man’s eyes move, following the motions or outlines of the thing he is looking at,
while in the staring state (a man being fascinated by the actions inside his own brain), a man’s physical eyes look like those of a dead fish;
glaring differs in all possible ways from both of the above;
your attention is solely on things internal, but you are in no way fascinated by them  --  nay, your knowledge of your instinctive tendency and desire to-be
                                                is the entire motivation for-your glaring.

It is a daring of your brain to be routine;
a defying of any uninvited thought to pop in;

it is a small group of confrontational cortical brain cells engaged in a molecular activity that equates to a threatening, almost taunting posture toward the other normally functioning neurons of consciousness –
glowering at them with such a heartless ferocity that it shuts down the brain’s ordinary production of thought for as long as the glaring is maintained.

This mental state of which the brain is capable is what is behind collective man’s creation of such concepts as: God, Truth and Understanding
(and the mystics’: Awakening, Enlightenment and Liberation).
The brain has the potential of turning one part of its conscious operations
on other parts;
in ordinary men (and the certain man alike) --  it does not want to..........but it can --
and certain men long ago discovered that it can;
such men still have relatives show up amidst the collective mob,
but what with all the world wide staring, and availability of things to be fascinated by  --  well......glaring is a state of sight seldom exercised  --   but there is nothing like it! --
not for a person who wants to see what the other six billion around him can’t   --

for him  --  there is nothing so sweet.

And now for late breaking stories from around the world --  from such places as: carnival lots: throne rooms; battlefields; investigatory labs,
and other places in the human brain.

As long as you leave your brain on  automatic spinning  --   there is no problem  --

that only starts when you step off the carousel;
doze all the time  --  and feel no crime.

In one sense, civilization is the act of men wanting to distance themselves from their biological/physiological self,
while the certain man is (from one perspective)
trying to feed his newer, psychological self to the former --

without any indigestion resulting.

One man's working motto is: "It's either him or me."

Even if we were in no way free, knowing the rules of the confinement affords a liberty not had by those who do not know them.

    As long as they are alive: Everybody gets-by  --
    but the certain man alone realizes what this actually means
    (which doesn’t necessarily extend his life  --
    but it does reduce its useless stresses and uncertainties.)

Ordinary people who say they are trying to change  --   are just playing a game  --

but one the certain man takes seriously.

What obligation have you to perform
when the promise to do so was made under duress.
(Apply to the thoughts coming through your brain to which you consent,
only later, wanting to regret same.)

One man was so world-wide agreeable that
his agreeing with you actually meant nothing.
                   (“Exactly as I planned it” adds he.)

Ordinary people continually refer-to and identify-themselves-with a nation,
culture, political party, religion,
in an attempt to make some sense of their self.

    One guy’s view: “Wrong headedness eventually destroys either itself   --

    or you.”

        Ordinary men feel their ordinary lives to be a trial without a jury
        (or without a suitable end, it might be added).

Right after you purchase an item (while it is still new to your possessions)
every time your gaze falls on it you think: “That is now mine,”
but quickly it goes from you thinking of it as belonging to you
to it becoming a self-possessed thing unto itself  --   not yours --  but its.

    A man who cannot see how this applies to his mind and thoughts
    has little potential for ever gaining any accurate inner sight.

Though so concerning physical matters, otherwise:
talking about something is the least efficient approach to understanding it

--  and this includes  --   to yourself.

The answer to the question which gradually begins to grip & engulf everyone
as they get close to the realization is: no.

Everyone is some kind of fool --
the trick is not to be yours while trying to appear serious.

If you are ordinary, what you think you are
is as important to you as
what you are.

To be the realized man  --   you cannot internally resemble anyone else.

When you reach a certain level of activity regarding the realization,
from an audience's perspective it is no longer a matter of being informed,

but of being entertained.

Unlike on an actual battlefield, in the mental realm, when you take-a-position  --

defeat is inevitable.

There is but one calamity for the certain man  – inattentiveness  --
even the realization cannot save you from this;
(“Worse than death itself   --   without any doubt,” said a king).

And the carny reminded the kid:
"Remember: Bird died for his sins  --  not yours         --       so:
don’t make any long range plans since you’re gonna have to pay for his."

THE IMMEDIATE PLAN

Eat less --  run more;

                                                         talk less  --  glare more.
