ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW LOOKING AT SOMETHING BACKWARDS
CAN REVEAL A DEAD-ON VIEW OF ITS TRUE NATURE
_______________________________________________

The most disparaging thing that can be said of a sophisticated man is that he is “clueless”  --   whereas,
if a man really was --  absolutely clueless

he would then suffer no confusion or uncertainty,
(increased verbal accuracy being so close at hand, why not we of it, ourselves avail):
if men were not made to think themselves to be with clues,
they would not be the befuddled, bewildered creatures we see.

About matters mental, no man’s mind thinks itself clueless;
it will readily admit total ignorance regarding some subject physical
(farming, mechanics, mathematics), but the thoughts natural to each man’s brain, which constitute his particularly shaded consciousness, and mental conception of life,
come with the innate characteristic of believing that they already have
some understanding of anything they hear mentioned concerning man's mental life, (in other words); normal human minds are born with clues,
(or to return to more precise possibilities):
routine human minds are born believing that they possess clues,
(which [to run-of-the-mill-minds] is operationally, one and the same).

Little is needed for a normal man to acknowledge his cluelessness concerning something physical,
(the untrained looking at an atomic reactor and realizing he has no idea whatever of how it works),
but nothing remotely similar is so when man (via his thoughts)
attempts to look internally at what seems to be his own individual self
(in more exact terms): when thoughts venture to survey themselves.

Even the epitome of inexperienced naiveté  --  a just-talking child –
when condemned for some behavior will immediately offer a full blown explanation therefor, having apparently --  obviously?!  --   looked into
the psychological-recesses of its own brain wherein it must have --  or, seemingly --
found clues to its own motivations;
but how can this be?  --
how can such proffered explanations of one’s private personality come from an infant who only days ago began to speak and display the features of consciousness?

A little knowledge or ignorance does not go --  a-long-way  –
it goes all  the way and covers everything it touches;
an astigmatism you start with  --   your sight forever is stuck with;
an incorrect number or symbol at the beginning of a mathematical problem --  no matter how small or apparently insignificant  --  dooms its outcome;
commence a journey favoring one foot  --  you end up going in a circle:
all of these metaphors point to the same reality:
undertake an investigation believing erroneously that you have clues,
and anything you subsequently accept as a solution to the case is (as Sherlock would say) Baskervilles Houndshit  (i.e. innately flawed, and not to be carried into prim parlors).

Normal humans minds are (as it were) --  born possessing clues to the puzzle of
the human mind and all that populates the infinite inner world it creates in man,
but from the non normal view (and inexplicable, pre- experience) of the certain man,
none of the clues are valid  --  they are meaningless  --
they have no relationship whatever to the actual facts of the case --
other than for the fact that by all normal appearances --  they DO! –
this (not surprisingly) is the foundation of the bamboozlement and man’s
generally unrealized confusion in matters wherein his mind seems most certain  --

--  in matters about itself.

Although, when measured by all present circumstances, it seems unavoidable,
if a man could start out  --  free of the specious clues the ordinary mind comes with,
he would never experience any doubt concerning what life is about,
nor suffer any uncertainty regarding what he and the unique mental world
his thoughts construct, are all about.

So --  from the certain perspective: it is from not being clueless that
all which bothers the certain man follows (but more to the practical point):
from his lack of realizing that all the clues are meaningless, spurious, vacuous,
and  meaningless  --   and verily: if there be something somewhere  --
--  that is somehow even less than meaningless  --   this will be it.

The clues native to and accessible to even the best educated minds
are not merely flawed, incomplete, or even wrong  --
they are (from the certain man’s view) the mind covering up its own eyes,
(or perhaps more pithily put): the clues men’s minds come up with to describe itself,
and to explain the nature of the singular and magnificent universe it creates within man
are in fact the mind waving its hands in front of its own eyes
while it plays tricks on itself:
like what a magician does to lead the audience's view away from the place at which
he is preparing his illusion:
as the viewers’ eyes follow, he holds high his right fist,  which was just now empty,
as with his left, he extracts from his pocket the trinket he is about to make
magically appear;
not at all whatsoever-ever unlike what goes on continually in man’s ready made mind;
his mind says to itself (who else is there to say it to?!):
“Look!  --  right here is a valuable clue to the mystery of you”
(it now pretending there is a you,and that it is talking to it [in a helpful manner, no less]),
and to standardly outfitted humans --  everything unquestionably seems in order;
you having your mind do what it is good at: figuring things out –
now you have it working on figuring out why you, other people & life,
are as they are, and do as they do  --   but the truth is: your mind hasn’t got a clue;
all ordinary men & their minds are totally clueless  --  and not one in a billion suspects.

Using meaningless --  not merely erroneous  --  errors can be corrected, but --   meaningless clues
can only lead to (blank) conclusions (you provide the adjective).

On that planet where things are complex and hefty,

                                the simple and lean are in a special way healthy;
                                and in the secret place where the certain man resides,
                                knowing when you know nothing is knowing it all.

Men who believe they “have-a-clue” (or worse!)  are clueless.

J

“Pa pa  --   is it really as simple as it has herein been made to sound?”
  “Can’t say that it is.”
“Then will you explain it in better detail.”
  “Can't do that either.”

“Do you believe in aliens from outer space?”
           “I do from inner space.”
