The
best way to sustain a hallucination is arguing its qualities --
the
absolute highest standard of efficiency is maintained when
there is debate over the details of an illusion.
Sane
men do not philosophically reflect on the physical world;
odes
are not written to boulders, nor spiritual allegories based on car batteries;
the
mind of normal humanity ponders, and discusses deeply, only hallucinations.
Men
will talk of material matters in a pragmatic manner
when
such can be of potential physical benefit to them;
the
rest of the time (if they are not mute) they speak
of immaterial matters which,
from
a certain pragmatic view, have no measurable benefit.
Science
& technology discuss the hands-on world;
everything
else is talk about hallucinations.
The
physical world outside of man is there and remains there
whether
he talks about it or not --
not
so the world unique-to and inside-of man;
speak
not, think not of your religion, politics or philosophy-of-life,
and
they will disappear;
your
heart is with you, always doing its job --
even
when you are not consciously
aware of it -- even when you are un conscious
--
but
no similar situation exists with mind;
if
you are not experiencing thoughts and aware thereof -- you
have no mind,
so
at the radical level your mind must be always talking --
if
not to others -- then to itself (you,
apparently) --
thus
is the dual hallucination of you having a "you" & you
having a
mind maintained.
This
arrangement in man's brain is so
(what is a term
designating something beyond, "all inclusive"?)
all inclusive
that
there is nothing further to say about it
(other
than to note that it is so "all inclusive" of man's existence that under
routine conditions it is impossible for his brain to get its thinking around
the fact sufficient to fully grasp and digest it -- put
this way:
the
brain's thought-generated sense of a "you" that you experience in your
head
can
hear nothing of objective substance about itself --
but
for a reason beyond its capacity to even imagine -- to simplify
a wrap to this):
in
the overall order of things, the cortical area of man's brain,
wherein
thought is broadcast, and thus mind believed to exist,
must
constantly talk to maintain the appearance-of --
the reality-of,
(or for the few:
the hallucination-of) the mind and its Siamese twin --
a "you"
--
a
you
that is separate from its environment, and ergo able to think about its
environment, and ergo capable of rearranging it to better suit the man
whose cortex is thinking about it (this seems inescapable [from the human
view] since the environment shows no signs of thinking about man, and no
inclination of rearranging itself for his benefit [that should actually
read: "from the ordinary human
view"] --
but
back to the sole subject of this daily news coverage
[which
is not man's health, comfort or physical environment]).
The
cortexes of the brains of you reading these words spend most of their lives
not
thinking about the physical world outside of you -- but the
invisible one
inside
of you -- in your brain only -- that exists in words only,
in short:
hallucinations
(reminding you of the fact covered yesterday, viz.: a mass accepted hallucination
is not a hallucination, thus what is herein,
for
our extraordinary purpose, being called "hallucination" is,
with
ordinary men -- no such thing).
But-and-so
from this view: at any moment when your thoughts are not about the physical
world outside of you, they are on and about: hallucinations;
it
matters not what label, title or name thoughts have placed on the
"subject"
it is,
compared
to thoughts about things you can put your hands on, simply a hallucination:
perhaps
one widely shared by your community, or even the world,
which
to them renders it not a hallucination,
but
for a man with that certain view and special interest,
that
is all that all of these subjects are -- hallucinations
-- clear and plain:
mental
activity necessary in ordinary human minds to make possible the civilized,
collective living of men with its resulting survival benefits,
but
which, to that certain man, proves not only unnecessary,
but
head-on inhibiting to the certain aim which
makes
him the non standard, Certain
Man.
From
his perspective it is as though the human population of this planet must
wear a certain type of overcoat (mentally) to live
the life proper and laid out for them -- whereas he personally
does not;
in
this regard he does not feel superior (or inferior)
to everyone else --
just
different (and in a manner totally irrelevant to anyone else on
Earth but him).
He
who sees understands that what are clearly hallucinations to his mind
are
absolutely necessary in the thoughts of everyone else around him:
his
family, his neighbors, his leaders --
the
things about which all ordinary, normal, sane humans most commonly think
are hallucinations, but for those who do not see it like this --
it is not like this,
(and the little train
of the mind keeps on a'chuggin' and a'rollin'
and man a'dreamin' and a'livin').
To
a man with potential clear sight (and perhaps one eye already opened)
the
information covered thus far is pretty much child's play
(although it
may have taken him most of an adult life time to realize it);
where
it gets big-time interesting is in men's minds --
Everything
man ever says or writes that is not about the physical world
is
but fanciful travel guides of mirages;
psychiatry's
concept of, "talking-therapy" was an unwitting stroke of
commercial
genus: get someone to believe that if they will but fully
talk-out
a hallucination -- the problem of which they complain will be cured
--
--
an undertaking impossible of completion;
or
the church's: restructure a hallucination properly and the gods will bless
you,
the
hallucination in both cases being that of your thought-generated you.
Once
men have cured their hunger -- they want to cure
themselves;
after
their physical needs are satisfied, they seek to satisfy their non physical
ones,
aka
here as: their hallucinations.
What
sane person would fret over the possibility that he was suffering from
Groover's
Syndrome when
it was just a silly term he had once made up himself?! --
yet
an exact replica of such a thing fills up most of the life time of
six billion men's minds (under a variety of nom de plummies).
In
thought's non essential, free time (which is almost all of its time),
it
causes men to think and talk incessantly of matters which are but hallucinations;
subjects
that no human eye has ever seen, nor mortal hand touched, but to the mind
-- "No matter!" -- indeed it has made this a badge of honor:
the
ability to say you believe something to be real because
of the fact that
it
cannot be seen or felt -- the glory of: Faith.
What
but thought could praise itself -- with a straight face --
for
what should shame it;
who
other than mind can get by with publicly professing its gullibility,
and
then proclaiming it to be: Insight?!
(What a real sport and kidder life must be
when you get to know him up close and personally.)
Ordinary
men believe that they analyze themselves,
and
the more insightful and intelligent they consider themselves to be,
the
greater importance they attribute thereto;
the
routine mind accepts that not only is talking about and scrutinizing oneself
beneficial
for solving personal mental ills,
but
that such serious self reflection is for the healthy also, of benefit.
Thus
do intelligent, educated, sophisticated people think and talk
endlessly
about themselves, most specifically about that "self" which
everyone
accepts they have besides the physical one showing;
the
unseen one that exists but in their brain --
a
thing, that under any other circumstances, someone hearing about would
easily label a hallucination -- a feu follet --
a phantasm -- a ghostly image;
but
with men -- when their thoughts are talking about themselves,
under
the guise of talking about the person in whom they are being generated,
thoughts
do not see this inner specter it has conjured up within itself
as
being what it is -- a creature entirely of its own invention
--
and
blithely then goes on to ostensibly dissect, study, analyze,
and
pronounce judgment on the thing:
Ordinary
thinking is not set up to talk about anything real --
except
when it is talking about something in the physical environment --
but --
to
make up for this: it never talks about anything real when it is not.
"Yes, it is
true: I am
my own doctor!
...........then why did I come to me?!?"
