There is only originality of thought  --  not of body, not of feelings, only of thought.
There is only one way to eat food, and someone has already eaten everything edible, and people have slept every place from caves to trees,
and every possible sexual position has been long ago tried.
And there is nothing new in feelings: people have already been: angry, discouraged, outraged, fearful, pushy, self-pitying, ostentatious, and everything else:
see the fact  --   face the fact  --  see fact run.
 

There is only one area in all of human life in which there is any possibility for originality  --  and that is thought..........................................and it is squandered.
The only times it is not (which are always crucial) is when thought is assisting body
in survival behavior (for instance): left to its own devices, a man’s body would forever fetch water from a stream and carry it to where the man needed it;
only his thought would, could do anything outside instinct and habit
(be original) and conceive of constructing a windmill to drive a wheel,
and pump the water to where it could be best used  --
but other than for such rare circumstances in your own life, ask yourself:

Also early on note and accept the fact that every normal human on this planet,
if asked whether they practice originality-in-thought will assure you firmly
in the affirmative (but majority-speak proves what? --  everyone  says that
their stock analyst is “The exception,” and that people who annoy you now
will get what they really deserve --  after they die).
Although there is no reason to do so, if you did tell an ordinary person that
under the everyday conditions of their life --  they are never original-in-thought,
they would instantly, and patronizingly dismiss you --  in fact, to their mind,
their analysis and spurning of your statement is an active example of their mental originality  --  their ability to, “think-for-themselves” (as they like to call it,
[and do you not appreciate the subtle humor in their denial of the idea, inasmuch as can you imagine any human ever agreeing with it  --  “original thought” indeed  --   right.]).
Sufficient to note: ordinary thought  --  when queried  --  claims originality,
and to see that it is totally lacking therein requires unnatural -- originality-of-thought,
(in different words: you can never personally realize that you live in Salt Lake City
unless you get out of Salt Lake City and can then look at the place from outside,
and are able to see where it is that you have been residing all this time  --
--  and no one ever does......well  --   no run of the mill person ever does)  --  but --
on the other manual formation, be it noted that routine people have no need to;
being not plagued by the desire for originality in their thoughts,
they can simply accept what someone else says about it,
who claims to have been outside the city, and thus has a full understanding of
the human situation (being a sycophant [especially one feigning ignorance thereof]
has its rewards, not the smallest of which is a life time of conserved mental energy
[‘course that does raise the question of  --  naw! --  it would be ill mannered to ask:
“Conserved the mental energy and put to what more profitable use?” --  no, don’t go there,
it would only upset the lemmings and lapdogs]) –
thus do there historically be a never ending supply of words (to match demand)
that purport, from a few men, to tell the rest of men what is going on in this thing
they commonly refer to as, life –
thus are men spared the needless effort to figure it out for themselves --
--  which would require  --  originality-of-thought.
Dramatic burlesque is being herein species-wide applied in that men’s brains are not wired for originality except in matters related to survival, and certainly not in the various recreational affairs which fill the remainder of their lives (read: most of their lives).
 

In their free time, no man, and no man’s mind has any need nor desire for,
originality-of-thought  --  the lone exception is a man born with TheRash –
plopped onto this planet wearing round his cortex, a crunch-time-watch
which renders his mental, “recreational time” not so casual as everyone else’s --
--  no less enjoyable  --  just not so easily filled and satisfied.
While other people’s minds contentedly spend their free time
wallowing-in the always available, thoughts-in-the-public-trough,
the exceptional man’s brain (in one area) has a skin blistering
that keeps him from being able to gratifyingly partake of the common thought fare;
it is not that he cannot ingest it like everyone else --
--  it just affords him no nourishment;
it can be enjoyable, same as an artificial sweetener --
but for such a mind, no thought, not original with it, has any nutritional value;
the ideas, great and small, of humanity the whole are one and all --  empty calories.

Again footnote that ordinary people need nothing more in their mental snacks –
in their thoughts about all of the matters which exist only in their inner, mental reality,
which includes all notions of themselves, and the purpose of life
beyond that of merely surviving (with the native assumption that there be such),
but a man born with a non standard spirit of mental-plus adventure must have more substantial provisions  --   and there are none naturally laying about on this planet
to be found and picked  --  he must create them for himself;
there are none to be harvested --  they must be totally invented by his mind,
same as was the entire realm that contains the things which
his natural thoughts believe they are trying to figure out;
he is in an imaginary prison cell which can be unlocked only with a key that
he conjures up for himself:

In you are to-This-Thing-born then you have the potential to hear, recognize,
and eventually utilize a thoroughly indescribable and unnatural ability for,
originality-of-thought  --   something that literally should not be possible in
a universe not original with the thinker --
yet thought that is so different from ordinary men’s that, comparably speaking,
it is not misleading to call it, “original” --  in, to and for the private use of

....Okay, if you want a nudge in the right direction: whatever you are thinking at this moment,  is not original.
 

     .....yeah, and if you go off, then come back and read it again at a different time  --  it'll still be true.
