From time immemoriheave, crossing all boundaries,
from philosophers to psychiatrists, historians to neurologists,
theologians to warriors, bankers to poets, kings to the common man,
men have continually said  --   and agreed with the idea:  “Man lives in illusions”  --
but the big one  --   no one ever notes  --

 the one from which all others spring.

Everyone can see the external world, but no one can see the internal one,
yet by nature, everyone believes that they do  --
that is the Flying Dutchman of illusions; the one that never dies, but forever sails  --   to no where  --  entirely through the mind of man.

An illusion that people eventually catch on to is not much of an illusion,
and the only illusions to which ordinary men are aware they are subject
are those they have realized they are;
the ones they still do not recognize as illusions
continue to have their way with man,
and the big one noted  --  they never recognize --  the natural mind is literally, physiologically incapable of doing so.

Tell any normal person (try telling yourself as you read this) that they see nothing,
and know nothing about what goes on in their mind,
and they will look at you as though you are insane;
the idea instinctively strikes the mind as supremely ridiculous;
 the notion is so clearly absurd that it does not deserve debate --
an ordinary mind will not argue the point, but will rather,
unhesitatingly reject it as soon as it hears it,
and indeed, the very fact that the mind hears the statement,
is aware of what it asserts,
and instantly identifies the idea as foolish
seems to the mind, a thorough refutation of the idea......................................yet,
from a certain view  --  the crazy thing is true  --
and being able to see its validity could be given as the dividing line between
a man who catches-on to what is going on, and everyone else.

The ordinary mind cannot examine itself, or even watch itself
as it goes about its normal “business” –
and if the subject is broached, men will say that they can and do stay aware of
what goes on in the mind,
and what they do unwittingly is picture themselves reviewing its past activities, i.e.
men believe they can study their mind like a detective putting thoughts in a line-up
to be scrutinized  --   but there are no suspects available to be lined up;
the only figure in the scene is the “person” momentarily present in your mind
thinking about the line up;
the (jail) cells of your mind are empty  --  until you look in one  --
then you are in there  --
and for an instant you believe that you are looking through the bars at you.
Memories, past thoughts are not stored in your brain like notes on slips of paper;
they are not things, but neural connections, once utilized,
and potentially re visitable  --  but when you do so,
the resulting electro-chemical event then becomes your momentary neural “you” --

--  standing amidst the illusion of it examining itself.

No normal mind can grasp this, and for such to judge it as foolishness is proper –
but the matter can be seen from that certain view even more accurately  --
and insanely (which is): to even say that the mind “exists” is a stretch,
never mind the notion of it not being able to study or be aware of its own workings,
how about that it does not even exist --  how is that for ultimate, over-the-top
ridiculousness?! --  yet whose assurance do you have that it does?  --  only the mind’s.
You can see evidence of its handiwork when the mind makes plans which the hands manifest, but when not that --  what proof is there that your mind and thinking exists apart from them saying they do if asked, and the instant feeling of certainty of the fact that goes along with it.

Cold truth is that no one “knows” for anything remotely resembling an “object fact” that their mind exists;
they have no outside authority in their brain to verify it;
it just “feels” right to say that you have one  --  everyone says they do –
and you all seem to operate, and talk very similarly --  and there assuredly is no evidence to the contrary  --   (not of which the mind can conceive).

Only a man with that innate, CertainHungerAndPotential has the least possibility of hearing any of this practically, but here it is again, capsulated:

you do not have any actual knowledge of what goes on in your mind –
         you do not even know for a fact that you have a mind;
         a man who believes that he knows anything about the world inside his mind is a fool.....from that certain view.

The ultimate and only actual talent you need to get to the bottom of everything,
and have all questions instantly answer themselves, is this:
not agreeing that: “Man lives in illusions” –
but in being able to realize that the biggest one is him believing that he realizes it.

Aren’t picnics fun.

On one planet the people live in structures with invisible floors (they have been told that the floors are translucent glass -- so they won’t be too spooked by the situation......truth is, there are no floors at all  --
                                                                                                                  but that’ll be our little secret).
