   "And where is that exactly?"
"Don't confuse me!"

A FLY-BACK-OVER, RE-SURVEY OF THE WEEK’S MAIN STORIES,
SEEN FROM SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES
_______________________________________________________________________________

There is a special type of alertness  --  a tension almost  --
needed to deal-with & overcome the,
they-tie-me-down-while-not-actually-being-actually-relevant conditions of life  --
a tension which at its core is relaxed  --
a relaxation based on an outsider’s understanding.
(Once you realize that not only do you not have a dog in the fight,
but that the fight itself is an illusion --  you’ve pretty much got the deal down.)

According to one former con man turned police consultant:
“The kind of people who buy life insurance, pay their taxes and pray for help, are the same ones who will fall for the old, ‘know-yourself’ scam.”
(Who better to guard the hen house than a fox who doesn’t believe in chickens.)

The first  Challenge is to not be ordinary.

Being, on-top-of-your-game requires that the game be one of your own creation.

Even if you do not think you are smart enough to
ever wake up to what is really going on
if you will just relentless do the best you can
the sheer quantity of effort will get the job done  --  believe it.

Being, on-top-of-your-game requires that the game be one of your own creation.

You need to kiss yourself good-morning, and knock yourself out, good-night --

.........and what the hell gives with seemingly sane people going out of their way,
and spending money to be berated?!!

The specific source of the inner conditions in which men feel themselves trapped is: their own mental self-absorption.
.......(“You really should get out more.”)

One man’s attitude toward conditions is similar to his personal view of the origins of the universe, which he calls his: W.T.H.D.A.O.T.S.C.F.A.W.A.I.G.T.P.I. theory, the: Where The Hell Did All Of This Stuff Come From
And Where Am I Going To Put It?  theory.

While the human mind has figured out and continues to figure out
a myriad of marvelous things,
and indeed has yet to conclude that
there may be anything in the entire universe that it cannot eventually figure out,
for lo these thousands of years there remains one thing it has never figured out,
and it misses out by not taking up The Really Big Challenge (that of):

figuring out WHY it cannot figure out that one thing.

A man said to his girl friend (life in masquerade); “You are so sweet to me,
that I feel bad being such a rotten person......I don’t really, but I would....
                                                                ....if I weren’t such a rotten person.”

He later wondered how he might tie that idea to him being both asleep and not asleep, and would be less asleep all of the time  --  were it not for him being
partially asleep all of the time.

All unnatural molecules are made from natural components, as all things
foolish and imaginary are constructed from something non so and real,
                                                                                                   (religion from fear, etceterafied).

A challenge that can be described is an imitation.

Just as a man who will talk to you about others will talk to others about you,
so too will a man who will tell you what he claims to know,
tell you also what he does not know, without bothering to differentiate the two.

Judging something to be either good-or-bad, right-or-wrong, this-or-that
requires you know its aim,
and no one in this universe can know what the aim of anything in this universe is.

Mental, self-absorption is the prohibition of self realization.

Simply, “being alive” is not a challenge (least not to a non imitation person).

You cannot “know who you are” and all attempts to & beliefs that you can
simply keep you dazed and unaware that you are so.

“Today why don’t we undertake an in-depth study of the concept, ‘encouragement’?”
     “Let’s don’t  --   for everyone’s sake  --   don’t!”

Only an aim that is a-respecter-of-no-conditions is worthy a real man.

One man has this thing he does: every evening he gives himself thirty seconds
to say in words what new understanding he has gained that day.

A son asked a father:
“You once said that if you show no interest in yourself, neither will anyone else, and
what I want to know is if this is applicable within just the confines of your own head?”
“And what that is useful is not?!”

An eye/I watching itself cannot only not see anything but itself,
but cannot see even that.

One man says that once he got over the, “conditions-thing”
he found life to be one big sweet, mellowdrama.
.......................................(“Thespians! --  start your engines!”)

Having no destination --  you can’t go astray;
offering no explanations  --  you can never be wrong.

One man says that his all time, absolute favorite proverb is:
“Stupidity is a sure sign of superior intelligence.”
............(He also proudly adds that he made it up himself!)

But for memory, ordinary men would have nothing to talk about casually.

“Pa pa, over the years you have told me many different things,
and I would like to know:
do you stand by each and every thing you have ever said?”
“Would you stand by a burning building that was about to fall over?”
“I don’t see the connection.”
“Well, tough titty for your team I guess.”

“..........................Oh --  okay,  I get it.”

To set up and meet The Real Challenge requires a special type of tenseness –
one that in essence is relaxed..................................like a re bar inside an éclair.

J

Notes one man: “The neatest part of talking about matters metaphysical & spiritual
is that nothing you say can ever be proven stupid or wrong.”

J

“Son, now you answer me a question:
of all the things I have ever said to you  --   what annoys you most?”
“Stuff about you having made up everything you’ve told me.”
“GOOD!                    NOW: do you understand where to go with that?”
