If
you have a code you say you live by -- you are normal,
but
from a certain view, you are insane --
not
because you allow the code to direct your life,
but
because you say it does when it does not.
Amongst
the masses, proclaiming that you live your life according to a certain
code-of-conduct,
belief-system, or philosophy is considered laudable
a
sign of a serious, deep-thinking person, devoted to goals beyond the mere
carnal;
while
this serves well the gears of collective society, it jams up those of the
few
trying
to decipher the construction of the engine itself driving all of this.
Those
figures held by mankind as heroes and leaders are always deemed to have
had a code by which they conducted their lives, either religious, political,
or philosophical:
prophets,
prime ministers, knights who would pay any price rather than act contrary
to their adopted code.
All
major religions, states, and moral systems have at their founding core,
such
a figure, and via the myths, legends and other story telling so important
to ordinary mens inner life, these figures, living their life adamantly
dictated by
their
code inspire in common mens minds, unequaled admiration.
Men
so dedicated to their code that they will fly in the face of all reason
even
give up their life rather than compromise it,
indeed
strike wonder in the consciousness of ordinary people.
Just
as it was yesterday, and all the days before:
that-is-how-it-is
at the routinely perceived level,
and
all there is to be said about it is:
there
is nothing amiss about it because: that-is-how-it-is --
but,
some
where beyond that particular that (which is to say)
inside
the perception potential of a few people there is more
to it than that.
If
you are content, then having a code you say you live by
is
neither here-nor-there, and certainly does you no harm (indeed
may do you good
in
the eyes of your peers), but from a certain secret
malcontent perspective of those few trying to get to the bottom of what
is going on,
trying
to live your life according to some set out model is blinding, deafening,
crippling
and absolutely insane --
there
simply is no more appropriate word for it but -- insane.
And
for them, the seductive tar baby (as the Law would call it:
an attractive-nuisance --
a legal concept
for the protection of children from alluring but dangerous circumstances
[obviously something
completely impertinent to our adult discussion here -- so we will
move on[),
is
in, after having abandoned and dismissed the various common codes employed
by the majority, they embrace their own minority ones -- but see
it thus, they do not.
Those
born with that certain wonder & wander lust in their neurons see the
codes, models and belief systems of the masses as mass delusions --
leading no where
--
and they are correct,
but
then to ever even get started on the search to satisfy their special desire,
they
themselves adopt an obscure one -- they have to
they have no choice,
no
more so than can you ever crank an engine without first priming it with
fuel
a
code-for-how-to-see-what-common-codes-do-not-lead-you-to-see
is the priming,
but
once an engine is running, if you keep priming, it becomes flooded &
will stop.
Having
in your mind a solid, comprehensive code which, whenever you think and
speak of it makes you feel good -- proud -- satisfied that
you are doing something most worthwhile in attempting to live thereby,
gives the ordinary part of the brain
real
neural pleasure -- this is not questionable;
for
the few the question is: Is this all there is? -- finding a belief-system,
a
mental-model to which I aspire to match?
If
the aim of the code you adopt is described as, Enlightenment or, State
X,
and
you do not ultimately push your mind past the far wall & confines thereof
to
reach a realization of why some human mind came up with the concept of
Enlightenment and State X,
then
based on the differences between your adopted model and the prevailing
ones, you may feel in your own mind that you have separated yourself from
the herd, but you have not liberated your mind from its own self imposed
confines due to your code.
There
is no such animal as a partial rebel --
no
such thing as conditional freedom;
he
who sees to the actual bottom of things is tied to nothing --
he cannot be --
-- and see.
_ _ _
World
events are non events unless a bomb blew up in your yard;
what
happens elsewhere has no meaning to your life unless you think it does,
which
if you do reveals you to be an ordinary person;
one
part of your mind does the same thing to other parts -- making them
think that something going on extrinsic to their existence has significance
to their existence,
which
if you go along with it announces you as a person with a major, meaningless
breakdown/problem in their recreational consciousness.
Understanding
that has holes and gaps in it is not understanding,
and
never realizing that it is not is un
enlightenment
on the galloping hoof.
If
you do not see through the code you initially adopted and which brought
you this far -- this is as far as you will ever go;
the
inner freedom of the few is unconditional, with no gaps or exceptions;
it
is freedom from everything in mans mentally contrived, inner reality.
It
is that plain and simple -- that contorted and damn near impossible,
and
as long as you have one single neuron clinging to one little bit of some
code
it
is
impossible.
To
ever know the joy of the LiberationTwoStep
you
must be free from everything --
--
free even from the one what brung you to the dance.
Once
you sense what is really going on, a code is good for one thing only,
to
describe what you have in your nose in the winter time.
