STORIES
FROM HUMAN LIFE & OTHER FUNNY PLACES
_______________________________________________________
Those who do not understand what is going on are always going on about wanting to improve-the-human-condition.
People with nothing better to do want to help others do better.
People who cannot cause themselves to do better,
want to help others do so.

Everyone
recognizes the major-problems -- but few the little
& only important one --
the
one in them: the thing in them that recognizes the problems,
but not itself.

“Son,
here’s the trick: when you don’t know -- make it up –
and
the other trick is: to yourself, act always as though you don’t know.”
* * *
Man
is the only creature who does not understand what is going on;
this
from him being the only creature who wants to know what is going
on.
You can never get-to-the-bottom-of-things until you get to the bottom of
the thing wanting to get-to-the-bottom-of-things.

In
ordinary consciousness, thought follows words;
in
the specially developed version of the few,
it
looks at their source........and treats them for what they are........just
sounds.

In
any group of human beings, ninety eight per cent will readily follow anyone
who proclaims their self leader -- it is
true physically – and it is true mentally,
and
everyone is born with a neuron in their brain which will make such
leadership
assertions for itself and with remaining brains parts that will fall in
line.

Everyone
has their own particular major-distraction --
everyone also secretly has their own individual mojo-workin’
--
's jus that most people aren’t hip to its existence --
.....oh yeah, everyone also has an occult tattoo that identifies them precisely
for

Men
appear to have a physical life and a mental one,
but
more accurately would the latter be called -- verbal.
“So,” said a son to a father:
“When you say that man’s inner reality is without substance,
you are saying that god does not exist?!"
“That is not it.”
“But that is included in
it -- right?!”
“Everything is.”

One
man says he wants to take-a-stand and make it officially known that
he
most strenuously and adamantly disapproves of
how
close the brain stem part of the old brain comes to the cortex.
(He
says this is for both physical and metaphysical reasons --
but primarily for both.)

The
ordinary want to know: “Why am I treated so badly?”
“Why
am I not rich and famous?” while the few want to know what knowing
is;
want
to see what seeing is, hear what hearing is,
One man mused: “If the reality of it all doesn’t get me -- the irony of it will --

A
gead diveaway is that if a man is really interested in waking up
to what is going on
he
will speak about that and not about himself.
Consciousness is like space: it creates & enlarges itself as it talks about itself.
Only
those who do not know what is going on think that something terrible might
be.
“But my cells make me do it!
--- do they know something I don’t?”
If men actually meant even a small portion of the words that come from their mouths, the world (as they say) would actually be in -- a world of trouble.
One
way to tell you are making progress is when you realize that you now commonly
forget to mention yourself, and what you think and how you feel.
Man is two separately observable animals: the doer and the talker,
Does
not students’ greater enthusiasm for their sports teams over their studies
hint
to you something.
“Son, today I have but one parting piece of advice (and I don’t hardly even mean it):
.........“By the way Pa Pa: is there an alternative to simply being: pleasant & insincere?”
J
Words -- you gotta love 'em!.......well....you don't GOTTA, you can taken 'em seriously like everyone else does.
