In the routine world  --  all news is old news  --
except that concerning man’s inner reality   --
about which he continually invents the new   --   he must  --   just to keep it alive.

In the outer reality  --  nothing is ever new --  always the same old things:
eating, fucking, fighting, horsin’ around and restin’ --
some great stuff, but this menu hasn’t changed in half a million years.
No, you must turn to man’s mentally based, inner reality to find a place where,
New is the order of the day:
new styles of music; fashion, writing, painting, thinking, movies, morality, customs;
new religions, political philosophies, economic models, social systems --
--  new images of oneself;
after all, there is a limit to the different kinds of food you can eat,
sexual positions you can assume, ways you can kill a person;
physical activities your body can enjoy, and ways to take a nap,
but with the inner reality --  anything is possible --  there are no limits;
eating, sex and rest were old hat before man even appeared  --  they were never, new,
but everything in man’s inner reality is new  --  since the realm itself is new –
man made the whole thing up after he got here  --  after he was well fed, sexed,
and with lots of free time on his hands.

So --  how can it be that, all-news-is-old-news --  if we are including news about
the inner reality? --  which by its very nature is new, in that
it is constantly being freshly invented?

Ordinary humans are born with a hearing blinder that keeps them from
the conscious recognition that everything they hear  --  they have heard before.
This limiter works so well that routine people cannot be made to realize that everything they hear other people say about anything, including the inner reality,
they have already heard --  even if the proof is laid out in black & white,
and unambiguous sound bites,
right before their eyes and ears.

A man with inherent, mutant auditory wiring in his brain hears clearly -- and naturally --
that all human speech (exempting the strictly scientific, [that about outer reality]) is repetitions;
nothing new is ever said --  for nothing new is ever thought;
‘tis if in man’s brain was originally installed an unrealized menu of
non physically based concepts about which he could think and speak,
and of which he could concoct variations,
but unknown to him is the fact that he cannot normally conceive of or create
anything in his inner reality that was not on that initial list;
(god for instance, was obvious thereon, and men have been allowed to
come up with a variety of various names for him, but have not been permitted, nor able to
excogitate a completely new alternative concept thereto).

If you could listen with the mental ears of the mutant mentioned
you would hear --  from top to bottom  --  east to west;
from liberal to conservative  --  cleric to atheist;
from one end of man’s universe to the other --   the same old things said
over and over and over and over,
with those involved acting as though they had never said nor heard them
ever said before.
If you grab this as criticism, you will never experience the anomalous hearing;
railing about it tightens up the normal blinder, and critics are singular in their
deafness to their oldness and redundancy,
and treat each of their expressions of displeasure as though they had just now
thought of it, and are presenting it to the world for the very first time in history,
whereas it is ten thousand time repeat.

Not only could man’s inner reality not survive without he endlessly refashion
the permanent items on its limited menu, but also not without he be unable to hear
the relentless repetition in his recitals of what he has done --
which makes them tolerable.

When first realized --  it is wondrous --  and is no theory;
transcribe to paper what you hear those around you say for several days
(or what is presented in the news and commentaries thereon) –
then read it --  and there it is as plain as can be;
a very small number of basic themes, repeated in variations, over and over again,
yet note: the routine working of the brain,
even if directly confronted with such material evidence  --  is moved not thereby;
it can look right at it --  same as it listens right-at-it constantly –
and continue on as though it was never aware, even for an instant,
of what is obvious and herein being noted.

Ordinary men’s ordinary minds are not wired to recognize the brutal redundancy
of all human speech;
not doing so does them no observable harm,
thus why would they even have an interest in the matter;
it is simply a normal part of common men’s everyday life:
like the noise of traffic and industry.
Being a part of this endless mental and vocal repetition is not an illness  –
taking it seriously is (if your goal transcends the bounds of common men’s routine life).

To ever do anything about how this species-wide situation affects you,
it must first be clearly  --  and then uncritically  --  recognized;
you must hear for yourself, through your own experience,
that every single sentence, concept, theory, or idea that ordinary men express
is merely a repeat of one heard a moment ago,
and that no amount of passion in their presentation can conceal the fact.
Not only has there not been anything new in man’s outer reality
during the long history of man,
neither is there ever anything new in his inner reality  --  which,
although is only as old as man is conscious,
he with thought, apparently replenishes constantly --
but which is only rearrangement in disguise;
and, why (it might be asked) is there never anything new to be found in his
theoretically, anything-is-possible-since-it-is-only-in-my-mind-anyway  inner reality?  ---
‘cause everything there depends-on, and is a reflection-of
a prototype in the outer, physical reality  --  and nothing is more finite than that.

The thing(that non standard neural experience) often referred to in these daily writings as: getting-to-the-bottom-of-things,
is the closest man presently ever comes to thinking anything actually new  --
which is not a new in the sense of thinking of some animal that no one has ever thought of before (which is not possible, all that can be done is to picture some
never before seen creature composed of various parts from already known ones) –
not the kind of new  the mind normally defines and expects.
The new-thought that triggers the explosive realization of what-is-really-going-on
is the sudden, final recognition of why there is never anything new:

the private mutant’s secret cracking of the cosmic code;
the unrestrained exhilaration of green realizing it is forever trapped in the palette.
