There was a frog who lived in a land of lizards  --  at least that was how he saw it;
the lizards did not see it that way, and on his death bed (well, something short by),
the frog considered that it was actually possible the lizards had been right,
and him wrong  --  except for his undeniable self awareness of being a frog.

This story tells you everything there is to tell about a man asleep in a land of sleepers who wants to wake up    ---    except for how such a thing is possible.

Someone has said that love resembles hatred more than it does friendship,
so what does that make the affection men feel for their ordinary state of mind?

   (Verse Two): If he who is not impatient is not in love,
   then he who is not truly sick of living in man's normal state of dreams
   knows not the meaning of true love.

      (Third Inning): Anything you take personally is true;
      anything you take personally  --   in the way of criticism  --   is true;
      anything that takes you true is personal.

Definition: Platonic love: Wonder Woman;
An-ordinary-man-believing-he-knows-what-is-going-on: Wonder Woman.

THE SHORT, POPULAR LIST ABOUT:
HOW TO WAKE UP TO WHAT IS GOING ON & ACHIEVE ENLIGHTENMENT.

Believe in god(s), and supernaturally inspired mortals;
be concerned for the future of mankind;
eat vegetables, be serious, engage in rituals, worry about an afterlife,
and criticize others when they deserve it.

What are humans’ most popular hobbies?
Among the less civilized: decorating their body;
among the more civilized; decorating their reputation, (with awards, degrees);
among the intellectuals; decorating their mind, (with facts),
and the few decorate something that cannot be seen, measured or talked about.

What a hobby!

One man lives next door to a noisy factory, but the factory is unapologetic --
since it has to live next door to a man.

If you are ill then there is something certainly wrong in your life,
but the belief that there is something fundamentally wrong in life
is as looney an idea as is possible.

One father’s advice to a son:
“If you do not say what kind of guy you are, others will do it for you,
so it is best to go ahead and do it for yourself by one time publicly declaring:
‘I am NO kind of guy.’”

No one can fully say how they have lived for no one has yet fully lived.

Talk about family, sex, health and age/wealth is all that simple minds do,
but it never covers anything new, since there is nothing ever new there about.
All reflections on man’s animal instincts are a waste of time;
they may entertain first time round, but they are a waste of intellect;
when you have seen a fire, you have seen a fire, and that is the end of that,
but men’s descriptions of fires  are without end,
for each time you listen to one, you add to the cache.

Those who attempt to philosophize about man’s instinctive drives
are the ones who finally got philosophy its odorous name.

Quarrels by those in the throes of heat,
serves to relight the flame,
and catching themselves in the arms of a nap,
makes those who’d awake even madder.

An individual man cannot help being in a mental state mystics call, sleep
any more than he can that his brain is located in his skull.

Only one thing keeps a man asleep, that is: in the ordinary human state mind:
seriousness  --    taking non physical life seriously;
were it not for that,
no one would be confused, upset or desirous of changing their mind.

Though not known by many, when god gets to drinkin’ he likes to stomp his foot
while clapping eighth notes on the off beat and sangin' ral loud:

”Oh --  man likes to drink and clap on the beat --
                              where did I go wrong.”

(Seems to have, in his mind, a much deeper symbolism than the words about rhythm reveal.)

A myth in one land has it that man exists in the brain of a cosmic sized being,
while a competing, (though less popular one) says he is in the creature’s  bladder.
(They plan to eventually settle the conflict through a myth-off).

Another feature of FacingTheFacts is that afterward you have no feeling about
what you have seen, pro or con,
as opposed to the ordinary, facing-of-facts-about-a specific situation,
about which you always have a prejudice.

While in everyone, the area of the brain responsible for speech
is close to the area that controls the hands,
in some it is even closer to the area in charge of stupidness.

A man who knows what is going on is like a man sitting in a car with the engine running.....he knows the car is not going anywhere.....
and that the engine is running.....and that he is just sitting there.
Now this may not sound like much to you, but when you are the one who knows it,
well    --    you just gotta be there for yourself to understand.

To be in TheDream, TheDistortion, TheVacantStaring Zone
is to be internally, forever reviewing your life,
while the alternative is to be continually surveying your external surroundings.

(Either: Herky Jerky or Sammy Smooooth.)

                              When the mind be serious  --  all is chaos;
                              when the mind is serious  --   nothing makes sense;
                              superficially it seems to since the mind is thinking about the matter,
                              and apparently analyzing it,
                              but it makes no ultimate sense since the mind can come to no
                              ultimate conclsion about the matter.

When a mind be serious  --  all is chaos.

“Son, hate to tell you this  --  but:
you are not awake if you care whether or not people believe you are.”
  “Man! --  That’s a hard one! ”
“Yeah, but so’s a walnut  --  and they do okay.”

A man who knows what is going on loses all credibility with himself.

No excess of affection is spilt among those who claim to be awakening;
an animosity exists based on each’s fear that another may have actually
achieved it.

The only serious bone in a man’s body is the one that eats;
all the rest are silly putty.

Great literature can be great fun for those with great minds;
great literature for those with small minds can be the sports pages.
Great literature for the awakened minds is whatever they think.

Facts & THE Fact
For a man with the proper digestion: all the facts are in any one of the facts.

The mind has a thousand eyes, the brain but one  --   and it speaks not,
and is thus treated as unknown by the mind.

The name of this next all galactic dance is:
“Who do you think you are fooling!” --  immediately followed by:
"Who is the only person you can fool?!”

The best possible speech would have no point made therein;
it would just note how things are in some particular instance
and an awakened man’s digestion would take it from there.

In the notion of, being-asleep the inexperienced believe they suffer a metaphysical ill rather than a physiological condition --
that of the mind vacantly staring into the infinite, meaningless inner space,
as opposed to its other possibility of making sweeping surveys of the external one.

Being sick of being in man’s normal state of consciousness is like being
a man who is kept awake at night by his own snoring.

Thinking like an ordinary man prepares you to wake up in the same way that
bed wetting prepares you to become a navy S.E.A.L.

Any facts about intangibles are no facts at all;
the only way they can be used is via extraordinary digestion.

A son asked a father: “What are the odds that ordinary people who do not realize that they live largely in a dream --   and thus are not bothered by the fact
are better off than those who do?”
  “What are you now  --  a bookmaker?”

“A man who has problems is living in a blender.”

                                       “A dream!”
                                  “A blender!"
                                      “A land of staring!”
                                  “A blender!”
                                      “A distortion zone!”
                                  “A blender!”
                                      “Okay  --   in a distorting, staring blender.”
                                   “Okay.”

“What might I do” asked a man’s thoughts, “To aid in your enlightenment?”

  “Get out of my light.”

The way to do it is either: plain living & high thinking  --  or:
high living & plain thinking  --  either way will work.
