THE NEWS

TALK & INTELLIGENCE

What passes for intelligence among the ignorant, (everybody),
is to talk about what everybody else is talking about.

Why has it been so commonly said that too much knowledge makes a man sad --
--  even mad?
What kind of knowledge do they believe they are speaking of?

Routinely does the mind, when unable to answer a direct question,
offer a history of the background from which the question arose,
(“What is the difference between Socialism & Communism?”);
likewise does a man’s mind handle questions regarding it defining the man;
it will, instead of giving explanations of his nature,
offer an endless, meaningless history of the man.

TALK & INTELLIGENCE

What passes for intelligence amongst the ignorant, (everybody),
is to express concern about what everybody else says they are concerned about.

Life, say all who feign reflection, is made up of pleasure and of heartache;
to one of these, a man awake would not admit.

“To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only purpose of life,” have said the ordinary,
and only the few  ever execute it.

Maxim Finally Corrected For Suitable Use By Ordinary Minds:

Life teaches men to be less severe with themselves than with others.

God said: “Let there be light!”  --  and there was light:
He then said: “Let there be dark,” and then said: “Where the hell’d the light go?!”

Life teaches everyone that you simply  --   cannot have it both ways –
--  ‘cept, (Ha Ha!)   --   the few never learn.

(Some years later, when asked about it directly, The Big Guy pointed out that
man was given light so that he would be able to see the sun.

[there are those who believe He-&-Life nurse a certain sardonicy........
.................................................which the few take as instruction.])

TALK & INTELLIGENCE

What passes for intelligence amongst the ignorant, (everybody),
is to think about the things everybody else thinks about.

The simple laugh  --   the knowing just privately smile with their eyes/I’s.

To an awakened man, whatever it is, (unless it is too hot to eat), needs no modifier.
Remember: the dead are not sleeping    --      they are just dead.
Is your real life the one you physically lead   --    or something else?
One rabbit’s ever-troubling private ponder: “Exactly what is my duty to life?”

In one style or another,
most people live their life as though they are rehearsing to live their life.

If it is death that makes life worth living,
it is ignorance that makes knowledge worth knowing,
and then it must be sleep that makes awakening worth waking up for  --
--  which leaves you with this:
what then is the operational distinction between any of the two?

And one man asked his mind: “May I work to get you a back brace?”
to which his mind replied: “Dolt !  --   I am that which so braces you
that you are able to make such nonsensical, though well meant inquiries.”

Even if you cannot speak Romanian, if you pretend that you can in every waking hour, no one can prove otherwise.

The acquiring of anything valuable always requires some type of cheating.

One man decided to stop thinking of his thoughts collectively
and deal with each one individually as it appeared.
Thus did he become the Robin Hood of his neural Sherwood Forest.

POEM PERTINENT THE PARSIMONY OF UNITY

                                          He with but one coat, cannot lend it;
he with one mind, cannot spend it,  (waste it, that is.)

One man pondered: “How, in the face of all ready evidence, can the human mind  --
--  the universe’s premier observer  --
persist in believing that what is to come will be any different than what has been?! --
......(‘course there is the possibility of that being mind’s proper nature.")
[“And -- Thanks be to Big Z” mummered one man,
“For the few’s potential for impropriety!”]

To be asleep is to assist in preserving the obsolete.

No business is fully operational until it has a slogan:
(“Number One In Our Field”  --  “Where Service Is All”)  –
and likewise with man’s mind, its motto in everybody being:

“Hey, here’s the kinda guy I am......”

Learning primes a born intellect   --   all others, it thin coats in plaster.

One guy’s theory is that the original purpose of speech was so man could get laid without resorting to force,
not unlike, (it might be noted), your brain's verbal treatment of your mind.

If trying to wake up & clean out your head is not the raison d’ être of your existence,
then all of your life is an attempted hustle of one sort or another:
trying to get someone else to give up something of theirs to you --

but if you are struggling to Know What The Deal Is --

you are attempting the same game on yourself.

What make ye of the fact that so many of man's revered thinkers have said that
laughter is totally unbecoming for both the gods and superior men?!

Those who think anything of value is to be said about food, sex or slumber
are as far from realizing what is going on in life as the blind are from the sighted.

Stirring yourself from a dream burdens you then with responsibility –
--  which explains its diminutive popularity.

Hearing ordinary people attempt to explain human behavior
is almost as boring as the thing itself.

Ordinary minds are able to express themselves adequately

due not to their handiness with language
but rather the simplicity of the thoughts they need expressed.

The opposite of something not correct is not its corrected version.

Does a brace need a brace?!      Well, why not!        What's it gonna hurt!
