 THE NEWS

Some civilian sorehead has asserted:
“Man’s natural instincts never lead him toward what is solid and true,
but toward what is hollow and false” --  but this is not correct:
he should say that man’s natural mental instincts never lead him....and so on --
but even then, they do not lead him totally astray  --
only slightly off the announced target.

A striking example of the mind’s unrealized relationship with itself is in the serious, scientific controversy over whether or not language is instinctive in man.
“Is it too much to ask that a mirror at least try to look at itself vigorously enough
to finally get some suspicion of what it is!”
  “Better yet: until it finally wises up.”

A man asked a mystic:
“Couldn't you tie all of the many disparate things you say about waking-up
into a unified system for people to study?”
   “Yes."
“Then why don’t you?”
    “It would make them think they know more than they do.”

Mind conceits matters that n’er were before in this universe.

There are two ways to present reality: in actions and in words;
reality-in-actions cannot be resisted;
reality-in-words will not be accepted.

What brings forth man’s claim that:  “In every joy is sorrow” --
      why does man feel all of his pleasures fraught with pain?

You can forget about any one who says that they want to awaken so they can,
“save the world”  --  “help mankind” or, “do God’s work” --  in fact,
anyone who can still tell you why they want to wake-up doesn’t have a clue why.

What is the always sure sign that someone has no idea whatsoever about
what is going on with life?
They talk about their self  --   their self!          ------          can you believe it!?

Most talk is mostly illusion;
you just think that someone is talking --
and just imagine that you are hearing it.

Those who verbal bricks throw
think themselves likewise  targets of same.

A mind which sees others as twits, feels itself victim of an undeserved twitskrieg.

Anyone who announces that they are smart, is not as smart as you could be, that is:  you could be smart enough to know better than to do what they did.

‘Tis truly surprising how little real silence is required to constitute intelligence.

All talk about the mind is more than illusionary  --
it is the illusion of illusionary.

Curious is it not, that it be said:
“All of man’s joys are made possible by some form of ignorance”?!

*

The only things that work with ordinary men are: guilt and fear;
          the few run off of oxygen and select, inflamed synapses.

Question: What is the most ridiculous, outrageous notion ever conceived of by man?
The idea that the universe is the brain of some gigantic creature.                        HAH!

The physical difference between joy and tragedy is that joy has energy,
and tragedy has none  --   that is what tragedy is: an absence of energy.

The only love most men have for intelligence is their fear of being called ignorant.

What kind of health is it to be acceptant of your burns
under the joy of not having been fried completely?!

Large distortions swallow small distortions under the names:
knowledge and ignorance.

One really weird guy used to sing to himself:
                 “All it takes to make me happy --

                                              is me making me happy.”

One man’s mind said: “I am the best there is at what I do,
                                  and do not in private, mind saying so."

Everyone’s mind is mostly composed of fairy tales.

The most amazing thing in the universe has a fascinating quirk:
                         if you look at it when it is relaxing  --  it vanishes.

The want to awaken
is a desire to parlay the brain into performing beyond its factory specs.

Everyone hallucinates --
everyone believes they are conscious and in charge of their self mentally.

Inmates of the sole insane asylum on one planet are treated and kept under control
by one simple method:
allowing them to talk as freely, foolishly, unthinkingly and constantly as they like.

“Biography” is the politeword for it.

Struggling to awaken is a special type of calisthenics.

A man who insists on having the last word never leaves  --
even when he physically departs.

Knowledge is what you get from someone else;
enlightenment is what occurs when you get free of such knowledge.

To be awake is to be shallow & transparent.

Plain descriptions of how things are have two distinctive characteristics:
no one can refute them and no one is interested in them.
