When ChasingTheBullet  --  full bore,

                                             you see things every day,
                                             men never have before.

There are three things of three different degrees of significance:
a thing that is essential;
a thing that is meaningful,
and a thing only apparently so;
everyone takes the last one to be quite meaningful,
and the middle to be mostly a mystery,
and the first one  --   people are split on;
while everyone takes it to be essential,
only some believe they know what it is,
while others believe that you cannot know what it is.
The third thing can know more about the first than routine people can ever imagine.

One father’s advice to a son:
“Never speak of disturbing matters to others,
and never of soothing ones to thyself  --  in udder woirds: ChaseTheBullet, ole sot  --
 chase that brilliant, liberating bullet.”

An automobile runs  --  and makes noise as it runs,
and those who know enough about how the car runs can affect the noise it makes:
this is waking-up and being cut free.

Being free is being free of nothing meaningful;
nothing holds your mind captive now other than the meaningless noise
your car mechanically makes as it runs,
but once you understand that that is where all mental noise comes from,
the noise no longer holds captive your attention.

There’s the headlines in the newspapers and then there’s the ink they get on your fingers; two different things; ordinary people sense no difference,
which is why the few chafe at being ordinary.

In ChasingTheBullet  --   full blast,

                                               your thoughts are daily fresh,
                                               not old ones from the past.

There is a power line that runs from X through Y and into Z;
everyone feels knowledgeable about Z, and somewhat knowledgeable about Y,
and everyone believes they are much knowledgeable about X when the facts are:
they know nothing about Z,
little about Y,
and are completely confused about X.

If it’s not food, it’s entertainment  --  whatever it is:

that's the fact: face it, accept it  --  there is no problem in it  --  only in not recognizing it.

Life, for those with dual depth eyes/I’s, abounds in metaphors,
and amets in boundaphors,
but perhaps the daddy of them all is that everyone is part of a ventriloquist act consisting of: the writer, (who is responsible for the ideas and dialogue of the act),
the ventriloquist, (whose energy is responsible for the act’s presentation),
and the dummy, (from whom the words and ideas seem to come).

Everything every person thinks, says and does is part of a ventriloquist act,
and the dialogue of some contains denials of the fact,
while the dialogue of others contains professed identifications of the writer,
and everyone’s dialogue contains a hearty insistence that the dummy is
a lot smarter than he looks,
and that all the ventriloquist needs is a good laxative and a veggie burger.

The truth is that in the routine ventriloquist act of the earth’s population,
no one knows who writes the act,
no one is on a first name basis with the ventriloquist,
and everyone’s seeming familiarity with the dummy is a brilliantly executed illusion, (possibly left over from a magic act).

Now --
for the unpredictable, unexplainable few,
here’s the wrap up of today’s deal:
if you find your own individual, personally suitable way of: ChasingTheBullet constantly,
with it in your thoughts when you awaken in the morning,
and last on your mind when back in bed at night,
every single day of your life will eventually become a truly extraordinary,
thoroughly fascinating, exciting, surprising mental experience:
you can, every day of your life have an experience in your brain that excels any of those you may have spasmodically and uncontrollably had via dope, fasting, chanting, praying, dancing, meditating, or by the apparent grace of some guru,
or any of the other activities devoted to experiencing a state of mind different from man’s routine one.

By your own private, solitary BulletChasing you can have every day,
almost like clock work,
eye popping, totally original, explanatory thoughts about everything in life
that no human brain has ever had before,
and every day suddenly see in your mind how life really is
in ways you have never heard of or thought of before.

For the few who want it and can appreciate it,
it is Xmas for your brain  --  every day.

J

The big trick to getting yourself in position for the bullet to strike you is:
do not do anything you do not have to do  --   mentally;
do not allow any thoughts that are not essential to your life to remain in your mind
more than the split second it takes to recognize them.

Throw ‘em outta your house, the damn interlopers   --    it’s Xmas   --    a time just for family.

Three times a week Jan speaks in greater detail on the matters about which he writes
which you can hear on the net via subscription.
